At least Charles wasn't too brutal calling the game. Even he seemed to think the refs were hosing us.

  1. I hope we never see the Grizzlies and the Thunder in the playoffs

  2. Refs love them so much

  3. This game demotivated the hell out of me

  4. I think it may be time to make a trade or something. This team isn't going to get beter defensively with the players we have now.

He's listed at barely over 200 lbs. He should be in the 220s-230s. Small forwards are so much bigger nowadays. Small forwards who can play SG are a dying breed now. Now your small forward has to be able to play PF instead.

Oh I thought you were talking about height. He weighs very little since he is a rook. Usually rooks come in underweight for the NBA and bulk up over time.

Honestly we all know his shot is off, but I actually like his work ethic in the game.

he keeps moving, hustling, and trying. One thing I have noticed is he gives 100% effort.

Unfortunately when your main job is to shoot and you can't hit the side of a barn, most of that stuff gets overlooked.

Our biggest hole right now is DUDley.. He just isn't there and it might be injury, but sometimes I wonder if he has brain damage with some of the plays he makes.

I'm not against starting reggie at the 3 and see what happens.

Because one this we know about rookies is they are fighting for a chance, so his energy will be 100%

Man, I'm worried bout this team. The bench is just horrible. When they're on, I'm just hoping they can keep an even point differential.

Defense is atocious, the best Dman is probably Hollins. Offense is terrible since Collision doesn't know how to play PG. 80% of the time it's Crawford vs 5 opponents.

I miss last years bench....especially Bledsoe...and maybe even Odom. In fact I miss last years Crawford........ They need to start playing Willie Green and like Barkley said, they need another big...that can score and play D!!!

Missed the game. Looking at the stats- Jared Dudley with a +/- of -19, and just 1 Rebound in 34 minutes. What sort of joke is this? Redick 1 for 6 isn't going to get it done obviously, and Darren Collison a big fat 0-5 in 14 minutes. The little guy did double Dudley's rebounds in half the minutes roll.

Holy smokes this was one of the most frustrating games ever. I literally feel like I was watching VDN out there with the player rotations he was playing. There were many many times when Hollins was out there with Mullens or no other big and not one player was inside the 3 point line on offense. It looked like my terrible high school team where we couldn't run any plays and just jacked up shots. Needless to say we sucked. We desperately need another big who can post up and rebound!

Well glad Bullock got some minutes tonight. His defense was solid (got burned a few times), his shot wasn't falling tonight but some really good shot attempts. Now he just needs to slash a little bit and move some more. I really am liking what I see and think he will fit in well. J Dud had a few very nice passes and shots. A couple good defensive plays but he got burned and shot on like crazy! I think Bullock will make up for the lack of Barnes but we really need Doc to set up plays for our second unit. The Jamal ball just doesn't work.

How long do y'all think it'll take for us to ship Mullens+Jamison+Willie off for a big that can actually defend? Or what are our options in regards to Mullens? Can we just release him? Then sign LO and Jason Collins or some other out of work dude that won't look like he's just mouth-breathing while thinking about kittens.

I didn't get a chance to watch the game...again, at work.

I knew Redick would be cold tonight, just based on the 2nd of a back to back on the road. He'll bounce back soon. Next game no doubt. If he doesn't we'll KNOW he's slumping.

Happy to see Blake and Crawford play well. Blake's stat line looks ridiculous. I guess I was hoping Paul or Crawford would have a really aggressive night scoring...it was really the only way we were going to win.

I know everyone said all the right things about being greedy and wanting to take BOTH games on the road, but I wonder if deep down they were content with splitting it.

Dudley really really has to step it up. We can't have both our wing players sh*t their breeches on the same night. The sad part is Dudley has always been able to be effective without the ball, now it seems he's either setting a bad screen or unnecessarily fouling off the ball.

With all do respect, I don not know what game you guys were watching. I saw many HARD fouls committed by the Los Angeles Clippers today.

1) First foul committed in the game. JJ Reddick shouted "HEY!!" at the Durant shot attempt. 2)Later in game. DJ ran by the Durant shot attempt. The air hit Durant hard, no it hit him really hard. 3)Dudley got blown by Durant, but he shouted "help!" to his teammate and the scream hit Durant.

