Anybody see this? Posted a pic of himself in a Hawks jersey like yesterday. All I know is... it's time for people to stop denying this. Jamal is CLEARLY unhappy with this situation. Like I said... either buy in or GTFO our team. I'd be ECSTATIC to use Jamal's minutes to develop 21 year old Bullock if he wants to make an issue of this and Doc will NOT put up with this BS. Notice how every other player on our team is EXCITED as hell about next year? We brought in Dudley/Bullock and does Barnes vent on Twitter even though he will surely get a minute cut? NOPE.

I can't believe he is doing that, unprofessional does not do it justice. I really like Jamal but that is ridiculous. Doc needs to sort him or move him.

It's called throwback Thursday on twitter #tbt on Thursdays you post old pictures of yourself. All he did was post an old picture of himself. Calm down. What, do you think now he wants to play for the Hawks? This is too much

Nobody likes getting minutes cut but Jamal should assume Clippers management is aware of his pity party on Twitter. Ask for a trade or knock it off.

What if jamal is playin with your guy's head.. He's just testing to see if clipperfans can really support their players. One tweet and everyone freaks about his loyalty to the team. You guys havent evn seen him play under doc so no one can say he's happy or not happy cuz season havent even started yet. You can't just based on his tweet if his happy or not with the team.

I understand. Twitter is dramatic but has good sports updates. I've been following Jamal since he joined the Clippers and he's always had deep tweets with vague meaning. He enjoys doing other things besides basketball in his hometown of Seattle so during the offseason he probably doesn't want to tweet about the Clippers all the time like he does during the season. I don't even know if he's been down to LA to meet all the new faces. He has been doing events and pro ams up in Seattle. Let's just see how he reacts when the season starts. Jamal is a pros pro

I didn't jump to concluding that he's butthurt and pouting. Its been like a dozen tweets hinting at this. I'm beyond the denial phase here.

Initially I thought people were just overreacting but at this point its pretty clear that he is unhappy with his situation. I would not mind trading him for a good quality backup big. While his shot creation is valuable his poor defense hurts. Now that we have a coach that actually runs offensive sets his isolation plays aren't even as valuable.

You guys can keep pretending nothing is wrong with him. I don't care if you guys turn up to be right eventually, but I'm living in the now. He clearly wants that SG position all to himself. He didn't have to worry about that last year with Green. With Billups gone, he thought he was gonna be the starter. Let me ask this: Why hasn't he mentioned anything about the roster improvements on Twitter like other Clipper players have?

Again, I'd love to be wrong on this. But my opinion will be based on what's visible. I'm not gonna act like everything is fine and I know what's behind the scenes.

Trade Jamal for Scola or Hayes. Maybe Toronto is dump enough to trade Amir Johnson to us for JC...oh wait, Calangelo was "pushed" upstairs, damn.

Lol ur opinion will be based on visible?!! Did jamal actually said he's not happy with the team.. Answer is No. So clearly its not visible

Yea, the new Raptors GM isn't fun to trade with like Colangelo was. Amir Johnson would be an excellent fit on this team though, I think I've said that way too many times, but it is true.

Why would he think he is gonna be the starter? Talk about deluded...he came off the bench for Willie green. He Is better in 2nd unit

There is too much speculation going on in this thread.....about someone's tweet

What's visible is his hints. I never said anything about what he actually meant. So I'm just basing my opinions on those. Meanwhile, you act like you know the facts. Where's your evidence that Jamal is just playing around?

Speaking of speculations, we're all speculating here, including the ones that are defending Jamal.

Also stop comparing Green and Redick. Green was not a threat to Jamal's minutes. Now that Redick is here, Jamal has to compete with him. Not only does Jamal not get the starting spot, he will also probably lose his spot to finish games. That's the difference between Redick and Green.

Haha you got me there. I meant negative speculation. Jamal had the happiest year of his career (according to his tweets), why would he be upset about playing under Doc Rivers? He will get over playing a few less minutes, he's been a journeyman his whole career and he should know this is his best chance at winning a ring. It's been no secret that Clippers have been pursing at starting SG ever since Eric Gordon left, everybody and their mommas knw that. He's happy as the 6th man, and that's still his role. As the roster is conrtucted right now, he is very important. He is the best wing player we have off the bounce and we can't have all the ball handling pressure and playmaking up to Chris Paul all season long

Yup but at the same time I can see where he's coming from. He has confidence in his game and he feels like he deserves the starting spot. He's a competitor, so I can't blame him. But if he starts hurting our team chemistry, which is very likely, then we should ship him out before trade deadline. Again I really love Jamal, he seems so humble and nice. So get it together man.

