Oops now I have worked out what you mean. You meant he worked out for the training staff rather than they are working out a deal. My bad, I speak English English rather than American English and I was a bit slow on the translation.

Confirmed: @Clippers work out Hedo Turkoglu today. One source: "He can run point-forward (for injured PG Chris Paul)."

He's a career 38% 3 point shooter. The last thing you lose as you age is your shot. Hope he's in good shape

If he works out we address both the SF and PG depth

Morris wouldn't be a bad option. Rather have him than an aged Turkoglu running the point

Gun to my head, I say yes. Otherwise, I say "maybe". Could be really good, but could also end up being really bad.

I hope not. Don't trust an aging 34 year old performing well after a season long suspension. Not to mention the season before that was pretty awful as well.

For a minimum, i say yes for hedo, I'm sure he will work hard to prove something.

I would have to believe he would be here to play PF with Dudley and Barnes and the reutrn of Bullock at SF. Doc still looking for that stretch 4 lol. Turk, Mullens, Jamison, and Jackson.

I doubt the conversation is for anything other than the minimum.

We could really use the Bynum getting cut now more than ever. Our bench is a wreck and would be agreat compliment to both starting bigs.

You have a guy that played in 11 games in 2012-2013 season with Orlando and suspended for use of performance-enhancing drugs. Why would we take a chance on this guy? Can we not find a better player than this?

Lamar Odom Not Likely to Be Signed by Los Angeles Clippers - Report

that sucks

The ONLY reason I'd be interested in Hedo is because he and JJ might be able to muster up some chemistry to move the offense until Paul gets back seeing as how those guys played a lot of years together. Otherwise, not sure he excites me much. It all feels temperary anyway.

than why are they looking at hedo?

he's the same size. he can shoot and he can pass. and odom is the better defender.

How does Andre miller make sense? He's not happy because of lack of minutes. Let's say the Clippers somehow get him, now he's a backup PG, then when Paul comes back, is he the third PG or second? If he's the 3rd PG he's getting DNP's, so how would he be happy then?

Can Hedo even play adequate basketball anymore?

INSIDER

Former Orlando Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu has cleared waivers and is free to sign with the team of his choice, and already the Los Angeles Clippers may have emerged as the front-runners.

When the veteran was waived on Friday, multiple reports like this one indicated that the Lakers and Hawks were among the list of interested teams.

Fast-forward to today, and Orlando radio host David Baumann reports that the Clippers are working out Turkoglu on Monday, with a source indicating that he can serve the point-forward role until Chris Paul returns.

If the workout goes well, this could be the place Turkoglu lands. The better question is whether he'll be ready to play a role on the Clippers if he does sign, having sat out all of training camp and the first two months of the season.

-Hell no to Lamar let him tweak on the Lakers.

-Hell no to Andre Miller he hated being here the first time and never was respectful to us since then. Not to mention I doubt he wants to play on a Blake Griffin team when his foul on Blake got him suspended leading to a suspension that ended his games played streak.

-Turk is older and slower and may not play any time soon even if signed but we have to find some kind of help backing Blake. Then getting help behind Jordan.

  1. Miller...Been there, done that. Plus he's owed 5 mil this year. No

  2. Hedo...We need guys who have at least played SOME minutes this year. Again, no.

I kinda like the idea of Darius. Mike Brown had no clue how to use him correctly. With CP mentoring him he might actually be a long term player for us.

The only thing I don't like about him is that he was a Laker. GROSS!

I have been saying that for a while! He is Eric Bledose-esque! Very athletic and his is listed as a PG! Better than trying to let Willie Run the point! But I am lolin at Darius Morris!

Guys, Shannon Brown is a SG, not a PG, I'm not sure why anyone listed him as a PG, but if you watch him, he can't play that position. He's not a playmaker or a specifically impressive ball handler in terms f ball security or advanced ball handling ability.
