Johnny Flynn. SF that can handle the ball maybe Hedo? Who knows. It's not like there's a Kenyon Martin or JR Smith in china right now

Side note; Splitter out 3-5 weeks with a shoulder sprain. Hmmm...

Bobby Brown... or maybe Hedo.. I still think we need a legit big to back up our 4 and 5 spots before signing another guard

what about Keyon Dooling? He's played for Doc before. What's his situation?

Is this the same bobby brown who played for us in 09?

Sucks for the Spurs. I like Splitter... maximizes minimal talent (Pop). Can't blame Monta or Hollins, I just wish karma worked in less mysterious ways... like maybe Cousins and Randolph getting tangled up and breaking each other's necks.

Curry's a cocky, fragile little punk... but he's not dirty.

Bogus on the other hand, can (and probably will) miss 60 games just bringing his groceries in from the car. He'll get his.

And if Reverend Jackson's beliefs hold true, he should be investing in Neosporin and Preparation-H with all the red hot poker action he's gonna see.

It's official now. Wayns is no longer on the team.

Although they can still re-sign him for to a 10 day contract if necessary.

  1. Shoulder dislocation (Glenohumeral joint, the shoulder ball and socket joint dislocation) has an obvious deformity, the deltoid area looks "empty" They hold the arm with elbow flexed often supporting it with the other hand. They can get pinching to the axillary (armpit) nerve and artery but they usually go away after the shoulder is reduced. They can tear the labrium tendons from the of the scapula (wing bone). The labrium (lip) is the rim of the socket. Immediate relocation is necessary with a dislocated shoulder. You are out 6 weeks and there is a 30% chance of recurrence. Arthroscopy is revealing a lot of hither to unknown injuries to the bones and ligaments but most heal on their own. It hurts like a Mother

A shoulder separation (Acromio clavicular ligament tear) is a totally different animal. There are two sets of ligaments that join the clavicle (collar bone) to the scapula (wing bone). A Grade I is a stretching of the ligaments. A Grade II is a partial tear meaning a complete tear to one of the ligaments but not the other. Grade III complete disruption. It's sometimes hard to tell a I from a II by looking especially in fat guys. The "Bump" is often very subtle They aren't nearly as painful as a shoulder dislocation. If you are drunk or really pissed off the pain in a Grade I or II may not be noticed for a while. Nerve/artery damage is rare, He wasn't rushed back to LA because most common treatment is to do nothing but immobilization. A grade III is pretty obvious. There are complications such as pain and reduced mobility

In mere mortals like us even a Grade III can be treated without surgery but with athletes the treatment is operative. Rehab is around 6 weeks. He probably has a Grade II. Season ending? No

It's a Grade 3 but won't require surgery. But will be up to 6 weeks.

So does this mean with the release of Maalik Wayns that we will sign a PG instead of a PF?

He should be on schedule to return right after the All-Star game.

Yeah, he needs to sit that one out. Ain't like he needs to win ANOTHER All Star Game MVP award.

20 games without CP3. If we go .500 we'll be at 33-23. That should still keep us in the playoff run

We can't play as bad as we did when we played the spurs or these next 2 months are not going to be good

I think we win at least 9 of the 20 based on the schedule. And that would be assuming we lose to all the good teams...which we are bound to beat a couple of good teams. But we may also lose a game or two to some bad ones.

Could have been way worse. It's January and we can see him back next month! That's good. I just hope we remain in playoff hunt.

Also it says "up to" six weeks, leaving the door open to an earlier return.

Needs to be voted a starter, though. Just out of respect.

Do it, Jarca... I know you dig Parker, but in times of crisis, we are one.

Up to six weeks is a good thing considering before it was 3-5 weeks at a minimum. He could return a bit sooner too.

He'll probably return on January 30th. That's my bet

I actually feel like six weeks is conservative, given the 3-5 week statement from Friday. I think there is every reason to hope he could be back earlier. If it was six weeks at minimum, they would have said that. The "up to" phrase was out in there for a reason. No way he is out longer.

I'm optimistic by nature, so I'd like to think so... but realistically, I'd say a month for the injury, and probably more to be in game shape.

If he plays the first game after ASB, I'll be happy. If he's back before, I owe you a rep for your optimism.

I'm rooting for you to win.
