Someone should post the Fox Sports West promo of "Before the Bigs" about Jamal Crawford. It's only like 4 minutes but its still interesting. I would do it but I have no idea how to.

Where is it? If you're on Fox Sports website.. on the video you'll see a 3 circle symbol that kind of looks like a gecko hand. Click it and it will pull up links. Click "copy to clipboard" then you can paste that link info here.

Guys the Before the Bigs thing will get it's own thread. So don't discuss it in here if you can because we are going to have to separate the thread.

One of JJ's most underrated qualities is his ability to cut to the basket and score. We would jump for freakin' joy those rare times somebody (usually Willie) somebody cut to the basket. JJ will do that a lot more.

^greater conditioning will definitely benefit Paul so that he can perform at a higher level for more minutes on the court.

Team has a shooting coach, you want to limit the teaching voices. Redick doesn't need to do that. What he can do is influence the work ethic of a guy like Bullock and have him adopt similar off and in season shooting training.

Even Blake can do that. The amount of shots he's taking, the types of shots, that is, game shots, if those guys can pick up routines like that from him, that will be beneficial.

One of JJ's most underrated qualities is his ability to cut to the basket and score. We would jump for freakin' joy those rare times somebody (usually Willie) somebody cut to the basket. JJ will do that a lot more.

Dudley too, and people might not know that Dudley is also quite good at coming off screens and shooting. Excellent spot up shooter and quite good shooter off screens.

Also both Redick and Dudley are good 3PT shooters in transition, something the Clippers only had with Billups. Jamal hasn't really been a good transition shooter or player in general. The quick push and transition spot up ability opens up your transition offense too because after they make a three or two, teams are trying to find Redick and Dudley in transition, so now guys like Blake and DJ can outrun their man and when teams go try and help on the shooters instead of protecting the paint, the bigs get open shots going to the basket.

If that pic of Chris Paul is recent I am excited Paul has never been built that strong. I think the strength and condition coachingstaff sshould be doing overtime work making sure every player comes in stronger

This is the best shape I have seen CP3 post knee injury. I am not sure if he should be looking to put on more lbs/muscles though. He definitely should be working on building up his stamina but adding weight might make it harder on his knees/make him more prone to injury.

I just realized Redick's going to be wearing #4, his old Duke jersey number. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the first time he's finally had a chance to wear that number in the pros?

Yup! He couldn't wear it in Orlando because Tony Battie (veteran) had #4 and in Milwaukee #4 was retired in honor of Sidney Moncrief, so I guess now JJ is really happy to have his #4 back!

Reddick is a professional. Most NBA players seem to overestimate their abilities. Most think they are starters even when they prove otherwise. Reddick is blatantly honest with his self assesment, and it comes as a wonderful surprise because rarely in this day and age do you see an athlete that comes to terms with his abilities and accepts that role. I believe we have found the right guy for the starting Shooting Guard role.

That was a great interview with JJ, when he mentions the sets that Doc had going with Ray Allen it is really exciting to think of that coming to our team. I can't wait.

Hopefully we'll see a nice equal balance of JJ and Jamal. Jamal didn't really have to worry about playing time whether it was injured old Billups or less assertive Willie starting. Redick is talented, his game fits well with Doc's system, and he's aggressive...and he even plays better defense than Jamal. So realistically we should see more of JJ than we did Willie or Chauncey. I hope so anyway.

Doc's a smart guy, I'm sure playing time will be dictated by how well those guys are playing. But, unlike Chauncey or Willie, I would very much like to see JJ play in the 4th quarter of big games to see what he can do.

Anybody see this story popping up about Redick? It's about something that happened in his personal life between he and his model girlfriend while he was just a rookie. It's not even worth printing and should be categorized under "none of our business". Yet why is it popping up now? Just because he's now in L.A.? It ain't like he's running for President!

^ Yeah, hopefully he isn't distracted...there's plenty of time for him to adjust should this be, y'know, a thing. He's pretty good at playing well under duress. Still, what the hell, man?

Wow! Reading more about the lady involved has made me feel much better about this case. The same lady had, um, other run-ins with Shaquille O'Neal and Kenyon Martin!!!!

Ugh. Sorry I even mentioned this dreck to the forum. I was just worried about JJ and the impact it might have.

@JJRedick: I'd like to respond to the outrageous, false and malicious media reports regarding a prior relationship between myself and V Lopez in 2007-

@JJRedick: Ms Lopez was not and has never been pregnant with a child fathered by me.

@JJRedick: And Ms. Lopez did not and has never terminated a pregnancy of a child fathered by me.

@JJRedick: Continued attention to these lies is severely damaging to myself and my family. Thank you.

Anybody know what the hell he is talking about? Who is Mrs. Lopez?
