yeah you did. We seemed in control of the entire game, but towards the end the refs were making some controversial calls. Matt Barnes received a flagrant 2 foul and got ejected, but the call should have been just a regular foul or flagrant 1 at worst.

Kevin love elbowed Blake Griffin in the face and all we got for it was possession of the ball. Blake got a nice souvenir from that elbow. We were sent into OT and Dudley saved the game. That was the cliff notes version of it, but even daytime soaps would be envious of all the drama this one had

Yeah I watched 3mins of highlights so I saw most of what you described. I am hoping to download the game and watch it all but the website i usually use haven't had the last 3 Clips games. Very frustrating.

I hear all the complaints about the fouls from their end, but feel like both teams got their fair share of bad calls or lack thereof. In the end their bad calls cost us two of our more important pieces, but they say it cost them the game. Where in turn if we had those two players earlier maybe they don't have the lead to begin with (I know that only applies to Matt, but those early fouls made Blake and DJ play very passive defense).

I know why we won.. So down by 5.. I noticed my friend didn't have his clipper hat on... So I made him go find it and put it on.even though it was dirty and beaten...... so once he put it on we started to have things go our way...

Your welcome clipper nation

20-9 now. That's why we always have to remember that it is a long season. Team is currently on pace for 57 wins. I think Portland might drop to 4th because they have had better than average success in close games, and usually that balances out. Their defense also is meh. Top 3 might end up as OKC, SAS, LAC, but it is a long season, so we'll see.

Clippers need to help start their drop by beating them on the 26th, but second night of a back to back is not the best timing.

I mean HEY! This game against Minny was the second on a back-to-back so maybe it will work out

Defense now ranked 8th and holding opponents under 103 pts/100. That's nice to see, but more importantly, 10th in eFG%. Biggest defensive issues now are fouling and defensive rebounding, probably more so defensive rebounding now. Clippers are high level defensive rebounding away from being a very, very solid defensive team.

...but, Doc again mentions what I've said before, and why the bench last year was consistent. Defense in terms of execution and effort can always be there. Sure teams can get hot, but that isn't constant. Offense on the other hand, you can just be off, it just isn't there sometimes, so when you are strong defensively, there's a consistency that is gained from that.

That can't be overstated. We came off a win the night before where are starters didn't rest much. MIN had a day of rest with no travel. They were hungry to beat us and get back to .500.

Win feels better the next day in all the anger that was a game that should of been tough on a back to back. Amazing toughness by everyone.

Sorry to hear that. The time difference must be a pain in the ass. I know we have a lot of British pubs out here in southern California, and most of the the Brits have to watch the football games at odd times here, like 5 in the morning. it must be like that across the pond with NBA games too i suspect. Out of curiosity a 7:30 pm game translates to what time over there?

One thing I'm not liking about this and a nitpick on Doc it seems like this team needs a three ball for validation. In the fourth we had four or five chances down one to just getting one bucket and we kept launching shots. I know we missed some at the rim but just wish we could continue to attack when 2 points is all we need.

I don't like it when we force it but when good 3 point shooters are wide open I say take it. You have to have the confidence to take those shots even if you are missing them. They are good open looks. I like how Dudley still had the confidence to shoot the ball even though he was off.

That being said we did force 3 point shots a few times. Would have liked it if we attacked the rim a bit more.

I get a bit confused with East and West time but the home games that start at 10.30 ET which I think is 7.30 LA time start here at 3.30am. So last night I watched the 1st quarter and a bit of the 2nd and went to bed around 3.30am. Cos the game started and hour earlier than usual.

So a road game in the East I can watch but games at the Staples are just too late.

It also means I am often on this forum when everybody is asleep and the forum is most active when I'm asleep. Oh well, at least its the modern age so I can still support the team despite being thousands of miles away.

Silasie, you really need to ask Santa to give you Nba broadband International for x-mas, lol. I have it for 5 years now and can't live without it. It will solve all your problems. You can watch every Clipper game whenever you want. I used to download games too, but that kinda sucks. Now i get up early before work and watch the games, it's great.

Funny you say that cos I was thinking about it, particularly seeing as these last 3 probably 4 games haven't been available. Maybe I should get that instead of a sat-nav Wink

I have to say that I am very excited to see this fan base grow. I have been on CTB since 2008 (under a different name before I used pageC4) and in the past it was a small fan base. Now Staples is incredibly packed and there seems to be more members on CTB, especially fans from other countries Smile out of curiosity David would you have numbers on how much the site membership has increased throughout the years?

im sure with redick in this lineup we wouldn't even have to worry about that. during the fourth quarter we did miss an abnormal amount of shots, and perhaps if redick were in the lineup we build and keep a lead throughout the entire game
