Not sure why they would get credit for drafting Griffin. Getting the 1st overall pick is luck and drafting BG 1st was a no brainer. Also not sure how much of a role they had in recruiting CP3 either.

I give them credit for Doc. Really I don't have a clear idea of how big of a role they actually played in making decisions.

The on-again off-again negotiations were called off by both teams Friday, presumably for the last time -at least in the eyes of Rivers and Boston.

But Clippers President Andy Roeser and Gary Sacks, the team's vice president of basketball operations, called Danny Ainge, Boston's president of basketball operations, on Sunday morning to re-initiate talks.

Throughout the process, the Clippers kept Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Jamal Crawford and other players abreast of the situation, the executives said.

What they just did this weekend deserves respect. 29 other teams would have done the same deal. Props.

Olshey who? I still find it ridiculous that Sacks isn't on a contract. If Donald REALLY wants to change perceptions he needs to ink Sacks to a 3 year deal following this summer if Sacks continues to do great. It's important for the players and coaches to see that STABILITY.
