I want to make an honourable mention to the lineup of Collison, Jamal, Green, Jamison and Hollins for this game to recognize their effort. They won it.

Toohip would like to add two new categories.

  1. Best white guy of the game.

There were actually more than one in the running Imported white guys don't count. In case there are no white guys, the number one cheerleader will walk down the bench checking every player's stuff. The one ---------------------- becomes the designated white guy.

  2. The player most resembling a duck with his as* on fire.

This award is usually easily garnered by Hollins buy today's wlnner is (drum roll please) Byron Mullens. Neither he nor Hollins have the strength or co ordination to be within two feet of a rebound. Mullens' random arm flappings today were so good that I thought he'd take flight. But let's give him some time.

Agreed, for a guy that's missed 2 months or so, JJ looked good. Duds was finally filling it up. I think DC is our dark horse this year.

The one guy I'm sorely disappointed in is Byron, I just was thinking (hoping) he could come in and drain a couple threes and grab a couple boards. Am I imagining this or has he gone like 0-12 from behind the arc.

Having a big that needs to be respected from behind the arc will pay HUGE dividends come playoffs, especially should we be up against the Whizz again. Absent that threat, we could see the same game plan utilized again. Albeit with different results (hopefully) with Duds & JJ with us.

I also noticed we did a much better job of transition D last night in the second half. Doc must have gotten after the guys in the locker room. All & all a decent game for us, can't wait to see matty take the floor and what his presence does for the 2nd unit.

Good for Blake for posterizing the rookie who was punking us.
