Wasn't real happy with DJ's defense tonight. I feel like I watched some slow reactions by him while dudes were scoring at the basket. Seems like he was much quicker in preseason. I don't want to see what we've seen from him before....a great start, then reverting back to his old ways.

Some are missing something. OKC the second biggest (?) offensive juggernaut had 63 points at half and we shut them down. We cannot complain. A spectacular bun toasting. Using CP as off guard and Collison as PG on Westbrook was great. He should have had 20. His shot is off.

We showed poise grit and heart. We should be proud of our boys. When they are in sync nobody will be able to touch our starters + Jamal by Feb

Its a pick your poison type thing there was no way to defend the rim and help players getting beat off the dribble every time. If we over helped guys got open passes at the rim for buckets. Dudley and later Bullock dug in later in the game and made rotating easier. The Bullock defense into DJ block was epic huge momentum shift. Then kept it extra aggressive with shootersto close out the game.

It's also the NBA, where most guys can't be stopped one on one. I don't think some of you guys realize that the guys you go up against night in and night out are great players too. You can play perfect one on one D in the NBA and guys are still going to score.

Anyone have the link to Doc's and Blake's post game comments?

Has anyone watched the Nets this season? Are they bad? They've only won 2 so far.

I presume KG and PP are going to put that much more in against Doc but could this be an easier game for us, we could do with one.

I wonder if Doc is riding these guys too hard in practice. Blake doesn't sprint with the same quickness on offense (not complaining, he's playing great) and he looked downright exhausted late in the game. Paul and JJ miss shots down the stretch and we know tired legs can affect jumpers. In the middle of the game they showed a pre-recorded interview with Paul and he was all sweaty, obviously from practice or a work out. I did read that Doc has them going through "playoff practices" already.

I suppose they will be better in the long run if that's the case.

clutch scoring actually can be overrated because it is usually based more on perception and confirmation bias than any actual facts, but neglecting that, this is the definition of a strawman argument, lol

I loved the fire Blake showed after a play that seemed to give the Clippers some momentum with just over 2 minutes left in the game. Shows that even though some call BG aloof at times, he really wants to win.
it's counter to sound logic for anyone to actually seriously think Blake doesn't want to win or doesn't work hard. Honestly, it is.

Wow great win!!! Love how the bench came in and played with heart.

Now you reggie bullock haters have to give him some credit his d was very solid against Durant and he rebounded well made some ft's to extend the lead. He deserves some more minutes. I think his shooting comes once be gets more comfortable, I love his shooting stroke though and really quick release.

Bullock does not have any haters, what in the world are you talking about, lol

That Is true that may have been a factor. I understand the importance but I would like our players to be well rested too.

Good news is they have a couple of days rest before facing Brooklyn at home. Well deserved! I'll tell you what, the way our schedule has been, to go 6-3 is pretty damn good. Especially considering I don't think we're even close to where we can be!

Brooklyn is also undergoing adjustments due to a new roster + coach but they look like utter crap. Like 5x worse than us. D. Will looks like a D league caliber PG right now. Sad how much he has fallen. I never considered him on Paul's level but he used to be a top 3 PG.

He got so slow and his poor jumper isn't helping

Deron Williams fall reminds me of B Diddy. It was so sudden and quick.

I'm late to the party, but what a great win! Down by what 14, 15 in the first half, then having that terrific third quarter & finishing things off in the 4th nicely. Great game by Blake Griffin- scoring, rebounding, play-making & tenacity going after the ball. CP was off with his shot, but was a great floor general. I liked how Doc Rivers had Collison on Westbrook at times even though CP was out there. Guarding that guy can just wear you out, so it's great to have a quick player like Darren to help out. JJ was off but made some big shots in the 3rd. Jamal made some big shots throughout the game & good assists as well. DJ a solid game esp. in the second half manning the paint.

So a nice game vs an elite team despite all the turnovers. OKC got so many deflections like they knew the passes were coming before they were thrown- so perhaps something to improve upon there.

Btw, there was a point even after Ibaka was ejected where Durant, Westbrook and company were smiling and nodding and acting like they had the game all taken care of. So glad we wiped those smiles off their faces.

LOL, I don't know if there is a more loved Clipper than Bullock, maybe Willie Green?

He has a new injury issue every year, that is his problem. When he was healthy last season, he was very good.

D. Will just seems out of shape and injury prone right now. Every time he seemingly recovers from an injury he gets banged up again. He had a nice stretch post ASG last season but he isn't consistent at all anymore.

Just watched the Thunder game back. When Ibaka got thrown out it really took the sting out of OKC without their 2 starting bigs. I wonder how the game would of played out if Matt and Ibaka had stayed on court? It wasn't looking great for us at the time though there was a whole half left to play. The re-match will be interesting.
