The rebounding killed us. I was at the Pepsi center 2 rows behind the clippers bench. Without stats in front of me, all I saw was Nuggets offensive rebounds. The shot is one thing on TV. But watching that 2 rows away was a tough pill to swallow.

Growing up, my teachers always talked about the "three R's". Tonight, we got beat by the three R's... road schedule, rebounding and referees.

Another couple of R's made a difference as well... Randy vs. Redick.

I seriously hope JJ gets his stroke back by Wednesday. We'll need it.

Great shot by Foye.

And Dudley. He is a worse rebounder than crawford and reddick in many games unfortunately. Barnes really hasn't been rebounding that great either

Screw the buzzer beater and the bs calls by the ref, we lost because we didn't box out and grab boards. We put too much pressure on our bigs about rebounds but our guards and sf need to boxout too.. This game still hurts like a B*tch

Gonna need to rip off a streak at some point. For my money, that happens in March. Don't be surprised if we take a step back before we take 2 steps forward.

Didn't watch the game, just saw the last play and the first thing that came to mind was, why didn't they trap Hickson?? Even if they end up fouling him, he's not a great FT shooter. Tough loss.

WHY THE HELL WAS ONE OF OUR WORST DEFENDERS ON THERE 3 POINT SHOOTER! !!???? WHY!? I don't understand. .....why was he eVen in at that point. ... we didn't need any offense or good free throw shooting. :/ i would've replaced him with Reggie or even sasha. ....sh*t! Smh this one stings a lil. .. great shot by foye. Gotta put this one behind us now. ... Gotta face a monster named lebron Next

Just watched condense version of the game, it's amazing how flat footed Blake was on foyers shot, with seconds to go he should have been closer and putting more pressure on the shot, the switch was to slow

You guys realize we're playing .720 ball without the third best player in the NBA right?

I'm still in an awful mood.

Yeah I thought I'd feel better about it this morning. We got robbed by 1) Marc Davis, 2) Randy Foye, and 3) Team rebounding and quincy 'scrub' miller having one of those nights (lol). But we can't make excuses... looking for the Clips to come out hard on Wednesday and getting a win over the champs.

Let's just stop blaming the ref about a lose, I know there's a lot of missed call but if they will play hard every night and put a convincing lead in the fourth quarter even the ref can't make a miracle.

March schedule actually looks very favorable. I think that could be our December from last year. (not saying we go undefeated, but could have a huge month and hit our stride)

I watch them every game, every possession. Our BIGS do not box out either, especially BG. BG and DJ both WATCH THE BALL and simply rely on jumping high. It is so frustrating.

Mark Davis game = Clippers loss. We should have known, especially after the fake whistle that took away the basket.

We may not have rebounded well but we shot over 70% from the field in the 4th quarter while the Nuggets had ONLY 2 field goals in the last 7 minutes of the game. Nice shot by Randy but last nights game was Ref ball at its finest, Marc Davis can go F**** himself. That being said, let's handle business on Wednesday.

I worry about Blake's defense, he was always way out on the perimeter on the pick n roll, and forced DJ between two big guys. DJ can do that on the pick, but Blake sucks at it.

Forget bad calls, Foye's shot or anything else. That shot was a gift from the ghost of Neismith. They got lucky because it was a near impossible shot.

How many times the Denver get the ball after one of them missed a FT? Was it four? Didn't they convert on all of them? That's why we lost.

Mike Smith was boiling mad about our lack of interior defense. Fareed killed us over and over on the same play. No one put a body on him.

Having said that, they had game off a ridiculously hard schedule and were playing at 5,000 feet and DJ had an asthma attack. Smith commented on how tired they looked and how their legs had left them. At 5,000 feet my endurance drops precipitously and that's when I'm not exhausted

I'm not all that worried. It seems he's made a deliberate effort to pick up some offensive slack at the expense of his defense. It's been kinda brilliant. It's allowed him to be shockingly consistent. I believe once Paul gets back, which seems to be very soon, he'll go back to concentrating more on defense.

Remember last time we played Denver Blake was all over the place. Even though he only had 24 points, he was grabbing rebounds, blocking shots, stealing, taking charges. One of my favorite performances, frankly. It was also the game where he showed off his awesome handles. He played on D more freely because there wasn't a lot of pressure for him to carry so much of the offense because Paul was out there too doing his floor general thing.

So I think we'll see Blake reestablish some solid defense when the starting lineup is finally intact.

DJ did a running hook and missed early on. The smack of palm against his forearm was loud enough to hear in the 5th row. It was a beautiful move. We need more of that stuff
