Repped High Quality Post

I'm really getting tired of him - I don't want to hear how he is "more comfortable" or prefers starting...bottom line is he isn't going to. It just makes him look like a malcontent. When he signed with he team, he knew his role was 6th man...did he think that would only apply one season?

It is really interesting how dynamic of a thing skill is in basketball. At first, Jamal didn't want to become a catch-and-shoot player who heavily utilized screens, now he is going to have to to be effective in this new offense. If he truly has basketball skill and is not just a specialist (1 on 1 type skill), then he should be able to adapt and still be valuable this season.

Jamal Crawford has hit some daggers in Catch-And-Shoot situations and coming off screens. Remember, Ray Allen was not a spot-up shooter before he was traded to Boston. Ray was a killer off the dribble, and when he came into Doc's system he had to adjust his game around the offense. Jamal Crawford won't have any problem adjusting his game to this new offense because the dude is an absolute baller.

Ray Allen was still an excellent spot up shooter before Boston and a lot of his game was playing off screens, just that he did more on the ball action, but he still had that in Boston if the first option broke down

I kind of agree with you, but since camp started you have to admit the vibes seem more positive.

Gotta rep you for using the word "malcontent", though. One of my favorite words, and you're classing up the joint! Well played, my man.

If only Crawford could shooting with the accuracy like Ray...he would be a HOF'r, LOL. Hope it works out for him and the team this season.

"A poor player

That struts and frets his hour on the stage

And then is heard of no more. It is a tale

Told by an idiot. Full of sound and fury

and signifying not a MFing thing"

Stolen from Macbeth. Don't tell me this sh*t ain't got class.

Let's see if he'll be effective in this new role/scheme. If not, package him for a quality big and give Bullock some burn.
