"Calls, missed shots, not playing well, executing, it creates frustration," Rivers said. "That's a good thing, but you have to move to the next play. The clock keeps ticking. There's no four-second timeout so you can get over the frustration as a group. You have to keep playing. We have to get them to see that."

This is exactly why we all wanted Doc. He's really going to pound them for those mental lapses, constant whining and overall diva attitude. They really need to cut all that bullsh** out. Today after the game Doc said he was upset about how the starters were mad about a blown call and hung their heads.. and it cost them the game.

That's the coach we spend $7 millions dollar for. He's the top of the food chain. If Vinny was still coaching, Vinny would just ignore it and say "Let's have fun guys".

Reggie for the win, lol

A bigger percentage of the NBA coaching job after you have talent is player management. People can sometimes loose sight of that.

Repped High Quality Post

Yeah Blake had a whinning moment at the scrimmage game yesterday when one of the ref caught him traveled on one of his play and he could not Let it go. Even JJ Redick was explaining to him that he did dragged one of his foot. He needs to stop whining and have to keep playing. This is a good thing that Doc doesn't baby our players like Vinny does, eventually Blake will learn how to be tough.. Yeah Blake Griffin is soft.. mentally but not physically. Overall Blake is in good hands, he will learn how to become tough when it comes playoff time as long as Doc is there with him

^ Ah okay. Well I'm sure Blake initially thought "whatever" when he turned away, but then though, "meh, maybe I did travel". That's usually what happens when I don't want to hear something. lol

I saw that. My wife and I were shocked that even at a scrimmage game Blake was arguing and whinning about calls

Great info, repped. This is the kind of stuff I wanted to hear about Very Happy. Sadly enough ON the court Blake may be our most immature player by far, even more than Jordan. This is just downright sad that going into his 4th season he still hasn't matured in this way.
