Good read, spot on. Pretty much what many of us having noticed for years, still happening which was my first thought tonight in the 1st quarter. See at least in the Lakers game we led all game until a few minutes into the 4th when we got lazy. This game was a blast from the past where we let a lesser team punch us in the mouth and pretty much outplay us all game.

Doc will see this and hopefully will find a way to address it, nip it in the bud.

How many times do the Clippers have to get a reality check?

I still sense a lack of immaturity with this group. I thought they learned their lesson in game 1. Apparently, we have to through this enigma all season

I think we have to understand it's early in the season and the team is adjusting to an entirely new system. No reason to overreact. We just need to maintain a winning record until we've finally reached that point where we're playing at our best on both ends of the court.

The Clippers do play down to their competition, no doubt. However, if you look at our first four games we went 3-1, that's a 75% win percentage, which is amazing. Even more astounding than that start is the fact that two of those wins came from the Western elite. Golden State is 4-1 and so is Houston. We are bound to lose some to lesser teams, but as long as its not a regular thing we should be fine. My concern is just making sure that this team can move on emotionally from a loss. I want to see some wins after every loss, so can prove that we can move on from adversity. Next game will reveal a lot.

That's a good point. I reckon Doc will be on this for sure. He mentioned something about this at training camp.

Doc did have everybody over for dinner the night before. Maybe everyone was just a little too relaxed before the game. lol

or maybe the roster just isn't good enough? or blake griffin isn't able to score in the post? Match-ups people.

It really pisses me off because every game is worth about the same except in the case of tie breakers and winning against someone in your division.

Haha a lack of immaturity would be a great thing but I think you meant lack of maturity. It's no different than any other team learning new systems and playing with new people. Gotta feel it all out. I'm not really surprised. As long as we get Miami tonight it will be worth it.

Either that or it's the curse of Jameson already acting out haha
