I actually agree 100 percent with Zbo. He's playing like a beast despite a moderate sprain himself he got in game 1 or 2. It's crazy to me how any injury completely derails Griffin's game in all facets. I want him to be more effective even in pain.

"Banged up?" Randolph said. "I'm banged up. You forgot about my ankle? Banged up. My ankle is as big as a balloon. Talk to the trainers. I'm getting treatment every day. It's the playoffs."

"Last year when I played in the playoffs, I wasn't 100 percent, but I was out there, so I had to be 100 percent," Randolph said. "It's the playoffs. It's a big boy game."

Shut the F*CK up Zach Randolph, comparing his sprain to Blake Griffin's. I don't know what he is trying to do- probably want to coax Blake into playing. Lowlife POS.

David they both have moderate sprains so I don't think he was talking trash really. More so just saying if he can play with it, Blake can. I think Blake's is slightly worse because it's a "high" ankle sprain. Zbo recently said he really likes and respects Blake in general.

Blake's sprain is a high ankle sprain which is definitely worse then a regular one. He shouldn't be comparing them. But I don't think ZBo hates Blake.

Repped High Quality Post

I don't trust any words from that fat ass' mouth. "Really likes and respects Blake in general"? Lol- probably tried to soften Blake up. And now Blake is injured, he comes with this sh*t to try to get him to play.

Wow David,,,a rant? Nicely done. Well you know what bud,,you are 100% spot on. He is probably still afraid of losing to Blake so he wants him to play so he can lay on him again and try to hurt him more. He is a street thug, nothing more, nothing less. He belongs on a street thug team, not the NBA.

I officially despise that whole team, I honestly like the lakers way more than them and I became a Clippers fan due to my hate for Lakers fans....wow. I can't figure out what it is I want to say, but I do not like these punks whatsoever

Hmm.. I didn't think of that. Maybe it's a strategy so he can go at an injured Blake instead of a better defensive, longer Odom?

I hate the Lakers more. But I don't like Gasol, ZBo, and Tony Allen. I don't have much hate for Conley or Prince.

I wish we could pick up Cousins and have him play with Z-BO. Honestly, our team needs some one like Cousins to put punks like him in the dirt

Prince, Conley and even Allen are class acts actually. All 3 are likable guys who respect opponents. It's just Zbo, Gasol, Gay and Mayo (2 are gone) that have run their mouths or cheap shotted our guys.

^He's also a very good BB player, so called "street thug" or not.

Oh and not so sure what he said that's getting some peoples hair up and isn't true come PO time.

I wish Blake would've put on his big boy pants this postseason...

Definitely siding with ZBo on this one.

Yeah Ron- more reasons for the guys to get fired up and win it for Blake. Reading a comment from the opponent dissing your fallen teammate just has to rile you up as a Clipper player.

Well, hopefully it fires the team up! Let's get this win!

These comments are awesome. Blake's injury is way worse the Z-Bo's though. They shouldn't be comparing the two.

zbo doesnt have a high ankle sprain... zbo's ankle is NOT as big as a balloon

just to compare...

most players who get an ankle sprain get their foot wrapped and play thru the injury (Zbo).... most players who get a high ankle sprain miss 4-6 weeks (Blake)

It's the truth. He's a lowlife- can't handle it? One of these days Zach Randolph is going to sprain his ankle, hurt his knee, or whatever really bad, and we'll remember his big boy comments, lol. Put on your "Big Boy Pants" Zach!

Rathole do you know the details on Zbo's sprain? I know Blake's is a moderate, high ankle sprain. A dr said he should NOT.be playing on it.

The only thing I can think of is in Game 2 in the 4th quarter he got hurt and was really favoring his ankle. I am sure thats what the issue is. He never left the game though. I don't think its horrible. Last season Z-Bo was playing with a way worse injury in the post season. High ankle sprains are a different animal though. Especially when you look at the way the two guys play. Z-Bo really doesn't need a lot of mobility because he is the most unathletic player on the court. Whereas Blake is clearly a freak.

You guys need to calm down. All he said is that he is playing through pain. What do you want him to say? "Blake I'm sorry about your ankle. I know you are really hurt unlike me????"

I mean come on. You guys are freaking out about something that is nothing. Just being a realist.

