I think so. I think like always in the NBA injuries will happen and he will make the most of his opportunity and step up, earning some time. If Doc is as smart as he seems.. he will understand that 33 year old's like Crawford/Barnes aren't the future of this team. He needs to slowly give Reggie burn too so he can develop to take over the SG or SF spot in a couple years. Or at least be our 6th man.

He will definitely get some minutes. He's such an intense defender, and with the rigors of the NBA season one of our shooting guards will need rest or will have some minor injury. I remember at one point in the regular season CP3 and Bledsoe were down at the same time. That led us to bring up Malik Wayans and Dajuan Summers to fill in

I also think he'll get some play time. From what I could see during the summer league, he looked to be in great shooting form and had the confidence to shoot freely and wisely.

I definitely see him getting minutes, I made the comparison to Jimmy Butler and thought he could be similar just a better shooter. I do think he will be brought along slowly but minutes in blow outs, when players get banged up, and earn more chances from there.

He'll definitely get the minutes, just how many is the question.

My best guess is somewhere between 700-800 minutes.

its kind of difficult. we know the guy can ball, and we want to see him get experience, but if he does that means something bad like a starter went down. so in a way you kind of hope he doesn't see minutes.

We had a lot of blowout wins last seasons. We'll have more this season!

It's a steal if he is our 6th man in his 3rd season. If he develops into Jamal's role or a starter, that will essentially allow us to sign an extra midlevel player. For the next 4 years he's barely over a minimum player. He ends up being good, he's a very valuable pick up.

I expect around 10 mpg unless we get hit hard by the injury bug.

10MPG seems fair, 7-8MPG seems like that would be the low ball, more accurate guess and 15-17MPG would be the max he'd be getting ( due to injuries or he randomly just gets plugged into the rotation ALL the time ).

I just hope for some solid and consistent play. This draft was weak, Reggie looked good but we have to be real now, if he was a great player, he woulda been picked higher. Not saying he sucks, and even bad drafts can have good or great players picked in random spots, we just need to hope that at least, he turns into a 15-20MPG player for at least 5-6 years. That is a win right there. If he goes beyond that, we hit gold with that pick. but from what I have seen and heard, he's got the abilities to carve out a bench role, and it's up to him to take those abilities further to get a 6th man or starter role and prove to the other 20+ teams that didn't draft him that they should have.

Considering how terribly soft our defense is and how lacking it is...I wouldn't be surprised if Reggie becomes our backup 4. He'd probably defend the position better than anyone not named DeAndre Jordan.

3-7 mpg early on with potential for up to 10 if there are injuries or roster problems.

Right. Because Deandre's a better defender than Blake. roll

Our defense wasn't soft, it just wasn't smart. People had bad rotations and helped at the wrong times which made teams destroy us with 3s. We had no system

10 mpg from where? He's a third stringer. My guess is be gets 2-3 mpg early on. If he impresses in practice, one of our wings will get moved at the deadline for a solid defensive big man and Reggie will be plugged into a backup spot.

Lol, is that a worse thing to say than to imply that Reggie will play PF?

Reggie will get minutes, the question is whether or not he will be in the rotation. He will at least average 5-10 mpg on garbage minutes alone, but working him into the rotation will take some clever planning from Doc.

I don't see him getting much playing time unless our wing players get hurt.

I think he is going to get serious time towards the end of the season. Jared Dudley is solid but he doesn't have much upside. Bullock on the other hand has a lot of upside and I could see doc recognizing that especially since he is such a hard worker on both sides of the court and a good rebounder.

Possible depends on his development but who's minutes would he take?
