@andrewthehan: Clippers' starters scored 85 points. Bobcats team scored 85 points. ^^^^^^ SUMS UP THE GAME! When our starters are rolling and our bench is beasting and thieving we are hard to beat! I just can't....

^Yeah, second half was fun to watch once Clippers clamped down on their defense and shooters started making their shots, especially Dudley with timely 3s and Blake with all his jumpers. It was great!

Held them to 29 points in the second half.

Damn! I was gonna mention before the game that I thought Dudley was gonna have a huge game. I would've sounded like a genius.

So Blake Griffin only dunks?

Those 5 straight dunks from 20 feet were pretty cool.

It's weird they didn't give him 3 points for that dunk beyond the 3pt line.

Somebody at the post game conference asked Blake if his recent play was motivated by the Carmelo trade rumors. To Blake's credit, he said he's improving because he wants to and has nothing to do with rumors.

Why are they asking him about rumors that were either started by the knicks or more likely by bleacher report?

Wow, he's even better at handling questions than Melo.

Like most nights we shot way too many 3 pointers! 11 for 34 from 3 point range. You take out Dudley's 6 makes and we are 5 for 25, we need to be attacking the rim more and setting up more plays than just jacking a 3 point.shot.

1/8 from Crawford ouch. Barnes need to stop taking them period. 0/6.... Only when your open from the corner.

I too am sick of the team jacking up threes. Unless your jersey says curry, Thompson or even batum, only take that shot in the flow of offense! So many possessions seem to end with a halfhearted attempt at a three.

I don't care how many 3's we shoot. Just win the damn game.

Chris does it a little more than he should also. If those 3 guys would stop taking early in the shot clock mildly contested 3's we'd be a lot better.

That's what I like about Dudley. He may miss his fair share of 3's, but he never takes dumb 3's.

Apparently the 29 second half points and 9 field goals were season lows for the Bobcats.

So, Griff is 7-18 from 3, right? Cant believe he has the highest 3pt% in the team, lol. (And BTW, Mullens has a better 3pt% than Jamison after this game)

It is frustrating that the front office went out of their way to add good shooters and we still can't really improve on that front.

I'm a little concerned about Blake's turnovers. However, it dawned on me that the more aggressive he is at the elbow, the more defenders will poke the ball away from him. Also the more charges will be called against him for driving to the basket. And he's been VERY aggressive lately. He's still relatively new to the elbow position and I think he'll adjust at some point where the turnovers are limited.

That'll change when JJ gets back. Not because of JJ alone, but because Jamal will shoot better off the bench. Just like last year and how he started this season. I think Jared will also hit more open jumpers when JJ's out there on the same court. I have not evidence of this, but it's what I believe. Also Bullock may show us some touch.

I don't mind if Forwards like KD and LBJ are turnover prone because usually it means they are being aggressive. Blake is being more aggressive and that just comes with the territory.

As long as our PG isn't turning it over like crazy, I'm good.

I watched the Charlotte version of PT. It was strange because they seemed honored to be on the same court as the Clipps. They expected a first quarter blow out. They consistently praised our players and said little about theirs. Again Jared was called Dudley -Do-Right.

If we continue to jack up threes we will lose - period. A couple of games ago almost all of our shots were threes. This has to stop.

On the plus side don't worry about BG's turn overs. It's a learning process. He's always doubled when he loses the handles. If his FT and jump shooting continue he will be unguardable.

Doc ran a play for DJ. He bobbled it but so what. He may bobble a few them watch out.

Charlotte played well for a half and their announcers were ecstatic.

The guy who needs to go is Jamison. Has he scored 10 pts yet? He's a step slow on D. I think we got another Grant Hill, a guy who's playing one year too many. He also is heavier that before.

I couldn't agree more. Dudley hasn't taken a bad shot in my opinion, that's what leads me to believe that he will be a factor in the playoffs

The bobcats scored 29 points in the second half? We seem to have a lot of good defensive halves. Might just be the Bobcats but that's a beatdown we needed to get in there before this tough back-to-back. Hopefully we'll fare better in this one than we did in the last.

Scoring well against them is more impressive than defending them well since they suck massively on offense but are very good on defense, only the Bucks are worse of offense, but still, 29 points is killer.

True our offense was probably far more impressive. Great contributions by Dudley and Collison. Plus BJ knocked in two 3s in less than a minute and a half. Think we've shown that if we have a 3rd and 4th scorer going that we can win most games.

I'm not a buyer that the Bobcats are legitimately a very good defensive team though. Keeping the Bucks to less than 80 points a couple times doesn't really impress me.

What a job by the guys in the second half. You could see the focus, sharpness, and defensive intensity in the first half, but credit the Bobcats for playing well and hitting shots. Different story obviously the final 2 quarters, however.

What a game by Jared Dudley. *6* 3's & quite a few nice drive and dishes. If he can just consistently hit like 2 out of 5 on average, it would provide a huge boost to team. Blake Griffin- what a great display of improved jump shooting. Stretch 4? Mr. Griffin has become one. Teams are taking notice and will be challenging the shot more, but that just opens up the drive for him where he can dish to DJ, a shooter, or finish/draw the foul himself.

CP & DJ had good performances, though Jamal struggled from deep again. In fact, the entire team went just 5 for 25 if you take away Dudley's #'s. Plus, Blake & Mullens made 3 treys, so yup- a horrid 2 for 21 for the rest of the team. Not pretty, and you certainly hope guys will step up in that dept. Or not settle for the 3's so much.

Off the bench, Collison was terrific- 8 points and 5 big steals. Barnes struggled from deep, but played with energy. Same goes for Willie- good defensive energy particularly.

Blaaaaaaaaaake!!! That's the Blake we need come playoff time!! And Jared 'deadly'.... he's going to knock down some important shots for us, once he started to penetrate and dish smh it just opens up so much more for us offensively. But i am a strong believer of "you live by the 3, die by the 3" though :/

Very glad to wake up to that result. I went to bed after the 1st so didn't really know what to expect. That is a new look from Blake-stretch 4 style.....................nice Smile

And Dudley finally doing what he was hired for, keep it up Jared, we need you while JJ is out.

Just watched Docs post game interview and I have to say that I really like his way of looking at the game and his team. The way he he says the Suns game is in the past and he is not thinking about that now. He really knows that the season is a marathon and not a sprint. His philosophy and demenour are very grounded, positive and realistic. I like the way he trusts his players, he made comments about Dudley, Blake and Chris that showed this.

I trust our team is in really good hands with this guy.

Barnes NEEDS to cut way down on the 3's at which he's a below average shooter from there.

Jamal can't....he's always and always will be a chucker. When he's hot, like started out in the beginning of the season it's good, but when he's cold, like he's been since Dec 1, it ain't pretty...cause he can't help you win with any other skill set.

Jan started out with a thud too for him. Ugh.

By now Barnes should know that his strength is on slashing to the hoops and running the floor. Maybe Doc gave him the green light to shoot open 3 more

You'd think. If Doc did give him the green light to shoot open 3's...well you see what you get.
