Interesting. I think this is a good idea. Too many players keep playing until they are washed up role players and family should always be a top priority. Not to mention with his knee injury history he would literally not be able to walk without pain if he played until he was 40.

I think what he means by retiring early is that he won't play until he is a washed up role player in his late 30s or early 40s. I think around 35 is a good time to retire. I think he will be an elite player until his early 30s.

Chris seems to be a better father than he is a basketball player. And he's a pretty damn good basketball player.

He's saying he's going to go out on top (probably 34 or 35), not retire in two years or anything lol.
