Oh I get what you mean, but I just meant in the big picture view, it was more the foul drawing, in the last few minutes view, it was 3 pointers that helped to seal it.

Yep and D. Will and Pierce are back. D.Will dropped 25 on the Celtics so looks like he is healthy after missing so many games.

Glad for the win sucks i missed this one and DVR crapped. Sad Jordan didn't have bigger impact with size advantage and hope Blake's ankle does not swell up.

What? Did BG sprain his ankle or something?

Heard on the radio he tweaked it in the second half.

All depends on what he is traded for. I'm not against trading anyone not named Paul or Griffin for the right return.

Nice to see Dudley play the way we expect him to. Made some clutch plays at the end to seal it, too.

First game I missed this season. Glad we won. I know we are a sure in for the conference

finals. But I don't know if we can beat OKC in 7 game series yet. We'll see.

so far I would have to say no. Portland, OKC, and Spurs are looking much better than us. I think we may have a hard time getting out of the first round.

We are a work in progress so as we stand we'd be lucky to get out of the 1st round but where we'll be by the PO's we don't know yet. Our defence should be better by then for a start. Our offense seems to have really suffered from not having JJ so if he comes back and gets up to the same form that will be a major boost. If Barnes can get back to last years level that will also be a major plus. We hopefully will get another decent back up big as well, and Reggie is an unkwown factor.

None of that is including how CP and Blake are playing or if they are healthy or how much the team has adjusted to the new sytstems or how much those systems are aimed at PO basketball. So basically what I am saying is that there are a shedload of variables and it is way to soon to assess how we are going to do in the PO's. Do you think Doc is?

variables are always a factor, and we can only base predictions off of what we have seen. even with a healthy squad I didn't quite see this team as an elite team. can this change, yes, but so far I havent seen anything thus far to make me think we will get out of the first round. hopefully trade deadline will change that

Variables are always a factor but when a team changes a lot of players and head coach there are a lot more variables than usual. Maybe it is relevant to predict how the Spurs or OKC will be playing come PO time but they are not a work in progress like the Clips are. So I am saying it is a bit soon for this kind of talk. Which is good news because right now we are not too good.

Predictions are based on personal opinion garnered from observations of games and stats, we are all going to disagree on where we see this team going. It can be too early, but sometimes there are issues evident that can let you know a teams chances. It's just simply my opinion, i could be wrong, I hope I'm wrong but so far I would have to say that we don't look that good

Well I certainly agree with your last sentence based on where the team is now. But if you think back to our 1st few games we had an unstoppable offense. What do you think? Can we put that together again, because at that point it seemed like we just needed more from our bench and better defence. But if we did that which we have started to we could really be a contender.

I think that's what makes this team so frustrating you can see them play elite like against golden state and houston, and then you see other games like lakers game and can't believe what your eyes saw. if I can say one thing about this clippers team its that its like being on roller coaster ride

Then you haven't watched many games this season. We beat many of the playoff teams in the west. So I don't see how you can say that unless you aren't actually watching the games.

Clippers fully healthy are top 5 teams in the league. I don't believe in portland yet. Their schedule has been a gravy train. A few good wins, but that is it.

Right now I say

  1. Heat (Defending champs)

  2. Pacers

  3. Spurs

  4. OKC

  5. Clippers

By the playoffs none of those teams will want to see us.

A first round exit? Laughable. Considering we beat Golden state, Houston (twice), OKC, Minnesota (Twice)

I'm not sure how long you have been a fan, but you remind me of the guys who use to say stuff like that during our incredible season with elton brand and cassell.

In the beginning of the season everybody was saying the clippers are great and going to make a big run.

About 30 games in when we hit our slump, everybody starting saying we were the "Same old clippers". They said we wouldn't even make it to the playoffs.

Well we did.

We went against a Denver nuggets team that was by far the favorites. HE smashed them and was one lucky Raja Bell 3 away from Conference championships.

MY point is... less than 30 games is to say stuff like "we won't make it out the first round" to me is very inconsiderate of true fans who actually believe in this team.

There is something call faith and belief in your team which keeps us excited about the season.

Unless we get bad seeding(4 or lower) or we are not healthy come playoff time I don't see us being a first round exit. Its pretty unlikely. However, were far from a WCF lock. Way too many good WC teams imo and we would likely have to beat the Spurs or the Thunder to get there or even if we don't there are plenty of other very good WC teams.

This team currently can't hit the ocean. It looks like Willie green and Dudley and even barnes before his injury just completely fell off in terms of abilities. Almost 25 games in and Dudley still hadn't found his shot. This looks like a long term trend. We need to try to find a way to get him off team before deadline.
