The 2014 draft is expected to be one of the deepest drafts ever. Who do you guys think we could get? Who would you prefer?

We have our first and second this year and we need to keep both picks. I want this team to draft bigs get another second and get another big. Don't care who but I want to leave the draft with a C, PF and a C/PF.

If we finish in the top 5 of the league, S.A. gets our 2nd round pick. As of today, we'd pick 55th and keep it. Move up at least one slot and we lose our 2nd rounder. Not that matters much, rare to find anybody worth a damn that deep in the draft.

1st round, if Cauley-Stein is gone by then, I want Adrienne Payne. 6'10" and big and can hit from deep. Could back up both bigs. Hope we don't take another dime a dozen wing this year. We need a cheap rotation big going forward.

we don't have a 2nd rounders in 2014 & 2015. only in 2016 a swap with brooklyn 2nd rounders. 2014 goes to spurs. 2015 goes to wizards.

To think that only a few years ago, this would have been the most active thread at this time of year... nothing else to look forward to.

This year, I'm hoping it'll be "Who would you rather face in the WCF?" and in 2015, "Blake or CP3 for finals MVP?".

Times have changed.

I would definitely go for Willie-Caulie Stein, Montrezl Harrel, Adrien Payne and Clint Capela. With our second rounder we can get Isiah Austin. Thoughts?

I've been on record saying we must get Cauley-Stein.

Doc can mold him into a serviceable big man in his rookie year.

I think we need a legit SG/SF that can defend, super athletic, can shoot and slash.

I'm thinking Melvin Ejim of Iowa St. Although he's only 6'6", dude is athletic and long. He's also a senior that is ready to contribute.

Dude is averaging 19 points and 9 rebounds. He'll be available to us late in the first round.

If we could get a hold of Aaron Gordon! Whew! Blake Griffin and Blake Griffin 2.0 on the same team. I also like Aaron Craft. Doc may like his defense

Bogdanovich then let him sit in Europe a while longer, so he can develop his game on someone else's time and money and keep our roster spots open for more polished players.

I don't know what position we should go after in this draft. And I am all for going after a big but with our pick likely in the mid to late 20's it's not likely we get a big who can contribute.I think our best bet would be using our BAE to get a back up PG and our MLE getting a back up big. Then drafting a wing player and hoping for the best.We got a nice young player in Bullock who hasn't done anything this year but in the little time you see him he plays with confidence and has a good looking shot. Those are players you can work with and mold. This is a good draft so it will be interesting to see who we get.

I think a big would be a great idea to draft a big, but in the event a good one is not available at our spot we should draft the best available player and trade him for pieces we may need

I two think we should draft a Big, my two dream pics would be Adrian Payne and I'd like to take a shot at Isaiah Austin if he's not Drafted. But I think we need to start keeping Draft pics like the Spurs do. It's one thing to sign Vets and Proven players but they can come at a Higher Price for less years and often don't always pan out. I think we should sustain our team through the Draft, I remember at one time Portland Had Jermaine O'neal, Zach Randolph, Playing behind Rasheed Wallace in Portland at one time or another, so you just don't want to give up a good player for the sake of a Veteran when it really isn't necessary. And I really don't see allot of Big's I like out there who would be worth giving up a good prospect, especially not in this years draft witch is riddled with good players if not Superstars. Plus too me it's better to have Good prospects on your team that way if they show flashes of Brilliance you can flip them for an even better player then you would by giving him up right off the bat, and who knows if we get lucky and we draft 2 or 3 good prospect the return's would be even greater. I think we just did that this year with Bledsoe as did the Rockets when they got Harden.

Aaron Craft!! Perfect insurance if Collision opts out. We keep Crawford and get a big scorer (or keep Davis), he can run the second team efficiently IMO.

Cauley-Stein woukd be sweet. He's D.J. 2.0 with better potential with offensive touch but less pure athleticism. Great lateral feet for a big man.

With dj going into his last year of his current contract next year, I think we should get the best Center out there if there are any GOOD prospects left, if not, get the best left of ANY position as possible trade bait for what we may ACTUALLY NEED.

Tyson Chandler will be a FA at the same time, him and Paul have a great relationship. IF it doesn't work out money wise with DJ, Chandler might be a decent short term fix while we groom another Center.

Way too early on who we might pick. Let see how some players perform in March madness tourney and where we might pick from. Players rise and fall come draft day. With that said, right now at the 25th pick, NBA draft and Draft Express has us picking Montrezl Harrell PF from Louisville.

I like Cleanthony Early out of Wichita State. I think whoever drafts him is going to get s steal. I know we are deep at SF, but we can move Bullock to the 2 in the future if need be. Barnes and Duds may not be around much longer.

I like James Young. He's really young (no pun intended) and could still grow after draft day like Paul George.

We've also had recent good luck with drafting Calipari's players. Bledsoe was a steal for us. Let's do it again.

In recent years our draft has changed. We're no longer a team looking for an immediate impact player right away in the draft. When you draft this late, trading a pick for a solid role player or cash, or a future pick is a great strategy. As is drafting a guy over seas who can develop, or a young player you can develop and use as an extra body to fill the roster.

I think the team needs to go with drafting someone to give us depth, who yields the most potential in the future. Dj has really come around, CP3 and Blake will be starting for years. Bullock looks to be a guy the team hopes can fill in at the 2 or 3 in the future. I say we get another guy who is strictly a SF, or a big man. But, like I said, go with the guy who has the most potential in the long run.

We aren't going to turn heads in the draft by nabbing a guy like DJ this late again. You draft for depth and potential where we will pick plain and simple.

Is the Aaron Gordon - Blake Griffin Comparison Fair?

This guys has nuclear athleticism , but is he better or equal to Blake. I do not know if you guys have been watching March Madness , but I have been looking close at some guys that could be available to the Clippers come draft time.

Aaron Gordon may be taken. Nik Stauskas could still be available , but its projected the Nuggets could take him a few picks ahead of us. There are a few bigs out there , but I am a Michigan fan. I like Morgan, McGary, and Stauskas -- HE IS REALLY JJ LIKE!

Back to it. This Aaron Gordon kid is elite. He is compared to Blake a lot and I think they are similar.

Blake averaged 18 points 12 rebounds 2 assist and 1 block Aaron averages 13 points 8 rebounds 2 assist and 1 block

(Off-topic) I think DJ has a lot of fun playing here with the Clippers. Has a great relationship with Blake. I think we think long-term w/ our money and create enough space for him.

(On-topic) I say we draft a solid big who can shoot and box-out
