Saw somebody post this on RealGM, knew you guys would love this.

"Eric Bledsoe, who had 55 blocks this season, is the only player in NBA history to have more than 50 blocks in a season at 6'2'' or shorter.

He achieved that in 1553 minutes too. The next fewest was by World B free in 79 at 2050 minutes."

So obviously we should trade him and our future Superstar Blake Griffin for a guy that doesn't even know what he wants.

I love E.Bledsoe's defense. It's really unfortunate that we can't keep him if CP3 signs. I'd wish him luck to wherever he starts if he leaves.

Incredible stat for E-Bled and it just shows how gifted he is at those chase-down blocks and weak-side help blocks. The Clippers would certainly miss his dynamic play if he were to be traded. The bench would be substantially weaker without him. Definitely do not trade him unless the deal is too good to resist.

^ I'm starting to lean more towards cp3 being traded instead. lol. i might get hated on for even mentioning this scenario, but seeing how cp3 wants to play with howard, id do this trade cp3+1st rd pick to the flakers for nash+gasol. now hear me out. that would mean ebled stays and gets to learn from a hall of famer in nash. plus we get a skilled 7 footer in gasol.

a top 5 nba player who is bent on joining howard wherever he goes does. again, its not an ideal scenario, but its better than getting nothing in return

One of the best with steals too (although maybe gambles too much at times), a tremendous rebounder...

...is there a more rugged PG in the league than this guy?

Yeah, he gambles a little too much now, but he will get better and become smarter with playing time and experience. He plays hard all the time though which I love. If he is traded, I will miss productivity and energy.

you think of all the great point guards? stockton, thomas, magic, penny. did they block shots? no! point guards are there to create, shoot, make their team mates better etc. who really cares if a point guard can block! and we got one of the best in the business CP3. u guys act like its no big deal if we loose CP3 well i got news for you. will all be crying if he leaves because there goes our chance of winning anything for the next decade. bledsoe is a solid role player at the moment nothing more nothing less. and the jury is still out if he can make the next step into actually being a top point guard let alone great one like CP3.

CP3 is great and Bledsoe might never be a CP3 but if Paul leaves i wouldn't be crying i would be excited to see how Bledsoe develops.

I think what's important about his blocks record is it shows that even as a pg he can get blocks, he does something even the greats couldnt do at that position. If he continues to get better who knows how good he can be.

Bull, nothing personal, but I think your losing it. Razz

Personally don't think Ebled has the BBIQ to ever be a very good, let alone an all-star pg. He has a sg mentality IMO and that's why if he stays I would like to see him get a shot at that position.

But no to Nash or Gasol.

Does anybody really think we would under any circumstances make a trade with LAL? The Celtics and LAL would trade before that. Too much bad blood

With Doc Rivers as coach now, it's possible that we start Bledsoe at the 2. He used an undersized backcourt of Rajon Rondo and Avery Bradley for the past two seasons, and had pretty good results with those lineups. It's possible we see the same thing here, assuming Bledsoe doesn't get traded on draft day.

so you rather see cp3 leave for nothing? lol. come on tense, we all hope to see cp3 resign, but to act like the clips have to cater to every one of his whims is annoying. the clips have done so much for him at this point to have to deal with the whole "im going to test free agency" if he would be getting more money and a better chance to win a title somewhere else, then id understand why he is playing this thing out. but he is not. so come july 1st, just sign the f****n contract and get that over with. if the situation doesn't please him enough, f*** him. by the way even if cp3 resigns, i can see rivers telling the clips to extend ebled so he can be the starting 2 guard.

Bull, he's going to sign, do not believe all the rumors. It'll be ok you'll see.

Like to see Bledsoe get a shot at the sg position too, just have to wait and see what happens come draft time. That's where I think a Clipper trade goes down.
