RealGM is reporting via the LA Times, that an unnamed source is reporting that the Clippers, if they can not get Davis, is prepared to trade Cat Mobley to the Knicks for Jamal Crawford. Jamal went for 21 PPG and 5 APG last season in 39 minutes. I can't imagine the Knicks would go for this trade unless there is more to it that just getting an aging Cat Mobley in exchange for top PG who is in his prime.

Wow that would be a pretty good trade for us- we'd probably need to give up more than just Cat, however.

Mobley's contract expires when Lebron is supposed to hit the FA market, and Crawford's deal might run longer (not sure). It would be a financial move for cap space (from the Knicks perspective).

Now that we have Baron, we don't need a ballhog like Crawford. Had we not gotten BD, I would've gone for it cause Crawford is a better player than Cat. But Cat doesn't need to dominate the ball like he does.

Baron would create alot of open shots for Cat.

Sorry, CLIPS need a 6'6 defender to defend the likes of Kobe, and Tracy, and Durant

Like who? I would love Ross back, as he has shut down people as big as Carmelo in addition to smaller players. Posey would also fit this mold...
