The best thing that could of happened has...with Brand and Maggette opting out, that opened the door for Davis to sign. Apparantly, Brand will sign for less money. You got to give it up for E.B.!!!!! Davis' agent stated the Brand is goingt o sign also. Maggete seems to have realy messed things up for himself, he is going to have sign in a terrible city or take less money. Unless, somewho the Clippers do a sign and trade with him if that is possible at this point

lol, yes Brand did a very noble, and teamworthy thing. Maggette should have never ever ever opted out. As a result, his salary will significantly drop. I'd love to see him back in LA no matter how unlikely

Come on!!! To most of us Maggette has a place in our hearts. He dealt with the constant rumors surrounding him. We expected a lot from him. Overall he was a good Clipper (longest time on the team) and for the most part loyal. He played hard and hurt, he just wasnt the player that could lead this team. I will miss him... We tried to win with him but the Maggette experiment is now over!! I wish him the best wherever he goes, sounds like its gonna join the Sperms,,,I means Spurs ...sorry...lol. GOOD LUCK Corey, dont u wish u didnt opt out!

I wouldn't be so quick to forget Maggette. He was always a good citizen and he provided a lot of exciting moments. I think my favorite might have been when he hit the game-winning 3 against the Heat in double-overtime a few years ago. He waa not a complete player as one would hope (he has so much potential on the defensive end) and there was friction between the coach and he. But I would not want to forget the contributions of CM50. It was fun while it lasted. I hope he gets his, wherever that may be.
