I can say I agree... although I personally put a little more on CP3 because I expect more of him than I do Blake. Stephen blows up on Blake, Skip calls out CP3 most.

We need Chris Paul to be the Chris Paul of the 2011 playoffs for the Clippers the same way Memphis needs Zbo to be Zbo from the 2011 playoffs.

These guys RARELY, RARELY talk about our team in the show, we lose one one and they go off on us, c'mon. Lack of effort cost us the game, CP3 won't have such mediocre game twice in a row and we lost a loseable game, let's beat them tomorrow and we'll be just fine.

Yesterday was a terrible game. How do we look so stumped in a half-court offensive setting with all the veterans we have on the team? We have two point guards out there, one with a ring, and yet nobody can execute. Officiating was bad, but would it be that bad if CP/Blake would stop crying and pouting after every call whether they deserve that call or not? Playing the refs is a game in itself and CP usually plays it well but these days it seems they're worried about the calls more than the actual game. I'm not trying to justify a loss by saying it was an 8v5 game. We deserved that loss yesterday.

Really this fits a CP3 pattern,,,I can think of maybe 1 or 2 times in the season where he had a crap game and came back with another crap game,,,he usually comes back with a 20 plus game next time out.

Although at first I thought 5 games,,I could see this thing going 7.

i agree with them but i also want to point out that we didnt make any adjustments last game bc we were giving it to them. we didnt want to show all of our card in a game 3 situation. look for us to make adjustments in the coming games that matter more.

Yeah if we lose Saturday I have a feeling it's going 7. If we win Saturday, we will win in 5. My whole weekend will be ruined if we lose Saturday. We're supposed to win!

I agree 100% with both of them. Blake needs to do a better job with zach. heck, they have to do what they did in game 1. Help blake. i dont care if blake has NO REBOUNDS as long as he keeps zach off of them and he gets help.

CP needs to be more aggresive. No assists in first half and 5 TOS to only 4 assist in game with no 4th qrt points?? Thats not a recipe for success.

I HOPE vinny went off on the whole team. held everyone accountable. and makes the necessary adjustments for game 4. A must win in my honest opinion.

Vinny can't mess around with hollins. He's not right for this series. Stick with odom and Turiaf. It wouldn't be a bad idea to run a couple of plays for Lamar to make him be the threat from outside that he was supposed to be

quite the opposiite. Hollins should be used to get randolph ejected. We should instruct hollins to get inside randolphs head and try to get randolph to foul out. Even if we lose hollins randolph would be a bigger loss for them than hollins would be for us

Turiaf gets dominated on the glass. Where the heck was DJ in the 4th. He had a nice game going with 8 boards and 3 blocks. Hollins actually looked good when he was in. He got three or 4 boards and a couple were offensive boards whereas Turiaf played almost 15 minutes and got a single board. Why was he even in the game. Vinnie outcoached himself. Don't overthink it Vinnie.

I agree with the majority of what Stephen A and Skip but a little to harsh. I mean the Clippers were riding a nine game winning streak plus game three was more like a game four to the Grizzlies because no team in NBA has ever came back from being down three games in a series so Memphis literally played there hearts out and out muscled the Clippers to everything. Lack of preparation. I honestly thought DJ was going to have a big game because DJ started off the game well but as CP3 fell apart it was basically a domino effect where everyone struggled even Billups which was a shocker. I have no doubt in my mind the Clippers will bounce back in game four.

Objective Game Four:

Rebounding - Eliminate Grizzlie offensive rebounding.. Blake must out muscle Randolph for those easy second chance points Defend - DJ must be Gasol's shadow... Don't give Gasol space to shoot or pass, DJ must stay close because Gasol will struggle trying to beat DJ to the paint from 15+ feet Penetrate The Paint - Clippers have to attack the basket... If Gasol or Randolph get into foul trouble than it's a wrap because Grizzlies don't have depth

you can get on blake for not rebounding but most of zbo's pts came on deandre

I think we will win game 4.... no way all of our guards have bad games simultaneously again

Blake still learning and growing as a player. ZBO is as tough a cover as they come. The old dog is ruthless and Blake is learning. It's not like he doesn't dish it out too, he'll keep getting better and better and real soon ZBO won't be able to touch him.

agreed. no touch fouls. hammer ZBO and Gasol. make them quit. just like they hammer Bg, do the same to them. i agree with cp3 needing to play much better. i have a feeling that the clippers will beat down the j***lies today. i feel that vdn wanted to see how the grizzlies were going to play and he saw it. they are a sh***y offensive team who will try to use their bs "physical play" tactics to make the game ugly.

My perspective is Blake has crazy physical talent. His combo of strength and jumping is crazy. I get frustrated in some games where he does not box out and leaks out looking for the highlight dunk. He averages 7 to 8 rebounds a game. i really see no reason he cannot get 12 -15 rpg. He has the kind of ability. So I think he is overrated for what I perceive his ability to be...which is to kill everyone.

I thought cp3 was the best point guard I had seen in my life with New Orleans. Yes, there are games with the clips he still looks amazing. But many where he is not totally into it and other pg's blow past him. I just sometimes hear stuff like he is WAY better than any other pg in the league and I see tony parker and some others and I am sorry, I do not see cp3 as way better. Maybe in their league, but not way better. NBA has about 6-8 pg's who are really good.

Check out our starters + and - ratings. True, DJ and whoever is at 2 guard drag cp and blake down some...but for the pub CP and Blake get, you would think they could better carry some guys.

But it is nice to be in the playoffs. Clips sure were not close to that in the days of Darius Miles and Qrich.

Why is DJ = crap in these playoff series? Let's see 2 pts per game, 6.5 rebs, at least he's got 2 blcks per game, but he is just playing like someone coming off the bench. This off season we need to get rid of him, and ifnd us a decent sg/C

while i agree that they may be hyped at times, the fact is that when you look into their numbers on their impact on the court, they are superstars. superstars get doubled team. superstars cause opponents to have to tailor their game plans to control them. so in my book, they are superstars.

Thats the problem. We have this depth of players that we can essentially make expendable. Hollins is more than willing to play aggressive like they do, but Vinny doesnt want to risk ejections. The only way you counter a wolf is with another wolf. You dont send a sheep out there. I love Blake but we clearly see he's too nice of a guy for Randolph. We do need to play him against Hollins and send a message.

^ i agree. vdn needs to stop trying to say "we have to stay composed" f*** that. i want to see ZBO on the floor writhing in pain if he tries to cheap shot BG. we have the depth to do that. the grizzlies are getting to the line more, so make them earn those ft's. enough is enough.
