Some nice news regarding Blake and Taylor hosting a fun event for kids who were victimized by the tornadoes that hit Blake's home state of Oklahoma.

In the days of pointing-out selfish, immature, athletes - I think it is important to recognize when they do "the right thing". GOOD JOB, BLAKE

My Lord what a horrible thing happening in Oklahoma. I guess if you move into a place called tornado alley you must come to expect this as do we living in earthquake country, but not every other freakin week.

I was wondering when BG32 would get into it,now we need Matt Kemp to step up and help his brothers. Heck, he ain't helping the Dodgers much and he is on the DL anyhow (or will be).

A little off topic but I think the FO should save a roster spot for Taylor. At least invite him to play in the summer league. I can see Taylor as a nice unforced for his bro.

Well it could help him cope if he had to part ways with his good buddy DJ for some reason. Wink

I honestly think Taylor would be a perfect backup to Blake. He's a high energy, grimy player. Not going to give you much stats wise but would hit people, rebound and put effort into defense.

Having said that, it's entirely possible BG might not want his big brother hanging around. lol

I think a few of us on here wouldn't mind seeing Taylor Griffin on our team as a 10th, 11th or 12th roster spot player. He's like the same size as Blake and I doubt he fouls 4 times in 5 minutes like Ryan Hollins. At the very least a summer league invite wouldn't be bad. I think his bro can give us 5-8 minutes a night getting a couple points and a couple of boards. Plus it'd probably be a morale boost for Blake and his brother to play harder.

Stinky about the tornadoes. Stinky about hurricanes, avalanches floods etc. but this crap happens. It's nice when you see the wealthy give back.
