He is scheduled to meet with the Mavs and the Lakers tonight.

Howard is a clown and a bitch, but he still makes the purple and piss a playoff team. And he can be used as an attraction to free agents in the next few seasons. So I hope Howard does leave the Lakers.

^It is funny how the Lakers are kissing up to him sooo much like he is Kobe or Lebron. I remember Laker fans bragging that no one leaves the Lakers when offered a max deal, but now they have to beg him to stay. lol.

The Lakers are so desperate. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_04

Yea like they are getting Lebron or Melo. roll

The Lakers are not the FA hot spot they used to be. No way does Howard stay so that he has a slim chance of LBJ teaming up with him. He does not want to stay with Kobe I don't pass the ball Bryant or Mike No' D Antoni.

That is not good if the Warriors get Howard. We won't be alone as the class of the Pacific.

I think the Rockets have a better chance of getting him. Either way its not good. The Rockets and Warriors would get better by a good margin if they get Howard. They could potentially become contenders even or at least pretenders.

I wouldn't mind Dwight going to GSW...as long as they lose one of their lethal 3 point shooters, otherwise...

If I'm Goldenstate I would rather give up klay than barnes, and have iggy at the two. That is a scary team either way, the pacific will be tough between them and us. If I'm the Lakers (I just puked in my mouth) I don't take anything other than Barnes and Klay. Dwight with Goldenstate or Houston will be a scary team, because they both shoot lights out. The west will be so tough, I wish we could send Houston to the East or at least OKC if not both. Maybe we can get some expansion teams out in Seattle and somewhere else out west so we can even out the conferences. Don't send them New Orleans.

Very scary. They would just get a whole lot better defensively and rebounding.

Man, Jerry West working his magic??

I nominate Vegas and Seattle to get expansion teams. Then we send OKC and Houston to the Eastern Conference to level out the playing field.

If Dwight goes to Houston, Goldenstate would have still gotten better. You will have to win close to 50 games to get into the playoffs in the West. You don't even have to go .500 to get in the East, it's ridiculous.

The west's 6 and 7th (us too) seeds are stronger or really close too it, while the East's 5,7, and 8th seed have lost their best players.

I hope he DOES go to a S&T with Warriors. They will be forced to give up multiple shooters that torch us to the Lakers and it will be Iggy+Dwight+Curry which while very nice... isn't as terrifying to me as Curry+Iggy+Barnes+Klay+ all their depth. I'd rather deal with a top heavy team than one with a gazillion shooters.

Chose Rockets. Not worried about them either. Harden wants to blitz as does Chandler.. Dwight wants to slow it down and be in the post. Not going to worry anybody.

Yeah, I'm not too concerned with the Rockets. Kobe, Nash and Howard should have been more potent than Harden, Lin and Howard.

Lin, Harden, Parsons and Howard are going to be a tough team, esp since they still have Asik and Donatas Montijuenas is up and coming as well. Houston just vaulted themselves into a 4, 5 or 6 spot in the West.

Will be interesting to see how the West breaks down next season, clearly for the like 598345th year in a row the West is the best. San Antonio will still be a top 3 team, as will OKC. Warriors, us and Memphis will likely battle for the last top 3 spot and even the Nuggets who were without Galinari for a chunk of time last year have a chance as well. Rockets will be a good/great team depending on how well everything shakes out, can't forget about the lowly Lakers who will vie for a playoff spot and even the Pelicans may drastically improve with all the additions they've made.

Going to be ridiculous out West, whereas the East is a 3 team battle between Miami, Indiana and Chicago. Knicks are just garbage and will continue to get pwned by those 3 teams year in and year out. I also feel the Knicks just got worse as a team by adding Bargnani.

Am I the only one who thinks Harden/Smith/Howard is kind of a weird team and won't be as good as they are on paper?

I just can't see them having good chemistry.

GSW will be good next year, but would they be better than what they would've been with Jarret Jack, Landry, Rush, Richard Jefferson and Biedrins still on their team plus the playoff experience they gained last season? That's 5 players for 1 player.

Barnes looked good in the playoffs and is now their only good bench player. They had a good bench before, but don't get me wrong they are still going to be a contender.

I'm actually more worried about Houston and Golden State than I am OKC or San Antonio. We know what those 2 teams have to bring to the table, Houston and GS just got some big upgrades and we have zero clue how well it could help them.

If there was a sign and trade, he'd be here for 4 years or risk forfeiting his contract.

He said before the trade that he did NOT want to go to the Lakers at all, nobody listened. Funny how not a single one of the big players are on those teams anymore, outside of Bynum who can sign with Philly but I doubt he does, they are going into rebuild mode I reckon.

Iggy 1 year in Denver, Denver's greatest season ever.

Dwight 1 year in Laker Land and one of their most disappointing seasons.

Bynum didn't play a game.
