Relations between coach Don Nelsons and Baron Davis were already strained. Baron's relationship with the front office was strained by the inability to get his extension. Now we know why. The warriors made a Max style offer to Gilbert Arenas of 5 years 101 Mil, immediately, the very minute that free agency opened. They disrepected Baron. This all leads one to believe that the rumors about Baron Davis jumping ship and signing with the Clippers, or another team, could be true. His days as a Warrior might be over. Even if the Arenas offer doesn' t fly, the offer sent a message to Baron that he is no longer their #1 target. Baron Davis a Clipper? Suddenly seems more like a possibility.

    Wow- that's a big diss....

The Clippers need to get Baron- just get it done- it would be huge for the team. Then get EB signed of course. Maggette won't sign for the MLE but give him the $10 mil/year that he wants. Sterling will pay some luxury tax but we will be a championship contender immediately.

I really hope Baron is contemplating wearing the Clipper's jersey and is serious enough to leave GS. The problem lies in the waiting process. If we make the wrong move and wait too long can you say...."Knight 2.0"?

Hopefully MDsr. is talking to Davis as we speak. Maggette is too dumb to stay with the Clippers. If he was smart he would see one hell of a kick ass starting line-up with Davis and jump at the chance to comeback. I don't think he has the sense because he is to selfish of a player. He wants the $10-12 mil contract in Orlando that is impossible to workout. If Maggette doesn't take a pay cut it looks like Phili or Memphis is gonna be his new home, if they are even interseted. No one else has cap space for him, except through maybe a sign and trade. Those are hard to come by. MDsr. You better be kissin' Davis' ass right now. GET HIM DOWN HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
