We should have a strong end of the regular season with 7 wins in a row to me - good way to enter the playoffs!

The Grammy trip is about two weeks earlier than usual. The road trip from January 17-27 is that particular trip; the Grammys take place on January 26th. The earlier date may have to do with the Winter Olympics.

Our schedule is very tough. The 2nd of back to back games that are on the road are very very very tough.

@miami 11/7

@OKC 11/21

@memphis 12/5

@brooklyn 12/12

@spurs 1/4

@pacers 1/18

@warriors 1/30

@denver 3/17

WTF!!! These are arguably 8 of the toughest playoff teams in the league! Plus Denver is very good at home.

Yeah I see that. Especially if OKC is sitting players by then. I don't love Denver and Portland to end the season because it's possible they may be still fighting for the 8th spot, but it's far better than the start of the season.

The first 15 games are insane. If there is any meshing problems for the team acclimating to the new look squad; I don't want there to be massive outlash if the team goes under .500 early on which I wouldn't completely write off. I still think we can get in the 52-60 win mark with this schedule. And sweep the Lakers again which I think we can all cheer too.

Wow guys! Summer almost gone.. just 2.75 months left until the season! Will be here before we know it. Also makes me happy because Fall/Winter are my favorite seasons so I have a ton to look forward to. Training camp is in September right?

That Warriors game will be great. Can't wait. I guess blowing out the Lakers will be mildly amusing too but I am not too interested in small fry. Razz

In 2013-14, the Clippers play 32 games where they have more rest days than their opponents, most in the league by 7 games.

Wow sounds like we FINALLY got a break in scheduling.

So we have TWO 7 game road trips

A 5 game road trip

Our longest home stand is 5 games, twice

we got 3 sets of 4 game home stands

Can't wait for season to start.

He didn't- I did. I'm waiting on the Clippers 2013 pre-season schedule- once I get it, I will add it to that schedule list as well.

Well it's a general consensus that even if the lesser time doesn't give a team a statistical advantage, if there is some outside variable of fatigue or jet lag, it'd be in our favor.

The only statistical terms I've seen about the matter was a reading about back to back games. Its noting point was that is that a majority of the back to back sets are played with a road game within it, making it an anomaly because teams don't win 40% of games as it is on the road. In fact almost 70% of them involve a road game in the second game of the back to back set. And of those 70%, less than 35% of them were wins. Just playing the odds, even if fatigue has little to do with it and away games are the true influence to statistical losses, it never hurts to have those sets in our favor.

Does anybody know what team The Association will be following this season? It'd be so awsome if they used the Clippers.

is there a downloadable schedule so i can put it on my S planner at all? anybody know?

I know ESPN has exports for google calendars and ical, but no direct S planner download.

You can usually sync google calendars to S planner, but make sure you have google calendar downloaded on all your devices and check the button for calendars from gmail account on your S planner, not simply samsung or else it won't sync.

You might love S Planner so I don't really want to suggest it, but google calendars alone may be more convenient if you do a lot of online exports.

Site if you can't find it:

The 1st part of the schedule is brutal, until new year. January and March are pretty nice. Finishing 5 of the last 6 at home is nice, too, to build momentum.

I'm too lazy to look up the whole schedule. Which Western Conference team are we facing only 3 times besides Memphis and San Antonio? I believe there are 4 non-divisional teams within its own conference that each team faces 3 times instead of 4.

Portland, and Utah are the other two teams we only play three times. Those should all be pretty good teams, Utah might be suspect but has good young talent, it could be really beneficial if we get the series against Memphis and San Antonio (as well as the other two) and could have seeding implications in the end.

Portland with Mo will be very good off the bench. The bench scoring was their big weakness.

Which game will be the biggest game of the regular season?

In my opinion, it's the Christmas game @Golden State.

Besides the fact that both the players and fans not getting along (I swear if I see their bench mock ours one more time I'll freak), the game will be a televised Christmas game with a lot of viewers and against a rival team that we could not beat on the road last season (went 1-3 total) that's improved its starting lineup this offseason. Plus being in late December it'll give us an early understanding of how the teams stack up in the west with fully gelled rosters. Not to mention it'll be the start of a 7 game stretch over 11 days, with TWO sets of back to back away games (GSW/POR and DAL/SAS).

Fun Stat: The Clippers had 8 sets of back to back away games last season and though they had a winning record (9-7), the first game decided the outcome of the second game (i.e. A win in the first game meant a win in the second game or vice versa) 7 out of 8 times. It'll be an important game and a fun one to watch.

I think the league wants us to be in shape for the playoffs and looking at the schedule again I say we finish with 13 wins out of the last 15 games and potentially 16 out of the last 20 depending on injuries and problems of course. If we examine the other favorites, OKC might actually have a difficult run in the last 2-3 weeks with 6 away games out of their last 8 and I can't see them winning more than 3 games in April. I think based on the schedule we could be edging OKC for a higher seed in April (probably for the second or third seed)

12 sets of back-to-back and the early schedule is loaded with games against great teams. Make it to the all-star break and the rest of the season shouldn't be difficult at all.

12 back to backs isn't too bad at all. That Is pretty respectable.

Pre Season schedule looks fairly easy. Still excited though, since it'll be nice to see the beginning of how Doc Rivers want this team to look.

not playing the flakers in preseason is a first. we alway play them at the start of the season. most of you wanted memphis. that wasn't gonna happen. not next season either. wow! we NEVER go to sacramento at the start of november. i'm shocked we have a lot of road game in november. we usually have very few. mainly at home. i guess time for a change.

I was just checking out our Dec schedule and I can see us going 13-2 with losses coming to Spurs & Nuggets.

Am I being too optimistic? I don't think so, I see yesterdays game as a bit of an annomoly. I feel the Pacers got a majority of the 50/50 balls & calls. Not to mention JJ was out, CP3 misses two from the elbow late a shot he WILL make 80+% of the time. All of this and we still had a realistic shot of beating them.

I'm seeing Doc's long term game plan get clearer and clearer each game. I continue to believe he is by far the best coach we've ever had, not to mention the rest of the coaching staff is the best back ups we've ever had collectively.

If Bullock steps up his game like he did against Indy, I could totally see us going 13-2

We still have a great team and when Barnes comes back he should be healed from all his previous lingering injuries, so he should be back to his old ways soon.

Sucks that schedule gets a bit easier in terms of opponents right when everyone starts dropping. Rockets are starting to put it together.

At Golden State will be tough. At Memphis could be, depending on whether ZBo plays. If he is out, they will be real thin down low.

Also, we have Portland on the second of a back-to-back on the road, so that could be tough (i realize Portland has had an easy schedule, but still...).

I would be thrilled with 12-3, but at the same time I think that is a reasonable expectation.

March and April are looking pretty friendly for us. I think we could storm into the playoffs on a pretty nice roll.

@InsideHoops: Best #NBA records: Pacers 16-1, Blazers Spurs and Heat 14-3, Thunder 12-3, Rockets 13-5, Clippers 12-6.

@BA_Turner: @mr_jasonjone: The Kings are Clippers are tied for having the toughest strength of schedule to start the season, based on opponents' records
