True but like Icoldclippers said it could be getting accustomed to his role even when Redick was in the line up, Dudley tries too hard to be a creator off the dribble

Why doesn't Rivers just play Hollins at this point? Were up 18.

The role of hitting open shots isn't so hard :p. What I did notice earlier was that he was tentative in taking shots that he should be taking. Seemed like he was overly trying to be a good team player, but good shooters taking shots they can make is the best thing for the team.

The first game he was really getting out of that mentality, he missed everything, but at least he was shooting.

Dang, Blake fouls out with a stupid call by the refs and Pelicans coming back with a few buckets. Ugh. Need to increase the 12-point lead.

Jamal has actually been struggling with his shooting as a starter. A bit of a different role, but he plays with the starters enough that it shouldn't be drastically different. 1-7 on 3's tonight for him. The team has taken 27 three's!

Yea, he was. He did decent at in Phoenix, but really the Clippers don't need him to create much, it's nice and all, but just shoot the ball man!

Dudley playing like this is so much more useful playing next to Paul. If anyone ever saw Paul with Peja in New Orleans, he loves the shooters, especially that quick hitter, he's always looking for them.

An interesting stat; everyone who has scored for the Clippers had 10 points or more. The rest, 0.

Not really all that exciting and the refs pissed me off more than usual, but at the end of the day, can't complain when the Clips are winning. Good game for us.

Great win! Clippers didn't play down to the Pelicans' level. Seems like a different team from earlier in the season.

Yep. The backcourt was a little off tonight, but our entire frontcourt kicked major ass! Good win.

Great team win tonight. Blake would've had an even better game if it wasn't for all those fouls.

Team gets a nice rest with no travel until Saturday. Hope Barnes gets is ready by then and we get some better recovery updates about Bullock and Redick. Doc seems to cringe at playing Hollins and more so Mullens I think the team needs to do something to get fresh C in here. We need to fill holes soon as possible so players can gel better.

Wait...so there's a chance we can potentially see these two great PF's go head to head for the next 15 or so years? This is gonna be fun.

I feel about Davis the way I do about Duncan. That dude is a center! Oh well, wouldn't be the first time Blake's had to guard a center acting like a PF.

Nice game on both ends of the floor by the Clippers. DeAndre Jordan what a monster inside. Wonder what the shooting % was for the game when the Pelicans tried to score on him for the game- it sure the heck wasn't no 55% or whatever- looked more like 5%, lol. Great game by DJ vs some tough interior players. Another nice performance by Jared Dudley- 20 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 4/6 from deep- just superb. The knee issue probably can't used as an excuse in the future now Wink.

BG very nice #'s in limited minutes- even hit a pair of 3's. Not sure if he tweaked something but it was odd that he wasn't in there in the final 2 minutes. It was a bit of a blowout, but CP & DJ were still in there.

Good job by Collison & Green off the bench. Darren especially was very aggressive driving and getting fouled, pretty much the way he should play all the time. Jamal was off with his shot again but did great drawing fouls and ended up with 17 points.

^ Blake fouled out, that's why he didn't play the last couple of minutes.

Good team win no let up and great energy..

Even though the game was pretty close for the first half it always felt as if the clippers were going to pull away and they did.. On to Saturday!

Oh man I totally missed that- I was watching the reply and was skipping FT's. It must have been that clear path- no wonder he was so bummed when he went out after that foul. Well I'm just happy it wasn't an injury!

Still too skinny to be a C for me, but could be one in the near future if he continues to bulk up.

I was looking at the pelicans boards, and a lot of them were saying how,the pelicans are better than the clippers and it was purely the officiating. This is something I have noticed, we do not seem to have respect around the league or be feared much. Every good team wants to draw the clippers as a Match up, as everyone seems to think they "match up well" with us. Until the last three games, the team definitely looked bad, but we have great coaching and good players. What gives? Why are we the team everyone wants to face in playoffs?

Well that is interesting and annoying but we don't have to focus on that kind of stuff. If the team does its job that perception will change. We have been pretty inconsistent so I wouldn't expect teams to fear us, but if that is the perception then I hope the Clips really disappoint a lot of rival fans.

The Pelicans better than us? Really? Come on!! They will be lucky to get in the POs and we are pretty much a cert.

Uh J.J. Had no part in Klay's performance, Klay Tompson Always has nights were he decides not to shoot the ball that's just what he does.

And he didn't stop Harden, Harden rather stopped his self, but harden always has games were he struggles it's just dependent on weather he is shooting well, and if he decides to go to the basket instead of hanging out at the 3 point line like JR. Smith. But I'm not for or against J.J. in the Starting line up, I'm just making the argument as to why Jamal wouldn't be so bad either and what benefits it will have. But "Fullcourt" had a great argument, with J.J. you don't have to have your best defender on him, but with Crawford you do, that opens up CP3. But frankly I could care less who starts, Crawford will always finish so it doesn't matter all that much.

Every team wants to face us in the playoffs? Compared to who? The Spurs or Thunder?

Who cares what NOP fans think? They aren't even in the playoff hunt and we are a much better team than they are. The officiating was fine. NOP fans still bitter about losing Paul I see.

Right now the best teams in the West are

OKC

Spurs

Blazers

Clippers

the rest.

I'm not sold on Portland being a top team in the West. Strictly being an offensive team can only take you so far, and the 3 ball can turn on you quickly in this league.

I think OKC is the best team in the West right now by a decent margin, but when we get healthy....look out.

OKC look pretty scary right now, they are definitley the best in the west at the mo. It will be really interesting to see how Portland's season plays out.

I'm not sold on Portland either, I do think they're a contender though, but they've fested on the East. We've Struggled against the East but we are Kings in the West, and that's says allot to me.

In previous years I would say OKC, but for some strange reason, I just think we are better. In the past it's been an uphill battle to beat OKC,SA but watching the three games this year against them, it just doesn't feel that way, But I do know one thing, Navigating through the West this year is going to be tough.

OKC is the scariest cause even if we defend them , refs bails them out

Its so hard to guard Durant because all he needs to do is flail his arms and he gets the call. So many times I have seen him throw the ball away when he gets pressured but he just flails his arms and pretends he got hit. Its convincing because he looks like a twig.

Unfortunately Russell has taken that strategy up also, the difference is Russell has a little more pride and doesn't make it his go to move.
