Yeah, Bledsoe's value is pretty high, unless we're unloading DJ as well, not too fond of this deal

Reddick should be way cheaper than Afflalo. At least a couple mil. And this is what we need. Shooters.

Just wish it was a way to get asik from Hou. Or Gortat.

just imagine reddick with cp3 finding him open. i predict he would become a 18 ppg scorer while shooting close to 50 percent from 3. no joke. BG would kill power forwards because teams wouldn't be able to double team griffin in the post. add bullock and the clips could become scary good. we would probably still have enough money to resign barnes. the deal would be made sweeter if we got mbah moute and henson (although id prefer sanders)

JJ Redick is a FREE AGENT people. We can sign him outright, why the hell would we trade for him? And Bledsoe is worth a lot more than JJ Redick. I'd ask for Larry Sanders straight up than go after Redick. Then ship DJ's butt along with Butler for a giant cap eater that can play SG or SF. Do a sign and trade with Atlanta for Josh Smith with DJ and Butler.

Good god if we trade for Redick and not try to sign him that's nuts. I am reading on ESPN he's a free agent, as I noted earlier in the year.

I don't get the whole OJ isn't good enough for E Bled thing. I love E Bled and all, but it ain't like he didn't frustrate us from time to time. C'mon let's be realistic. OJ has more of what we need than E Bled does. He's a TRUE shooting guard who just happens to be able to defend and grab a few boards. I was fine with starting Willie Green, but will change my mind for OJ (heck maybe even JJ).

Exactly. I like Bledsoe and it would be nice if the Clips can keep him long term but from a salary cap and financial stand point, I don't think it's possible. I'm glad the team is taking their time and fielding all offers for him to get the best possible deal. However, it does seem like some people are really overvaluing him. Seems like some people are expecting an all-star player for Bledsoe which is not realistic.

Damnit. T Wolves have offered Redick a 4 year deal. Hate to see our front office taking their time on this. We are going to lose out on everybody.

Seconded. He is really good at the minimum number of things a SG should offer, but can't give us that extra kick and it would end up just being CP3 in clutch situations for our back court.

Can someone explain why oj better than afflalo...aside frim money.. Afflalo is a good defender w size at the two guard. can shoot the 3 and doesn't need the ball to be ffective. Oj mayo had (if I'm not.mostaken) his best season since his rookie year last year and struggled once dirk returned because he needs the ball to be effective. not sold on his d.

afflalo is what we need. cp and blake can feed him the ball all day, plus if we trde for him who knows, maybe we can get one of their young guns..nicholson..vicevic

eh, I'm not excited if we trade bledsoe for reddick -- I think we can get someone better than him. This is purely my speculation but I feel like he wouldn't bond too well with the team.

OJ Mayo>jj reddick... there is no comparison.. its not even close.... Tony Allen makes sense... Like I said.. defense and rebounding... we score just fine... If you want some kind of scoreing why not OJ Mayo... the dude can score and defend... He was supposed to be the next Lebron James (for those of you that didn't know) .. I think OJ on the Clippers is destiny.

People are saying Mayo has to have the ball in his hands to score but watching several highlights, he's hit some big off the ball shots too. I think he's the victim of pidgeonholing, but he wouldn't be the first.

Man, if they get Gortat, that takes all the pressure Duncan. He hasn't had a formidable center since David Robinson.

If Doc dines with those guys, then it is almost certain we will get one of them. I think the whole idea behind this new fascination with free agents indicates we might be interested in keeping Bledose as a pure back-up to CP3 or we have a bigger trade in mind involving Bledsoe.

I would love to see us start Bledsoe at SG, and see how it goes. If he does well, we go over the tax for a single year in extending him. If it does not work, we trade him before he becomes a free agent for an asset. But, I think it will work.

Sure, let's have Bledsoe start at SG...take him out of his natural position of PG..."see how it goes"...no doubt become frustrated by his inconsistent shooting...ultimately driving his value down when the time comes to trade him.

Sounds like a great idea.

No to Tony Allen at SG and no to Bledsoe. We need guys who can spread the floor.

If Henson and a second round pick were included, then I would like the deal a little more. I would really rather us go after korver, but feel close to the same about both. Like that they are lights out shooters. I think we can really resolve the spacing issue if we surround blake and dj with shooters like this.

Reddick just got an offer from Minny: The Redick offer was reportedly in the range of a four-year deal worth $30 million, according to 1500 ESPN's Darren Wolfson. That would be an upgrade to the three-year, $20 million deal that he just finished playing out as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks.

That's fine...Next.