If Jamal is no longer happy let's trade him to Derrick Williams can be a strech 4.

Love Crawford, but he's more of a 1 man offensive attack. When he gets the ball he rarely passes, he isolates and does his crossover and shoots, or drives to the rim. We don't need a guy stalling out the clock starting games for us.

There's a reason why he's finally found his niche in basketball off the bench, nobody in the NBA is that explosive or deadly off the bench, and he's got the skills to run the point as well. JR Smith can get hot, but he makes horrible choices, is a douchebag and is really only a 3PT threat.

Crawford gets to the line and can milk the clock, which allows CP3 and others to get some rest on the bench. It's rare you can put 1 guy out there to be your entire offense when you rest your primary targets, but we are able to do that with Crawford.

Redick needs to be on the floor to give the players in the paint space. Crawford isolates, takes up the entire floor. Whose going to get Blake the ball? Crawford isn't a monster from 3PT land like Redick is. Redick can hover around the 3PT line, move off of pick and roles for spot up jumpers and be a quick out from Blake in the paint for a spot up shot. If Blake passed the ball out to Crawford, he'd probably isolate, crossover and toss up a jumper. We need quick, easy wide open buckets. Not someone to kill time.

Our bench is already sick with Collsion, Crawford, Barnes, and Hollins. It's gong to the same up and down fast tempo 2nd unit that was so effective for us last year. Wether y'all like it or not this team will need Jamal to play his scoring ad playmaking role exceptionally for us to make it to the Finals. I have faith Jamal will thrive under the best offesnive system of his career with Gentrys floor spacing and thrive playing under the best of the 17 coaches in his career. There won't be any drop off in Jamal's play, only improvement

im not disrespecting Jamal i just suggest if he is not longer happy with the team we trade him,for Derrick Williams as far i recall he is not a bust remember whenever the Clips play the Wolves,Williams makes a killing of the Clippers.

Him and Michael Beasley both looked amazing against our terrible 3 point D. Doesn't mean I want either. Willaims is a "tweener" forward that plays better with the ball in his hands. If we get a stretch 4, I want a great catch and shoot guy or a great pick and pop guy

Did any of you guys heard the interview of jamal during half time in summer league today. He said he's been in contact with doc and doc told him to do the same thing and he has to do a lot of catch n shoot this season because we're actually gonna have a system not like vinnys streetball system. Jamal said he feels getting better n better.

Sounds much different than last year. Pretty much said he's unsure about everything and going to take a wait and see attitude this year. Nothing like the gung ho Crawford last year who repeated "Clipper for life!" etc.

I will say it again

we are taking things way out of proportion.

plus if he is unhappy then he is not a team player like everyone else. Matt took a paycut, collison signed for less money (both possibly knowing they wouldn't play a lot of mins).

if jamal wants to leave( Not saying he is) let him go and get something good in return.

We can't WORRY about ANYONE player. Now we need to worry about a championship

If jamal is onboard...great

if jamal feels that being a starter is more important(again, not saying he is), there are bad teams looking for one, I'm sure he would like to start in charlotte or orlando

Trade him to Dallas for Brand (S & T) & Vince Carter. Or Detroit for Jebreko.

I know his trade value isn't very high as a 33 score first guard but his value on OUR team a lot higher than Jerbeko. Why do we want to trade a proven assets for an unproven one in a win now situation

He gives us a backup PF with energy and hustle. He knows his role and will play within the system.

I don't think the Mavs need more guards who can't play defense(Calderon and Ellis?lol). Brand + Carter is better than Jamal by himself too. Brand and Carter had a very solid season last season.

ClipsShow

And at the end of the day Jamal is still our 3rd best scoring option, we can't give him up for someone who just hustles and know his role

Jamal is even worse at defense than a washed up Billups and was horrendous in the playoffs. Lets not act like he is untradeable. I wouldn't trade him for Jerebko unless of course he causes chemistry issues due to pouting about minutes or something. I want a good backup big for him. Jerebko is ok but not enough value. Never underestimate the value of someone who hustles and knows their role. Centers can average a double double along with good defense with that alone.

I never said Jamal Crawford was untradable haha that is far from the truth. But he went from almost winning the 6th man to wanting to be traded for Jerbeko by our fans...because of some tweets? How does getting rid of Crawford for "tweener" forward that shoot threes (doesn't do it well by the way) and has averaged less than 8 points in a career help us win a championship? This is disrespectful to the OVERALL season Jamal had for us last year

I get it, I see it. Jamal can't play defense, it's no secret. But he is so valuable to our 2nd unit and how the offense operates that it shadows his limitations
