I can't agree with you on this. I appreciate that this is season ticket holder's that RENEWED EARLY only not all season ticket holders. To blanket all season ticket holders as well off and not a real fan is a bit unfair. This is not just a scrimmage game it is also the meet the team event where we will have opportunity to meet players and staff.

In the past years they held a separate meet event at the CA Science museum and that venue got way too small for all the new season ticket holders.

I am fellow Jurupa Valley resident in Eastvale. We should get together sometime for a drink and watch some away games.

That sounds good to me. My schedule is basically free in the late afternoon and evening. I am trying to get a viewing party set up at Dave & buster's at Ontario mills for all of our inland empire fans, so call me if you want at 909-509-2119, or any other way.

I'm in for the Ontario Mills meet. Until school starts in January I can even do it weekly or every other week probably if it's at the Mills.

I just called the Galen Center. It's definitely season ticket holders only. Sad

If you pay all that money for season tickets, you should get little perks. Clips are a business, can't blame them. But those scrimmages being free were good promotion to attract new fans. You can always give STHs some event to meet players or some behind the scenes thing

Anybody going please take some notes for us and share! We would be so grateful. Tell us who looked focused, any player interactions... anything that stands out basically.

In the past, the first however many season ticket holders through the door got wristbands to take pics with and get autographs from the players after the scrimmage.

You're awesome Page, appreciate it. I mainly want the inner scoop into player interaction, who seems to be the leader etc haha. Like personality related stuff. Blake looked just as timid as ever last preseason game, I'll be so disappointed if he doesn't step up this year.

But I do agree is t is BS not letting everyone attend that can make it. I would hate to see us being known as an elitist team as the Fakers are. The exact reason I became a CLips fan, to get away from that mindset.

the guys are doing 4 on 5 drills. Doc has timed drills that will rehearse everything we may encounter from other teams

I'm still annoyed about the Reggie Bullock thing. What kind of "sore knee" holds you out of basketball practices/scrimmages and games for two weeks? This kid needed training camp and preseason more than anybody on our roster probably.

Sounds like something more serious than a sprained knee. Perhaps tendinitis or a strained ligament.

If only our training staff elaborated. Last year a bone bruise supposedly held Hill out like 5 months lol...

I don't think we can compare a rookies healing abilities to a 40 year old veteran who's been through hell and back with injuries. I bet Bullock will be suited up on opening night.

Supposedly Amundson gave a hard foul on Griffin to end the game. Blake looked like sh** I hear too.

Dammit! This better not be a big deal! It may be time for Blake to invest in some Ewing-style knee pads. Mad

Guys what I can tell you is that the team practiced for over 30 minutes before allowing the season ticket holders inside. They then started timed drills and finished off with a game of the first unit vs second unit. They played briefly (time wise it may have only been a full quarter).

It almost paralleled mondays game with DJ shinning, and Green and Jamison looking solid. Mullens was still chucking shots, but one key difference between today and Monday was that Blake went to the paint more, at least he seemed to try a different strategy other than shoot brick after brick.

Collison did make some great passes, but his open men did not finish times so his passing at least was clean.

Dudley still was a non factor, so I'm really worried about his fit. Also, there seems to be such a lack of shooting on this team despite all these acquisitions I expected more completions.

Well, it would help if Redick played! lol

So, is the Blake injury thing blown out of proportion?

So there isn't anything wrong with Blake's knee? What r some of u talking about. I'm confused as hell right now.

Did Blake suck again tonight?

I didn't hear about this at all. After the game we rushed over to take pictures with the players and my group got to take a pic with Collison, DJ, Dudley, and Davies. The players left the court promptly to take pics so I never saw Blake hobble or get assisted off the court.

I hear Blake had 6 points and 3 rebounds for the Blue Team halftime of the scrimmage. Wayns had 6 points also at half for the White Team. Unofficial leaders at the end were Collison with 8 points, Blake with 4 rebounds and CP3 with 4 assists.

They didn't play a full game tonight so don't put much stock in anything. I can tell you that Blake didn't make the same mistake that Mullens continues to make. Blake knew his shot was off Monday, so today he took less shots and dunked more.At the end of the game (first vs second)unit the score was only 23-22, so time wise it amounted to about one quarter...the srimmage was mainly drills showing the audience how the team prepares in practice.

Did Amundson even deliver a hard foul to Blake at the end of the game?

Wayns did look good tonight. I'm glad you brought him up. he had good shot selection. Unfortunately, the only screen I was able locate there was one with the score and time, and it was totally weird because it was set to USCs practice colors because one team was Listed as red and the other as black even though our teams were split into white vs. blue jerseys

This would be true if we had a surplus of people, but loyalclipfan is right. Not all seats were taken. The FO should have let the general public attend this one. There were plenty of seats

BG32 walked off the court with a noticeable limp after the scrimmage.

I didn't hear about it. part of the problem is that my wife and I rushed over to get in line for pics, and so did the players. During a regular game they stop it to check on the player, but since the scrimmage was so short they didn't need to stop anything. I didn't observe or hear anything about Blake

I was there and like someone else said they had about an hour or so of practice drills. Then they played a 2 period scrimmage. Starters against bench for the most part.

The bench was winning by 2 and the starters had the ball with 6 seconds left and Blake went for a dunk and came down awkward and slid out on his back. He grimmaced and held his left knee. He got up on his own and then shot 2 free throws but was definitely limping a lil. It seems like he will be fine but I would not be surprised if he misses a few games just by the look on his face.

Scrimmage was great experience and we were given random 4 color wrist bands when we walked in. Then at the end depending on the color, you got to take a pic with a group of players. My group was Hollins, Wayns, Mullens and CP3:)

I agree that they should have kept it open for all fans, but I think the justification is that the season ticket holders pricing has gone up so much over the last few years that they try to make these events exclusive.

Either way I was impressed with DJ. I have been concerned with him, but I think Doc is really pressing him to fulfill his potential!
