LOL, that's kinda funny, but that seems unncessary. Of course context might be different from how Jackson says it because that's only one side. If they are having a discussion about minutes and Jackson is wondering why he isn't playing and Pop says "cause other guys are better" and tells him to just come to terms with that, it is a lot different from him just randomly telling him to admit that other guys are better.

Of course, they were better, but that is besides the point.

I bet Pop wasn't too pleased by those comments I quoted, in addition to this though:

In that video, Jackson tells former NBA player turned coach T.J. Ford, "This is my first time touching a basketball since the season's been over with." Apparently, that wasn't hyperbole.

"I been doing it so long, so when I go to training camp, I take those three weeks to get in shape," Jackson told Yee. "I really don't do too much to my body, so ..."

Stephen Jackson is a complete tool. That being said I don't think we are in any position to not take a skilled player because of an attitude problem. I'm sure he's been working out knowing he's a free agent.

Also he hates Serge Ibaka...soooo that's pretty cool.

Jax isn't much of a risk if we sign him now. He'll make no money, he'll know he's only signed because we have 3 injuries on the wing. If he cries about it when Reggie and/or Barnes come back to take his minutes, we can just waive him. However, what if he's good? If he meshes with the team and contributes, this could allow us to move Dudley or somebody else for a legit back up big. I'd love to get Amir or JThompson or somebody like those guys.

Good thing they didn't keep Davies or Lou in Oct. We're one of the only teams with a 13 man roster at this point and now it's a luxury. We can sign Jax or JHoward or some D-league kid and still have an open roster spot for Lamar or an uneven trade. And Wayns is expendable as well if we need another roster spot.

Crazy suggestion, but what about Seth curry? Can't he shoot well? He is just small. This would be to start in place of Willie

Actually Seth Curry Can Shoot, He just don't got the complete game like his brother But I think he's signed to Golden State (He's probably in developmental), If we didn't have Collison he would've been a good project at pg.

I hear they're looking at Steven Jackson, that's a nice pickup, I don't know how that'll go though, he was released by the Spurs last year because he didn't want to take a reduced role, but he is a really good pickup, but I don't know why Raja Bell isn't somebody to look for. Whoever they get I sure hope int's not Rip Hamelton, He can't shot like he once could, main reason he's not in Chicago and he can't help us on defense, If they don't care about shooting then they should go after Dahanty Jones or Terence Williams, or try and make a trade for Chace Buddinger, their's really quite a few options.

But if they sign anybody with the last roster spot, they need to get a proper backup big, Ryan Hollins is killing them.

Some of the things I don't necessarily like about Jackson, may be okay for the team right now. A little attitude and toughness (or fake toughness, whatever).

USATODAY has reported a deal with Jackson is close and that Jackson has expressed confidence in the deal on Twitter. I haven't seen the twitter message.

Sam Amick @sam_amick about 39 minutes ago With Stephen Jackson tweeting that "The wait is over," I'm told the Clippers are "very close" to signing him. Not done yet though.

Signing is one of those things that can turn out VERY good or VERY bad. Don't see much in between.

I love the signing of Jackson as long as he doesn't cause problems in the Locker room.Him and Barnes bring a lot of toughness to this team.Hope he works out.I like Dudley but he hasn't been good for us like I thought he would.Don't think we should rush to trade him but we are in desperate need for a big. Can't wait to see Jackson on the court. He has always been good in the playoffs which we really need.Always been a fan of his game and toughness but his attitude does worry me.

Solid defender too right? Of course he is 35 and hasn't played for a little bit.

I like it. Yeah Jackson can be an idiot but we need him. He still has some game and with the injuries this team has, we need whatever he can give us. Plus we can still add Odom later. I just hope he doesn't ruin the chemistry in the locker room(if there is any.)

Shannon Brown for sure! He's quick, athletic, 3 ball. Also he has played with Dudley, Odom, and Barnes. This guy would bring a lot of energy off the bench. I remember his hustle play with the l.a. Kobekers and how quick he can get hot. This might just happen (he has played for Mr. Gentry in Phoenix)

At this point, if we can get Jackson, I'll take him. Just need to make sure any contract we give him is limited in case he ends up being a personality cancer.

Yeah, at 35...Once JJ and Barnes get back in the lineup, he would have to be limited. Unless his overall game proves to be more valuable somehow than Dudley.

Jackson's a legit 6'8, which I like.

Well when picking from the bottom of the barrel, the expectations are low. As long as he doesn't chuck and plays some defense.
