Great win tonight!!! 112 pts against a D that only gives up 90. We did that.

A couple of notes, butler played an amazing game. Realistically speaking, he wont have a game like that for a while. Memphis WILL come back game 2 and put in full effort hitting the boards. We need to make sure that our intensity is exactly the same for game 2 as it was today.

I told all my friends before the game we would win by 20...glad the guys made me look good. Great win and like I said before we really should finish the Grizzlies off fairly easy. By the way... the biggest thing I took from this game? DJ was playing great D on Gasol. Gasol normally shoots like 100% against us haha but I mean I saw him miss more than I have ever seen him miss and DJ was all up on him... the times he did score it was some extremely difficult shots that he would make. This is key if we are going to finish em off early

oh and the refs? Well it was frustrating watching Randolph rough up Blake and hit em with all kinda dirty **** but Blake would just breathe on Randolph and they would call a foul. Ironic since Randolph is the one that complains about Blake Flopping.....

The reason Caron is playing so well, is because our guards are getting him the ball in his most effective spots. It is pretty rare to see Caron miss when he comes off the dribble at 15ft when he has that forward motion thing he does. I wanna say he hits that somewhere in the realm of 60-70% and CP# has been getting him the ball there a lot lately and it shows

I think Playoff-CP3 might be the best player on the planet. He has absolutely ZERO flaws.

Just got home, that was fun. The bench came up huge tonight. I thought Turiaf gave us a huge boost of energy, made a key bucket in the 4th. Bledsoe was awesome tonight, I hope they use him in the 4th Quarter frequently. We're going have to watch out for Blake's health because he did not look good at all offensively tonight. Overall, it was fun, crowd was very loud which was great to see. Oh and of course, the refs were awful as usual, I'm glad we were able to win in spite of them.

A good shooter in the NBA can shoot ~70% when uncontested. As long as he can get in his sweet spot, watch out. WTF was Lamar? What was that double foul BS, Griffin/Zbo. It's a foul or not. Let's get binary.

Billups is a huge difference maker.CP3 as SG is interesting. We won pretty much without DJ and BG.

Three PGs was some nasty sh*t when all three can get to the rack and all three are 85 +5 ft shooters. We may see how well EBled can shoot. It seems we can outmatch them with any line up as long as we can do something with Gasol.

This could be a sweep or a 5 game.

I still thing the Bench should be called "Mat and the Vegomatics" They will slice and dice your as*

SIQUE PLAYER

EBled, Matt, CB, Jamal, Caron, CP3, AND for your listening pleasure VDN

SICK PLAYER Lamar

Markazi...

After the game in the locker room, there was a message written on the Clippers' dry erase board: "9 min. left 77-76. End game on 35-15 run!"

Watched the whole game and celebrated all night wearing my clipper gear! I loved the play of cp3, billups, butler, Jamal, Bledsoe, and turiaf! Turiaf played well and gave lots of energy! The refs were terrible. I hate Randolph and have no respect for him. He's constantly giving Blake cheap shots and the refs let him get away with it. All these double fouls were fouls on Zach only and he's complaining. He's tries to play and act tough but he's a cry baby.

Bledsoe was the main reason for breaking the game open. Love it when he and cp3 play together also. We just dominated them on the boards and they are supposed to be one of the best rebounding teams! Great team effort! We better not let down and get over confident. Memphis will rebound better on Monday. Lets dominate on Monday!!!

What a fantastic win last night! I had a work-related function last night so I missed the first half, but WOW the guards really dominated, while the bigs were basically cancelling each other out.

Okay, so I can blame BG for a couple of fouls he shouldn't have committed. But there were at least 2 I saw that I just don't get. I mean, if the refs are going to blow the whistle on Blake for boxing Z Bo out, this is going to be a rough series. I hate to whine, but it really did look like the refs were letting Randolph play (despite the fact he was also in foul trouble) but they don't let BG play. What is it about Z Bo anyway that they are so quick to call double fouls. It's like that last regular season game against these guys. They called a double foul when Randolph bear hugged BG and tackled him to the ground. How is ANY of that a foul on Blake. THAT'S how I felt about a couple of plays last night.

Having said that, when Blake's in foul trouble, he's got to understand he can't just run smack into another player at full speed. And when he has 5 fouls, it's probably smarter to not risk taking an offensive charge in the first place. Whether he had good position or not, the refs had to call something and we have no idea which way they're gonna go. There's no doubt Blake played hard last night (and was effective in slowing Randolph down), but he also has to play smarter.

Just checked the box score. Interesting that BG was +15 (second only to Paul's +17) in 25 minutes.

Blake did his job..neutralizing zbo. We cannot expect huge numbers from him with that matchup

Think Blake and DeAndre did the part in some degree in just playing rough and keeping the Grizz off the boards on the defensive end and we got extra offensive plays. Don't think this will be a huge scoring series inside for the bigs and for sure at home I think we ride the perimeter scoring.

Our bigs on and off the bench played great as decoys Paul got a ton of open looks off screens because they feared the lob. Liked how Odom was physical and made sure to bang inside with Ronny and Hollins covering his back.

I literally watched none of this game. I was pretty sick and just didn't wanna deal with any stress. WTF happened to Tony Allen in this game? Why'd he play only like 18 minutes?

Of course we know Memphis will want to come back strong in Game 2. Whatever we were doing on the boards, we gotta keep doing. We can't be satisfied.

i know the question was directed at 86, but as one of his critics i do have to acknowledge that he executed the game plan brilliantly. I said before in another thread that this is the time where we need to support the team ad i am putting my criticisms on pause until after tje playoffs are done

Care Bull, that so-called "overrated" defender could be a teammate of ours next season. Then what do you say. Razz

i seriously doubt memphis gets outrebounded like that in games 2,3,etc.

clips better bring the same intensity.

I don't think Allen is an overrated defender. He's one of the best perimeter defenders. Our guys just out played him yesterday.

Fox Sports News

Blake fouled out on a "questionable" call.

Vinnie get a couple of "T"s. That's what Pop would do. Talk to the press and get fined PLEASE. This could cost us the series especially if the media even say BG shouldn't have fouled out.

Dude you're Italian throw some Capone sh*t on their ass. (I won't make any Cicero Illinois jokes)

i dont care for the guy. personally i rather see the clips add a 3 point shooter than a defender. allen always seems to be taken to school by cp3 and ebled. i think overrated is a harsh term, but hes not the elite defender everyone claims him to be. hes a good defender. nothing special.

^i agree, I would want a good defender that can shoot 3's at a high rate over a great defender and junk 3pt shooter like Allen.