As for Blake's ankle, I am a former college soccer player, and have hurt my ankle plenty of times (ultimately leading to ankle reconstruction). High ankle sprains are terrible. It is not so much the pain that you are in, but the swelling and getting the swelling out. Once the swelling is gone and you have mobility, they can shoot you up and you are good to go. The long term effects of playing on it are not terrible. By playing on it you might need simple surgery to tighten the ligaments, but nothing out of control.

As for a doctor saying he shouldn't play, which a lot of you keep going back to, a doctor that has not looked at Blake can only say so much. The average person should not play, but for someone with a freakish body and round the clock medical care he can play if the swelling leaves the ankle. Blake will not be 100% for the playoffs whether the Clippers win the series or not. The key is going to be to maintain the swelling and do whatever he can to push through the pain.

Go Clippers!

I would trade DJ for almost any center in the league right now, except maybe Kenrick Perkins. He's been absolutely awful in this series.

Where is Blake whining to the media that his ankle hurts, so that Randolph can talk like this to justify what he is saying?

I don't recall Blake saying he's going to miss any time, crying in the locker room etc. Ankle sprains stink, high ankle sprains are worse. A high ankle sprain can keep athletes out for up to 2 months.

Sure ZBo has a hurt ankle as well, but a statement like this doesn't mean crap. Whether they beat us or not him saying something like this is bad juju.

You can hate ZBo all you want, but he has a legit gripe against the clippers. They cut him to make room for Griffin. Mistake! ZBo is better way better, and they should have kept him and made it work with him and Griffin. I really liked him when he was a clipper and even when we were losing ZBo was outstanding. I like him better than Blake. I'm not a band wagon fan so I can actually remember when he was on our team. If the Grizzlies beat us, which would suck, I'm glad Randolph had the chance to be the one to do it because he would have all the right in the world to prove they chose the wrong man for getting the job done. However, Blake is better for long term and longevity and he's good for bringing in band wagon fans to the club, so I can understand the business side of cutting Zach.

Honestly still do NOT understand why we gave Zbo away for free even if it was to clear room for Blake. Just an idiotic move. Zbo could have been a 6th man or run them together in the frontcourt. Sure they would have been terrible on D but offensively unstoppable.

He KNOWS blake cant play through a high ankle sprain (nobody can), so hes making the comments. Plus I bet he wants blake to play cause he knows nobody can move when they have a high ankle sprain, so he knows blake wouldn't be able to keep up with him offensively or defensively.

Please, he's obviously saying this to gain some sort of advantage. We all know the difference between playing hurt for a while and playing on an ankle that's JUST been sprained. Blake played through a sprained knee most of last year's playoffs. He's hoping Blake will try to be a hero and come onto the floor hobbled so he can take full advantage. I, for one, hope Blake pulls some miracle and kicks some butt.

I too was sad to see Randolph go. He seemed to love it here and playing him and Blake at the 4 and 5 spots may have caused us to stink a bit on defense, but they are both good rebounders and the offensive production we'd have would have been great.

People do forget tho, we did have Chris Kaman, who made the All Star team the year after Randolph was sent packing. Granted, Blake was out but still Kaman had a great year. At the time, Kaman was a better player then than he was and ahs been the last couple of seasons. His defensive abilities as well as offensive abilities were looked to compliment Blake's inability to play great defense.

I'd rather have Kaman now than DJ.

Sorry I love Zbo. I heard he was crushed when he was traded. He was a 20/10 guy then. He wanted to be a Clip. I understand. He's got a reason to talk trash. In reality right now even excluding the injury I'd rather have him than Blake. With hiim the WCF's are a lock. Best offensive rebounder in the league and around 80% FT He was our thug now he's theirs. Don't complain.

im glad a few of you are siding with zbo on this, tell you what zbo isnt singling out blake... he would say that about anybody even his own teammate...... theres one thing zbo and tony allen brought to the grizzlies that you guys lack and thats accountability.... they made rudy gay an outcast in the locker room for not playing tough and unwilling to mix it up,..... you can dislike zbo but he brings it, he backs it up, if you guys had a hard nose coach that demanded accountability you wouldnt be playing us this round youd be playing the rockets
