Freaking sucks but at least we have Willie and Bullock. We did pretty well with Willie starting last season.

Oh, no! This is awful. That prickhead Cousins ought to be penalized for that hard foul. I hope JJ recovers quickly.

Time for Willie to step up. Wasn't he part of the 17-game winning streak last year? Perhaps Clippers will repeat with Willie in the starting line-up. Good day to start another perfect December.

Willie Green is our Mr Ever Ready, he is a little bit slower than JJ but still can hit his shot.

should be interesting to see how we play without him but all is not completly lost, willie green has proved to be a solid player through his short time with us..

Yeah, the silver lining is that the injury is to our deepest spot.

This is scary! Kevin love never really recovered that season from a fracture and refractured it too!

Probably a trade. We'd freefall in the standings with either of those guys out for 2 months.

I had this similar injury.. Jj needs to take his time and recover and not do what kevin love did by playing ball in a short recovery time not to reinjure it again. Rehab is very important and vital key for getting your shot back specially its his shooting time but luckily this the nba and he will recover from his shooting like Kevin love did but it will take time and patience. Reggie can be good for us for his development and defense, mr. Pro willie green is always ready so we're okay

The good news is we're deep at the 2, though nobody on the team can do quite what Doc likes as much as JJ can. However, Willie has been good while starting. He even came out aggressive in the preseason, picking up where he left off at the end of last season.

I feel bad for JJ. This has been an ideal situation for him. And he was having his best season overall. Not so much from 3 (though I think that was going to go up over time). But points and overall FG%. He's been a great teammate. He's brought some fire and intensity and high basketball IQ to the team. Plus, he strikes me as a mentally tough dude so I know he'll bounce back once fully healed. Hopefully he'll be fully healed sonner than later.

Very disappointing nonetheless. I guess this was just too ideal. JJ fits so perfectly into this system, with Jamal rounding out one of the best SG duos in the league. Our Clippers apparently can't have too much of a good thing. Ugh! Anyway...

As if I couldn't stand Demarcus Cousins and Zach Randolph any more than I already do. Both have now taken out two important players.

Very bad news, but hopefully JJ heals up faster than projected. That was a scary fall and I'm surprised he didn't hurt his tailbone or neck. Willie should do fine like he always had.

Terrible news. Though I trust wet Willie to step up just like when Chauncey was down last year.

Doc just said in the live interview moments ago that JJ's movements make other components of the offense work better and we'll probably have to do things differently while Willie is out there. Between Doc and Alvin, we should be able to make some things happen...although to have to do that against the best defense in the league right now is gonna be quite the challenge.

This isn't as bad as people think. We still have Crawford whose explosive, Greene and Bullock if need be. I still have no doubt in my mind we will still be at the top of our division when he comes back.

CP3 is playing out of his mind, DJ is having a breakout year and Blake is doing really, really well.

This injury stinks, but Dudley has been overshadowed a bit and perhaps a few extra looks a game can get him going. Were still a very potent offensive team without Redick.

I just hope for our sake ( as in the fans ) they baby him back into playing form. Miami is taking extra special care of Dwyane Wade this season and other teams are doing the same crap with their own key players because the playoffs are going to be brutal, ESP out West. Our team needs to dial down the offense and focus a little more on D.

So theoretically, JJ could be back by late January, enough time to incorporate him back into the system. I sure hope it doesn't effect his shooting for some reason.

When I saw the injury I expected a fracture and about 2 months out. So I was

prepared for this. Jamal will get more playing time.

This is actually really annoying, not because the spots can't be filled, but because I don't want to see Willie Green trying to play SF again if Barnes is still out for some time.

We know Detroit Willie can hold his own like he did last year, and it will be nice to see Bullock develop more. He's been a good hustle guy so far, but it'll be extra sweet to see his shots drop like they were in summer league.

Luckily we're deep enough to take the hit, and it's early enough in the season that we'll have plenty of time to incorporate Redick back when he's healthy. Go Clips!

Willie will do fine. He was our best slasher last season when plays broke down. He might not be as fast as Redick, but he can hold his own. Free Willie!!!!!

That is why I never trust reports that say "x-rays are negative" because x-rays can't detect hairline fracture.

If Dudley were playing the way he's supposed to be, he should move to starter at SG and bring Barnes up instead of willie. I'm sure they'll try some different things but yeah at least we have some depth.

This is almost the worst injury possible though. Best shooter breaks shooting hand. 2 months and he's gonna miss something like 30 games and when he's cleared he hasn't shot a basketball in that amount of time. Now we don't have much margin for error with other guys getting dinged up. Hope Jamal can stay healthy until Feb.

As I said in the gameday thread,i fell just like that, landed like that, and shattered my wrist. Of course I slipped on a marble (really!), didn't get hit by an MMA fighter that got no penalty for being an arsehole.

This is a tough loss for an entire month. Think Reggie should start at SG as soon as Barnes comes back.

All I'm worried about is if he comes back the same... also disappointed to not be able to see what JJ could contribute in the next 6-8 weeks.

JJ Redick has been exciting to watch so far... damn.

He's apparently broken that wrist a couple of times before and came back with no problem. So if anyone has the confidence to shoot after the break heals, it's JJ.

I'd wager that Redick is equally important to our offense as blake (but not cp3). I think blake might be a season away from having a cp3-like impact consistently. Redick is the special sauce that makes our offensive attack lethal and special. Without him we have a middling defense (although improving) and a very good (but not amazing)offense. He was our prized acquisition this summer aside from doc. It is a big loss.

I know. Aside from Redick, Griffin is our only other consistent offensive contributor on the starting unit. We can't count on Dudley, DJ, and even Paul to give us the perimeter offense that Redick brings. In sundays game Paul tried to make some shots to tie the game in the fourth and he just doesn't shoot as well as he did early on in his career. He has grown so accustomed to distributing that he has lost his shot.
