This.

Add in Dudley being demoted and the starting wings and Pg are doing what we suspected from them but suppose to be off the bench.

Aaw, man. Clips got my hopes up in that 4th Q.

Just dug ourselves too deep a hole, but fought back valiantly. I still think we could take Miami in 7 if we were at full strength.

If we'd only had SOMETHING from anyone else but Blake, Jamal and DJ, we could have beaten the champs without 2 of our top 3 scoring options. 5 points from the bench is pitiful.

Would have liked to see Jamal go to the rack more... make the refs make calls. Although they fouled more, it seemed like Miami made their fouls count... a lot of ours were weak.

Straight up beast game from Blake. No, I would not trade him for LeBron.

I watch in the ESPN and I heard them talking that CP3 will play on Friday.

Dudley, from the bench is not producing, I think he is not motivated after he sign with us for how many years? I am not really a fan of him even if he is already a clippers, I hate him when he said that he is not coming to Clippers because we are like a JV (Junior Varsity).

I like Dudley as a person. He's a good dude.. I just wish he would knock his shots down.. I wouldn't mind him being here.. but he just isn't producing.. Sad

Skip bayless had the rockets 3rd and us after them. We are better than the rockets. Not sure how they can have a debate about the clippers v heat when our starting back court was out.

What's all the more impressive about Blake's performance was how hard earned it was. Usually when Blake puts up 40 it's because he's on fire, and incredibly efficient. Last night he put up a lot of shots, aggressively earned his way to the FT line. It was dominant in every way. Because he had to be. It was almost like a determined effort to have a big game, instead of just being "one of those nights".

didn't get to watch the game so I don't want to comment on highlights. But I need a confirmation from you guys on this...Sasha is in the books for 1 MINUTE of playing time and his +/- is shown as -11.

Did he really play only 1 minute in this game and we lost that minute by 11points? That is really hard to do, got to be a typo right?

Ha, that is amazing. He came in and Ray Allen made a shot on him for an and-1. He may have come in at the end of another quarter, but that has to be a typo on the -11

^ Nope. It's actually correct. Battier hit a couple of 3's at the end of the first and beginning of the 2nd, there was Allen's and-1 and he was on for a couple of LeBron FT's.

Just click on the play-by-play tab...

Prime Ticket had a replay broadcast today of last night's game and I was able to watch the fourth quarter that I missed as objectively as I could, knowing the final outcome. I have to say that the Clippers played with heart, fought really hard, and didn't give up. It was astounding that they hustled until the very end. There were some awful turnovers and those Miami deflections were fierce, but I was proud of the team for bouncing back. Pretty darn good effort when you consider that CP3 and JJ were out. It would've have helped had Dudley....

What killed us was defense pure and simple. Getting behind 20 pts and getting carved up inside. No rotations, no perimeter defense. Was it 75 pts first half? Our offense was OK but ultimately they played like Champions. If only they could win on TNT. Barkley now has up #2 n the West. He won't call us "Tissue paper" any more.

We should have handed them their heads on a plate. You would have thought they figured out something but they got carved up second half. I'm sure Matt's hand is bothering his shooting. On one of those bunnies he missed he got fouled.

I don't know if I've ever seen a player in Beast Mode like BG. He physically challenged LBJ. James once tried to drive to the rack and BG made him pass it. Bosh couldn't stop him. At this level he's right behind Durant as MVP. FT's and a jumper and it will be close.

Another subject. Did anybody see the Cliff Paul comm with Kenny Smith and Ernie? He has one tremendous agent. With all this $$ would he really have gone to Houston? Probably but he would have given it a bit of thought. Is he the highest paid player overall in the NBA?

A sad note. Oden went to the locker room after only a few minutes. I pray he's OK

If he continues to play at the level he played against Miami who is better except Durant? He out beasted LeBron. Miami is an elite team. While winning helps it does not always. Except missing FT's this was an MVP performance. He should have had 46 if he had his usual 70%+. When was the last time anybody saw a game like that by a guy who took only a few outside shots? Posterizing gets more votes that a jumper. Nobody can stop Durant but who can stop Blake if he's like that every game? It has been said by a lot of commentators that he may become unguardable. When Paul gets back they should be a two man wrecking crew especially since Blake is capable of running the offense. People have been calling him the next Malone and he may be.

You're also forgetting that he has high visibility. Commercials don't hurt, they make him a household name. Why was Kobe an allstar when he didn't play?

My point is that a team's success matters - we aren't beating elite teams without cp3 - i won't argue that blake deserves to be in conversation, but you can't put him ahead of lebron, Paul George, or maybe even Lamarcus
