That's all CP though, he doesn't like to run, so Doc will be the first coach to get him to push pace if it happens. The bench pushed the pace, the starters didn't.
Yup, really nice to see him analyzing all the games, taking all the good, seeing what can be better and going from there. It seems like common knowledge to do that, but you'll be very surprised that many coaches just come in and try to build everything from scratch with their own system.
This way allows for continuity of what was good and improvements on other areas.
Vinny didn't have good out of timeout / out of bounds plays, Doc can improve on that a lot.
Vinny wasn't able to get CP to run, Doc might be able to do that (and I think CP is working on his conditioning, I think that's what he was referring to when in an interview he said "I know what I'm working on" in regard tot he off-season but didn't want to reveal it).
Vinny wasn't able to get the team to defend down the stretch, Doc should be able to do that.
Vinny didn't use much mis-direction in the offense, it was very predictable, though of course it worked because Paul and Blake are that good. Doc should use more mis-direction, more of the "third side of the court" stuff and help open up the offense.
Vinny didn't specify where and how he wants Blake attacking, Doc is trying to get him in what he believes will be his most effective spots.
