As far as resigning Morris the Clippers do not need to. Collison Reddick Barnes Griffin Jordan And you run the second unit like Crawford Green Bullock/Dudley Turkoglu Hollins but Doc likes to keep DJ or Griffin at all times Sources said that when Morris's Contract expires the....

How do we feel about DJ on Boozer and Blake on Noah? I feel like a lot of our rebounding troubles were due to that.

I didn't understand that move at all. Didn't seem to be effective at all either.

IMO, I think that was a smart match up for the Bulls. Noah's high activity on the boards usually causes problems for many bigs. DJ puts up solid rebounding numbers However, he still relies on his athleticism to achieve those numbers. Boozer somewhat can put him on check due to fundamental basketball and being in the right spots. Also, you usually see Boozer and Noah crashing the boards together.

Good, professional win. Got the shooting averages back up in that first half and withstood a few runs later without panicking, thanks to Blake and DC the soldier.

Now go wolves!

Repped High Quality Post

That's not saying much. I posted at beginning of year that he was mediocre and was constantly told how good he was and what an upgrade he was. I think the sample size is big enough, he is a mediocre player at best and always has been. He's played with point guards that always get him open looks and when he is wide open with his feet set and and no one is guarding him he can and should make a good amount of those shots. Other than that he's basically worthless.

Doesn't matter what "we" think, lol. It's what Doc thinks and me thinks he re-signs a PG particularly with DC's situation.

Great win the defense was not the best but much needed W.

Yeah the defense isn't great, and the Clipperblog folks blame Blake for regressing since Paul has gone done (possibly even before, when JJ went down). This might be true, but to be brutally honest, Blake may feel like he's had to step up his offense at the expense of a little defense. Kind of a call back to his rookie of the year style (albeit a better all around player). Frankly, I think it kinda works. If this is actually the case, I'm sure the overall defense will get better once Paul gets back. Blake will be able to get back to attacking the boards and defending because his baskets will come a little bit easier. Just speculating here.

I thought it doesn't matter what we, me you or anyone but Doc thinks so why are you even thinking about what he will do?

Just in case you forgot this is a forum where people discuss what they think. And it happens regardless of what you "think"

somewhere along the line this gets forgotten. Unfortunately forums give people anonymity, and sometimes this gives people a sense of superiority or wisdom because the human contact is gone.

Damn, Blake was only 3 assists away from a triple-double. He deserves more credit than people have been giving him. I can't wait to see what he'll do to the Raptors.

Smile I think his FG% in the past two games has been atrocious so he doesn't even have that going for him

Sad but true. I don't want him to fail, on the contrary I want him to succeed but feel he has shown he doesn't deserve the minutes he is getting and is not helping our team in a high minute role.

yesterday was a good day. GS and Hou lose. Hou will lose again today. If we can get another W tonight, this trip is already a success.

The only team I'm really worried about is the Warriors, we seem to always have trouble with them. We need to make our division secure with all teams taking cared of the right way. 1-1 warriors, 1-1 Lakers 0-1 suns

Wait for it, as of right now tense is scouring the web on the latest advance stats that somehow says Dudley is effective Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_03

There's just no magic to advanced stats, it's common sense most of the time, and they are linked to something you can generally logically figure out, so you can't suck massively and have any stat magically say you are good. Dudley has been much worse offensively on the bench than starting. Of course it is two bad games, and he's been bad for two games before, but we'll see how it progresses. He was good vs Detroit and poor the last two.

The 10 games before that as a started he was averaging 9.2 pts, 50% FG, 50% 3PT in 27 minutes. Being with the starters probably benefits his abilities as a role player who plays off other guys better than being with the current bench composition till they start to maybe figure things out together.

If you go back 20 games as a starter:

9.4 pts, 46.4% FG, 43.8% 3PT

Doc said he wanted more defensive energy in the starting lineup and more offense on the bench with the move. He should get the first, but he probably isn't getting the latter if there isn't anyone for a guy like Dudley to play off of. Dudley will spread the floor better for them by sucking defenders out, but they need someone who will take advantage of that, and defenders will stick close to him in a lineup that basically sees him and Crawford as the only offensive threats.

my favorite move of the game... When Blake manhandled Noah on the block a couple minutes into the 3rd. 1. His aggressiveness was impressive. 2. His decisiveness 3. No foul call. From what I've seem before, Blake would get called for an offensive foul.

Which is exactly why I was saying reggie isn't being viewed under the same light and he was still performing just as good as Dudley in a much worse position. He has to be part of the stagnant 2nd unit and still is able to get open and put up good shots. Imagine what he could do with the starters!

My guess is that it was because Noah likes to play up high and pass and be mobile, while Boozer is most effective as a traditional close to the basket post player and moves around less, so Jordan can stay closer to the basket to challenge shots has help defender and Griffin can use his mobility to help out on the perimeter some. I could see us doing the same thing against Memphis for similar reasons.

I meant the current bench without a PG since Paul is injured and Collison is starting. Not sure id say he was performing just as well, not really much to make any conclusions out of.

Still, this stuff can be figured out in practice, so if he hasn't shown that in practice, then...

Terrence Ross gets the headlines... Clippers get the win. Would you rather it be the other way around?
