The Miami Heat have found a taker in their quest to trade the No. 2 draft pick, a source familiar with the situation told Pro Basketball News. The source did not indicate which team would be the Heat’s trading partner, or what other draft picks or players are involved.

The supposed deal will reportedly be announced during or shortly after the draft. According to the source, the Heat will select USC guard O.J. Mayo and trade him. Kansas State forward Michael Beasley is expected to fall to No. 3 -- although not to Minnesota, which is expected to trade down.

    Is this true?????
Just imagine if the partner are the Clippers

i heard the same thing. The problem is I heard the lakers were the possibility. Marion (expiring contract)and (Mayo) the second pick for a package involving Odom, Farmar and Walton and a future pick or cash. Sounds far fetched but u never know.

I think Andrew Bynum & Jordan Farmar for Mayo. Just guessing. I can definitely seeing the Lakers trying to get Mayo since they have weapons to trade.

Why is everyone down on Beasley. I would be overjoyed if i had the opportunity to draft him. He is such a stud and pretty much a lock to put up double doubles every night as a rookie. The miami heat are stupid to think a dwade/guard combo is more effective than a dwade/beasley combo.

Please tell me if Im wrong but does this mean that Beasley could possibly end up in Seattle with his best friend Durant? WOW thats scary.. I hope its not the Clippers that have made this deal, because Im sure we would have to over pay just to get Mayo.
