Literally the stupidest article i've ever had the displeasure of reading. Thought i should share this because this is pathetic!

Yeah I saw this. And believe me, when the season started, I had my doubts about BG and DJ playing together, mainly because I didn't trust Blake's mid-range jumper. However, I've changed my mind big time. Even if you can't "rely" on Blake's jumper (though it's definitely looked good), we now have surrounded both big guys with shooters and it makes all the difference in the world. Blake at the elbow just works now. Especially when he's aggressive. So a big NO to trading for KL or LMA!

Yeah, this article is so stupid. It's hard to believe that stuff like this gets published. Leave it to BR to out do Chris Broussard. I would expect him to retaliate and say the lakers are trading Bryant to the heat any minute now to get his title back as worst journalist ever.

I think that lakers fans who write for bleacher report are very insecure about the clippers being good. Them being bad was like a security blanket. This blake for Melo rumor is so irritating. It shortens our window by three years, and I just think that guy is a loser. It's a joke that anyone thinks losing blake for Melo would make us favorites. He isn't made of la stuff that Carmelo. I actually don't think the fans would like him.

The funniest thing is that he said chris paul is paired with 2 non scoring big man. When the heck did Blake become a non scorer? I guess 22.3 points a game isn't good enough any more

While I do think this season their might be talent out there that might improve our team in a Griffin trade, that is short term.

Griffin is so young and his game is taking leaps every season.

He should definitely be on the "Untradeable List".

This is the best part of the article.

Hmmmm....I wonder what GM said this....Kevin Pritchard you devil. I gotta hand it to you though that's a genius way of stealing a teams superstar player.

These writers act like it's absolutely necessary for Blake to be a jump shooter like K Love in Doc's system, but they're not thinking outside the box at all. Blake has become much more versatile than that. He may be the most versatile PF in the NBA. Because now he's shooting more confidently. He can also post up. But, more so than K Love or LMA, Blake can DRIVE and CUT to the basket. And I'd say he's also more versatile on defense too...whether it's an occasional block, charge, steal or hustle play.

These writers are either to limited in their basketball analysis or they have some other agenda.

The timing of this makes no sense, BG is showing us that he's heading toward his prime & sky is still the limit.

We'll just call Blake our shooting guard (in which case his 53% FG's are off-the-charts awesome) and JJ can be our stretch-4 with his career 39% 3pt FG's.

Does that sound better now, Mr. Puker?

Imbecile.

Me too... but I'd have to eat some 6-day-old sushi to reach Bucher's level, though.

I like how the article suggests that CP3 and David West would be a good. It's as if the writer forgot that they played together in New Orleans. They might have had some success in the regular season, but they never went very far in playoffs. Getting rid of Griffin and replacing him with West would only be moving this team backward. This makes me disregard the entire article.

I am not even going to waste my eyeballs reading anything coming from the BR. ESPN is dumb enough for me.

Not 1, not 2, but 3 separate quotes from this POS is on Hoopshype right now. What a joke.

Supposedly either Portland, Minny or IND's GM was a "source" for this drivel. 98% chance that it's a made up quote since a BR writer has to do his garbageman route during the day and doesn't have time to call GM's for secret insider info.

Must be a slow day for news.

Hey Ric, remember when you used to work for ESPN and you used to get a lot of air time, then you started spewing nonsense and now you don't work there, and now your are a sideline reporter for the Warriors and you write articles for B/R the retarded step-child to ESPN? Do you remember Ric?

Basically what I'm trying to say is....who are you again? Oh that's right, you're Creepy Todd from Breaking Bad

One article flat out suggests that Paul "wishes" Blake was more like West. Like they got some anonymous tip that Paul has been grumbling about this. It's still just that same GM report though. It's pretty inexcusable to some jackass like this to try to interfere with the inner goings on of a team's chemistry. Not that it would work, but it's inexcusable.

I disagree entirely with the article. That all being said, I would take David West in a heartbeat as a backup to Blake.

Something like this trade. Too bad it'll never happen.

Blake was overrated his first 2 seasons. But he's evolved his game significantly since then. People are underrated him too much now.

Sorry, I didn't meant at $12M, I just meant in general. Yes, he certainly shouldn't be making $12M on this team.

I didn't actually check out the proposed trade idea either. An easier solution is that Elton Brand guy on ATL, toss em Matt Barnes. I know he only averages 4/4/1, but he plays 14 MPG.

Of course, why ATL would do such a trade? Who knows, they wouldn't, but it makes a lot more fiscal sense for LAC and they don't loose two players playing 25+ MPG each doing it.

22+ pts, 12+ reb, 3+ ast in his rookie year... and he was overrated?

Those numbers blow Duncan's, Malone's and Barkley's rookie years out of the water.

This makes as much sense as i can make sense of someone speaking Chinese to me when I need help because of an emergency!!!!!!!!!

Blake does not need to Block shots a la DJ. That is why DJ is here.

K Love puts up numbers like that because he is the number one option on his team, heck, he is the second option too. Yes, he is a shooter I know, but Blake is getting his J to be consistent.

LA is good but Blake has shown flashes this year he can and will be a better all around player, and younger.

Plus why trade for older players?? Does not make sense at all. It shortens your win time.

I swear they base their opinions on players stat lines...correction...they base it on two stat lines: Points and Rebounds.

What I mean is some clown on one of the many ESPN shows that comes on stated that because Blake averages the same points as he did a rookie but with less rebounds, that automatically means he hasn't improved. To his credit, Israel Gutierrez made the argument that the improvement goes beyond the stats.
