Another home game, another chance to defeat a struggling team. Hopefully the Clippers just play like they have. Dunleavy better use the bench more also, because after blowing the lead they had on Thursday night with his 8 man rotation, it's getting very obvious that the players are getting a bit tired.

GO CLIPS!!! and turn those Wolves into Puppies.

It's getting close to the end of the game. To anyone who is watching: WHY ARE WE FOULING SO MUCH???

So far, following this game online is frustrating tonight. We got close many times and the Wolves would pull away, then as the game wound down...we kept fouling them. Garnett hits his free throws. I love Brand, but he doesnt come close to Garnett in making foul shots.

with less than 2 minutes left, we are down by 10. If we dont make all our three's, its over. Sucks too. We could have beat this team. Why did Kaman only have 3 points???? makes no sense.

You'll notice that Cassell only has 4 assists. We've been winning when he has near 10. Something to point out.

The game is all over. Seems to me the Clips should be waving Tim Thomas as trait bait instead of Maggette. Thomas isnt hitting anything of importance. I'm sorry, this guy is a joke. Oops, there goes my trying to stay positive.

No Singleton, No Ewing, it looked like Cassell dissappeared in the 2nd half. Kaman had no offensive presence (but when he does shoot the ball, he tends to miss more than make). WE NEED A real Point Guard. Cassell cant handle it himself. Livingston's time to shine is approaching. If he isnt ready to pick up the PG with authority soon, Cassell will be gone and we'll be scrounging for a PG. We need someone fairly quick that most importantly plays solid defense, and can score when need be.

What a game by KG though. Props to him. He does so much, yet he's never had much of a solid team around him.

Oh well, back to the drawing board tomorrow night against the Sonics. Could we trade Livingston & Thomas for Earl Watson & Damien Wilkins ??? HEHE.

Cant wait to hear what you guys have to say about this game.

GO CLIPS!!!

Man I came home late and just finished watching the game on DVR- the Clippers had 26 turnovers (!!!) to only 12 assists- that's the complete opposite of the last few games. Guys were just throwing the ball away, not catching passes, and yeah as JLemm pointed out fouling a lot. It looked like they were the ones playing a back-to-back game rather than Minnesota- they just seemed a step slow (esp. on D- that's why they fouled so much) and not sharp. Whatever pre-game preparations they did to pump themselves up, be ready, etc.- I hope they don't go back to it. Instead they need to go back to the same routines they used the first two games of the winning streak.

Right off the bat though you could see the T'Wolves' game plan- pressure the ball handler and pressure the perimeter. It worked fantastically for them- Clipper guards lately haven't been challenged with that sort of D and they made tons of bad decisions. They passed when they should have shot and in several key instances for Mobley and Thomas they forced it instead of making the extra pass. Those two key scoring threats for the Clippers combined for an awful 3 out of 21 shooting. But despite all the pressure and bad shooting they could've won if they didn't make too many unforced errors- but they did big time.

I commend the zone defense the Clippers employed to get back in the game- they even lead 82 to 80 I believe. But then a couple more turnovers and numerous missed shots later they were done.

I agree with the point about Livingston- he could've really stepped up and help out Sam more tonight but he simply wasn't much of a factor tonight. He missed some easy shots and didn't convert some layup attempts where he got fouled. He really needs to work on finishing better around the basket- taking the contact and then still finishing. Kaman also needed to step up and help Brand out but he had a nightmarish game with only 3 points.

Well another big game coming up against the Sonics. They are very capable of beating the Clippers so guys need to shake off this loss and come out sharp from the get go tomorrow night. Hopefully Shaun & Tim will fare well against Watson & Wilkins Smile.

Sorry, I know some of you are against it; but after being there at tonight's game and seeing the Clippers performance....BOOOOOOOOOOOO! A big game against that Timberwolves and they come out with that?? They had a chance to not only move 2 games ahead of Minnesota but also close in on Denver for the 7th spot. I'm sorry, but there has been way too many games this season in which the Clippers haven't looked ready to play. There is no way that the team should have had 26 turnovers and that is why I let out the biggest BOOOOOOOOOOOO. It was pure carelessness out there and that is what cost them the game.

Livingston has yet to show me what the Clippers see in him. Ok, he's a tall guy who can dribble the ball. It pretty much stops there. He can't shoot. He's not aggressive. He seems unable to make the simple pass. He's way too casual. The best thing that he seems to do is complain. Every game I watch him constanly raising his hands at the officials as if to say they are to blame for his poor play. I can't remember the last time he's taken the blame for his mistakes, instead showing frustration at some of his teammates (Kaman especially) for his bad passes and decisions. I think right now, the only way he's going to make an All-Star game is if they have one for crybabies.

Kaman is also playing poorly. I am very surprised at how he's been struggling this season. I thought he'd step up his game to an even higher level this season but, thus far, this has not happened. However, I think part of the problem is that he doesn't get the ball enough in spots were he can be successful. As a big man, he not bringing the ball upcourt. He has to depend on his teammates to get him the ball in the right spots. I think he needs to average about 10 shots a game. If you go look at his stats, he seems to be more successful all around with about 9 or 10 shots a game. 4 or 5 shots a game is not going to do it. Pound the ball inside to Brand and Kaman!

After this disaster against the Wolves, the Clippers need to win tomorrow's game against Seattle and then come back home and take care of the Bulls (good news...Ben Wallace suffered a knee sprain tonight so he may be out for Wednesday). They need to win these two before going out on the road for the 7 games against the East. The next 9 games will tell us if the Clippers will sink or swim this season. I'm glad these games are before the trade deadline...just in case we need to do something major.

Yeah you're right on about Livingston being too casual with the simple passes. But sometimes he gets too fancy with it too- especially when feeding Kaman. I see him look the other way and fire a pass into the post too many times- sometimes he tends to psych-out Kaman. They simply need to work on that more- though it's basic stuff you'd think.

Tonight the T'Wovles forced Kaman to catch the ball farther away from the basket and that seemed to throw him off. In those situations Chris needs to just catch, face, and shoot the J- period. Or work harder to establish a deeper post position.

One of those games that we must forget the quicker way possible...Everybody knew that it was a must win but it seems the team didn't think the same...it's a pitty. We can't give more presents like that in our own court...If the opponent annuls Cassell the Clippers are lost...I wonder what are we going to do when Sam leaves to finish his career...I'm with jlemmens:let's see if there's anybody who wants our marvelous pack Livi-TimThomas...Game after game Livi only dissapoints us.The same old story. Anyways I think the most important key has been Kaman...Scoring 3 miserable points says everything...but he only has shooted 3 times!!!!A 10 million center who only shots 3 times.wow
