Alvin Gentry's a strong candidate to join Rivers' staff, but still candidate for Memphis head job and Lakers' assistant, source tells Y!

Think the Grizzlies will hire their asst. He'll make a good HC too.

IMO, Gentry choose us over those old men down the hal, IF he wants to be a asst. again.

well sterling is a shrewd businessman, if he sees that the clips can bring him tons of money by being good, I'm sure he will open the checkbook to ensure this happens.

He seems to feel obligated to Dantoni.

Yes to Frank, Hollins. Gentry I'd be okay with.

Better late then never really applies here.

^agreed. however i will point out that he was always a shrewd businessman, even when the clips sucked. he never approached the salary cap until the new cba, which saved him tons of money throughout the years. however, once the cba came into play where he is forced to use 95 percent of the salary cap, he is now spending cash. good for the clips

Is Hollins really an option as an assistant coach?

Being a shrewd business man does not always equate to being a good sports owner. Plenty examples of that, but like I said, better late then never is a good anthem for Donald.
