I doubt it, they don't announce the starting lineup until about 30 min before the game.

If this is true, this might not be a bad move and here's why...

Barnes is a better defender than Butler is, and Prince has a jumper that he'll knock down 9 times out of 10 with Butler guarding him. Barnes can hit the corner 3, rebound, and get to the rim while Butler has lost much of that over the last few years due to horrible injuries.

This will also force Tayshaun to exert more energy than he should with Barnes all over him and having to follow Barnes around who is a little quicker than Butler.

Putting Crawford in there forces the Grizzlies to have Conley and Allen both guard a top priority shooter. Who will guard who is the big question, Crawford I believe has like 4-5 inches on Conley if I am not mistaken, meaning Conley may be forced to guard CP3 and Allen to guard Crawford who is lights out at times.

Having Crawford out there will leave the paint open for DJ and Blake to try to get some open looks and force the Grizzlies top defensive players to all lock down on someone.

Bringing out a bench of Bledsoe who terrorizes the Grizzlies, Billups, Butler, Odom and whoever else ( probably Turiaf ) will put a lot of pressure on the Grizz bench whose primary scorer is going to be Jerryd Bayless who is probably going to get smoked by Bledsoe.

Billups and Butler will spread the floor with their outside shooting, Odom can play all of the place and Turiaf can be looked at for open looks inside while Bledsoe runs all over the court like a mad man.

Those 2 lineups give us a clear edge as Ed Davis will be force to bang inside against Turiaf. Hollins and Odom who are all expendable with hard fouls. And Odom probably has the 2nd biggest wingspan on our team and can force Ed Davis to play on the perimeter where Odom can take advantage of his lack of quickness and ability to guard out there.

I could see Crawford starting more than I do Barnes, simply to force the Grizzlies top 2 defenders to lock down rather than being able to double team CP3, or to float and go pick on someone who gets the ball in the post.

In that same article they talk about Crawford and Barnes coming off the bench.

I like the idea... Jamal isnt that bad of a defender and if he's on tony allen he wont really have to worry about it. Most of the work will be when the Clippers are on offense. This linup could make some sense to me...

Haha, they expect you to believe what they are saying but they mess up 40% of our starting lineup.

If i was going to make any changes to the starting line up, I'd put Eric Bledsoe in at the 2. That way we could throw Bledsoe on Conley to slow him down, and Chris paul could guard Tony Allen which means he wouldn't have to exert himself too much defensively and can put more emphasis on the offensive end.
