ye no **** sherlock, you missed the conversation, that wasn't the point i was trying to make
Duncan and Ginobili are old but they aren't washed up, Duncan and Ginobili play because they are still great players, not because they are more experienced and their coach is afraid to put young players on the court, if the Spurs younger players are good enough, they play. Using old guys that are obviously good and producing is different than using ones that are clearly past it at the expense of younger players on the bench that are clearly better.
Granger, Dudley and Butler....
Saw it on Twitter got excited proceeded to do more research and couldn't find much on it. Most likely I jumped the gun.

Jamal dudley and bullock for hill and Copeland. We get some defense at the 2 and some length at the 3.

Hill as in George Hill? Don't the Pacers just have one starting caliber PG, and that is Hill? Lol
EDIT: I realized that you're probably referring to Solomon Hill, in which case is he really any better than Bullock?

By the time Paul George comes back hill would be a free agent. The Pacers aren't competing any time soon. They might want to get rid of him. plus, mostly every pacer fan I've talked to dislikes hill as their point guard.
I think you misread it but in the proposed trade we'd be sending over Crawford dudley and bullock. I think that's about the same, salary wise. Yeah I wouldn't mind going after Miles but that 4 year deal us too long

If Jared Dudley became the Jared Dudley of old why in the hell would we trade him? He would be exactly what we need (outside of athleticism), but he'd be seriously efficient shooter and solid rebounder.

If Dudley came back to his regular form I'm all in for keeping him. But that's still an unknown. I really like Copeland though he played pretty good for the Knicks in the playoffs.

LOL, the lack of punctuation got me. You wrote Jamal dudley and bullock, so I read Jamal dudley as Jared Dudley, lol
I still wouldn't want to pay $8M to George Hill. Why would we trade Jamal when we aren't getting a good SF back? If we just wanted a good SG defender, there are guys we can get by giving less who are more sized for SG too.

Haha sorry about that.
Yeah that is true though. I still wouldn't mind going after Copeland though. He has some good size and a pretty good shot.

I dunno how many people here follow the clippers on snap chat but they put up a clip of Duds putting in work this morning and he looks to be in better ish shape than last year. not quite as chubby

I saw a pic of it. He's looking pretty slim.
The chances of him losing a ton of weight and not having tendinitis and still being just as bad as last year are very slim.
Atleast he's putting in the work on the BBall court rather than the food court. That's more than I can say for him last offseason.

Dudley looked pretty slim from the little I saw of him. We don't need him to morph into an all star just be able to make positive contributions consistently throughout the season. If he could give us 24 great minutes to go with Barnes 24 great minutes we would be ok.
