With all things being equal and if he had no more ability to make money, Bynum would prefer Us or the Heat. What I'm saying is if Prokhov gets him some funds elsewhere with a few more million in potential earnings that may entice him to go to BK. Not a bad market, but weather is not the greatest. Just putting out some more conspiracy theories.

Boston? It wasn't me who said that city.

I can't read, apparently mad

Brooklyn is a disaster, so he may just fit right in.

Don't think we sign anybody else until the Bynum chooses where he wants to play. Maybe by the weekend things will become more clear.

I guess no Bynum. Bulls trade Deng and draft picks for Bynum.

DJ will double his effort if he will see his back up produce more than him. Smile

Huh??...we didn't need or want a trade for him. This is the best case scenario to acquire him, via his upcoming release.

Hell of a sparring partner for DJ to practice with.

Yep the bulls don't want him. This trade puts them under luxury tax after they sign a player for the vet min. Now we have a real shot at bringing him in

We should pick Bynum rather than Vucevic and Hedo.

Can't wait to see bynum in the clippers uniform, I'm sure Lakers fans will say again we are collecting lakers players, how about kobe to JJ's back next to jamal because his knees can only only play 10 minutes LOL! and he will be in minimum as well.

I'm definitely intrigued with Bynum, but isn't anyone else worried that he burns the chemistry down. Is he ok with coming off the bench? Is he ok with whatever role he is given? Can he play both 4 and 5 positions? Will he show up every game or just when he wants?

I like that he is a low risk, high reward player; but sometimes wonder how low of a risk he actually is.

lol at anyone thinking bynum will all of a sudden turn into what he once was. those days are long over my friend. an even more broken down greg oden with a bad attitude.

As long as he can jog from block to block, he's a massive improvement over what we have. But i think he goes to the Heat, theoretically they can offer him a starting gig.

Bynum can play both with dj and Blake.

When Bynum enters the game, dj moves to power forward. Imagine a frontline of Bynum and Dj. It'll be hard to score on that.

With Blake and Bynum imagine Blake throwing lob passes to Bynum like Gasol used to do, better.

With dj playing 35 min and Blake playing 37 min. That Is 24 min available for Bynum, which should be enough for him and his knees.

No one is thinking he's gonna average like 17 and 10 again. You're just being your usual cynical self. But everyone agrees that he's a huge improvement over Hollins and Mullen

I trust Doc to do what's best for the team. Let him sit down with Bynum and see his interest level in playing, otherwise we're getting another Odom, NOT GOOD (in my book)

48 hours to figure something out other than bynum, if can't really find anything then go for Bynum.

Well I think Doc's trust take a bit of a hit when he signed Mullins, Hollins and maybe Jamison as our back up bigs. wink

Doc needs to at least talk with Bynum and see if he can "see" into to his eyes, lol.

Bynum, I like Bynum, is he the right fit for our team, IDK, like Asik I get the feeling he want to be starting, and that was probably the main issue with the Cavs. I like him as a player but he's been up and down all year, and not in good shape at all, I mean he's in OK condition but when movement was never your strength then not being in great shape isn't really a positive. But he's had plenty of games were he just looked too good to not take a chance on, plus I think we have a good enough coaching Staff and Leadership in the Locker room to handle him. No doubt he's a risk, but he's also a high reward. Besides.... He's the best Big on the market and I rather have the best. Also if he excepts his role witch would probably be between 15 to 25 minutes a night, he could be what were missing.

I got a Question though, I'm sure he can Play with Blake on the Floor but does anybody think he could be out there with DJ?

Didn't work so great for Asik and Howard.

Doc shouldn't be a gm. Turkoglu or Bynum...no comparison. He says he "likes" Turk - but he also "liked" Dudley. Please no.

Think Doc needs to get this done and prove his "leader of men" worth. Now if Bynum refuses to come off the bench then it wouldn't work chemistry wise.

Jamison, Mullens, and Hollins are not going to help us win a championship if they are the first bigs off the bench.

The problem with Asik/Howard was that they didn't have a stretch the floor 3rd big like Blake. DJ and Bynum wouldn't see much time on the floor together, and if they did, it should be against weaker defensive lineups.

The Chicago Bulls have waived Andrew Bynum, according to CBS Sports' Ken Berger.

Bynum was acquired in a trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers in a deal involving Luol Deng.

Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times reports that the Los Angeles Clippers are not expected to pursue Bynum due to the issues arising from his time with the Cavaliers.

If MIA gets Bynum will they keep Oden? Having two health risks is a bit risky. Greg is supposed to be ready to play now.

Our organization has prided itself in having only player of high personal standards so not getting Bynum isn't really a surprise. Remember we passes on Beasley fortunately.

According to Arash Markazi: Doc: "We've had very few discussions about anyone big right now. We're far more focused on the perimeter part of our team." So I guess we are not going to get any Big right now. Maybe in 10 days

based on what I'm reading in here, yes people are talking up bynum too much. enough with that ubiquitous cynicism talk. that being said, how incredibly sweet would it be if bynum was just "tanking" so he could somehow land on a team with a chance to win? the guy seemed to have issues with teams that weren't performing. injury shmingury. imagine if bynum of old resurrects and we end....

Also Kenyon Martin,Nutgrabber Reggie Evans, and I think the team would of took Metta World Peace if he didn't get his first option Knicks. If you buy in you are in seems the motto that we go by.

Yeah, but all the players you named are players that seem to buy in to their teams. I'm not sure that Bynum fits that mold, he's got a completely different attitude.

The possibilities of signing him if he did buy in are really tempting though. I think Bynum would really lick his chops if he got feed on back up bigs all year. It would be a great opportunity, one where I think he could end up getting the sixth man of the year if he bought in.

Then again, we have a team that requires our bigs to move, and would have to adjust to him. I don't see him fitting well in our schemes, but you never know.

So dumb. Collison, Redick, Jamal, Willie and a temporary Darius Morris. We'll be 3 deep at SF again soon as well. How do we need more guards???

It's dumb to pass on Bynum because he didn't like it living and losing in Cleveland. He's a douchebag no question. But being brought in on a vet minimum deal when it's made clear he's a bench player, I would assume that is humbling enough to get a guy to fall in line. And if he sucks or is a distraction, just dump his ass. Half way through the year with a min deal, the league pays some portion of those contracts anyway, there's very little financial risk.

Marc Stein tweet today:

Maalik Wayns, Solomon Jones and Seth Curry have all CLEARED waivers. Wayns headed back to Clips on 10-day deal; stay tuned on Curry & Grizz

Does this mean he takes up Stephen Jackson's spot, back up to 15 for now?

I hope we get Bynum somehow.