Let us not forget the "flagrant 1" foul by Paul. How dare CP put his face on Tabo's elbow. How dare he! That should be review by the league and Paul should be suspended for that.

Man, I am not so confidence about this team yet. OKC basically dominate us 6 out of 8 quarters this season. The 2 quarters Clipper dominate was without Serge Ibaka. I'm not going to use back to back or schedule loss as a reason. Something about their system is very flaw and need to fix those gap hole.

So I'm watching much of the game right now. Man, I'm just not sure about this defense. It seemed so easy for the Thunder to slip through what we were trying to do. If someone doesn't get to their spot at just the right moment, they get burned. I guess I'm just getting a little impatient with it.

Just watched the game. To me, this was a very winnable game. One big reason it was lost because the Clippers failed to convert numerous easy shots around the rim (or at least get fouled), leading to too many transition easy opportunities for the Thunder for open shots or layups. This, coupled way so many missed open jumpers by our wings & guards, pretty much was the ball game.

Defensively, definitely didn't like how the Thunder 2nd unit was getting so many easy shots driving to the hole against our reserves. The guards & wings MUST do a better job of preventing dribble penetration. The team overall got burned so many times by Thunder players just rolling the basket on give & go's & cuts. Kevin Durant is going to get his, but you can't be letting guys like Reggie Jackson constantly turn the corner on you, split traps, drive in & wreak havoc.

Blake Griffin with another excellent game, however. Great to see him assert himself in the second half. CP did well with another double-double, though I don't believe he scored in the 4th. DJ- not a good game with too many missed shots around the basket, & not making any of his foul shots. Jamal did okay, but Dudley & Redick missed too many open jumpers. You know it's not a good night when Jeremy Lamb outplays your starting SF & SG.

Repped High Quality Post

Clippers need a guy that can draw FTs. The league seems to like aggressive perimeter players attacking the hoop. Crawford is aggressive but he's not really a guy who attacks the hoop. Paul used to be aggressive early in his career, but that knee injury changed him. Or maybe the refs are bitches, OKC's bench had more FTA than our starters.

I think you nailed it on the head. This team is becoming way to perimeter focused and have forgotten how easy a lay up or free throw is. Slash and attack the rim and you get rewarded with fouls. Whenever Blake fades they won't give him a foul, same with our other players. You gotta go strong right at the rim.

Did anybody else feel like we couldn't get any penetration, while OKC was cutting through our defense like a knife through hot butter all night?

I think it might be too much to ask our bigs to really lock on when they have to worry about penetration and their man. We really don't have any good defenders on the team, we are hoping DJ and Blake evolve to them and they are making great strides; but lack a true perimeter defender. Maybe trading for Rush or Shumpert (don't think we got anything that will work in either trade). I really like Reddick, but really would have liked Afflalo.

This made me feel better about the team. Hou, GSW, SA, Minny & Portland all have mediocre to terrible strength of schedule so far & ours is the 2nd hardest only to Memphis so far. Add that to trying to Learn a whole new system & add 4-5 new rotation players & I think things will even out soon. And at least we can count on CP & Blake game after game now... It's everyone else that's killing me.

We have 2 guys in the top 20 in FTA's per game, Chris and Blake (wish they we're in the top 10). We are 5th in the league (27.3) in FTA's per game as a team. We are 25th in the league with a 71% in FT shooting.

We're getting to the line, we're just not that great at making them. Sad

Reading these comments the next morning and I'm not sure what is wrong with some of our players and coaching staff strategy. IF Dudley IS hurt, quit treating him like we did Ryan Gomes, ok? That is how it it looks to me right now, lol.AND while I am not a fan of playing down and dirty, couldn't Mullins at least use his size AND weight to be more intimidating when he is playing? Maybe show him a lot of Bill lambeer video highlights to show him what he could be, size wize, imho. And the way jj is missing, put in Willie green someone else instead, or am I the only one that thinks we are not using all of our players when some of our starting 5 are having an off nite?
