Memphis is climbing in the ranks and it looks like they can make the #7 seed if not better... If they turn out making the #7 seed and we end up with #2....... Are you serious....

True we have a different team and I don't think we'd have a problem taking care of them... But in all honesty... I really don't want to pay them "again"

Perfect world would be Dallas or Phx in first round, Portland in second, meet OKC in West finals...but I guess we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves...

We will see where we stand this wednesday... I honestly expect to Blow out the Blazers and if we do... I think were fine Wink. Blake needs to put LA in his place. Is JJ going to return? Our team isn't still 100 percent... Team is going to practice tomorrow which will be nice... I can only see us doing better... Almost every power ranking has us 4th in the NBA. #1 OKC #2 Indiana #3 Heat #4 Clippers. I honestly thing that is the east and west finals right there.

I'd be happy to take anyone on. The only team that somewhat scares me is OKC because of that one guy who's really good at basketball.

I'm not that worried about memphis. Blake and DJ aren't the players they were last year. With Randolph slowly declining, I don't see the Griz beating us.

Even though this might be the best first round series, I would want to avoid a 2-7, or 3-6 match-up with the Warriors. They got so many weapons, when they're hot, they can beat anyone.

This wednesday game against Portland could be for the #3 if OKC takes care of Portland tuesday.

I would like to play PHO, DAL or HOU first round(in that order)

And avoid MEM, GSW.

Hopefully we can avoid OKC til the Conference Finals.

I'm not worried about beating the Griz.... I just don't like how they like to Injure our players... that is all. With a high seed we wouldn't see okc until the Western Conference Finals.

I'd like Dallas or Houston in the first. Be nice to face Portland in round 2, but realistically I think we'll have to get through the Spurs in order to face OKC.

Too far ahead for me to ponder this,a long way to go. Blake looking like he was going down last night is enough for me to worry about the now.

But I would gladly go to my grave never having to see that Mem team in the playoffs.

With our schedule being so easy the rest of the way. I can see us getting the #1 seed this year. That would be crucial this year to get to the finals

I think we will be stuck at 4, the closest we can go up is 3. OKC and Spurs will be at 1 and 2.

I think we can sneak up on to 2, but that would be tough. I don't see OKC giving up that spot, but two is realistic. We can actually make a big jump towards it these next few games. Beat Portland and San Antonio and we are right there.

As far as Memphis goes, I would like that match up. How good would it be to be to sweep them? I think we are a far superior team to them now. Doc isn't going to get beat by one player. Blake is on a whole different level now. DJ is probably the most improved. Running after Redick in comparison to Chauncey is a whole different problem for them.

I doubt we go into the playoffs without adding a back up big and/or making a trade for a better defensive 3. If we upgrade those two spots, I wouldn't be to scared of anybody in the league. The only team that would kind of scare me right now is Indiana and we won't see them until the Finals. If we don't upgrade those two spots then OKC can be scary, but I think Durant and Blake could cancel each other out. I would just bet on Doc every time if he is going against Brooks with similar talent. I think of Brooks as the defensive version of Vinny. Not saying we can't lose, but don't think there's any team we can't beat.

Portland has OKC tomorrow, I hope they lose. They then play us on the road on the second night of the back to back which is how we played them last time.

Clippers have to control their own destiny.

If Portland loses tomorrow and loses again to the Clips on Wednesday, they are 36-17

Clippers with that win would be 37-18 and 0.5 games back from Portland. Coming back from the break, we would have the Spurs at home, and San Antonio then plays Portland the next night in the second of a back to back. San Antonio pulling off the win against them would be great, but that's another win that is needed.

Clippers would be at 38-18 with those two wins, while Portland could fall to 36-18 if they loose all three, but the SA game is a good spot for them, so I could see 37-17.

Basically just have to outpace them the rest of the way.

I don't think the Blazers are as people make them out to be.

We almost beat them last time without Redick and only 3 players in double figures in points.

I think we can beat the suns, rockets, grizzlies and Mavs without a problem.

Thunder, Spurs, and the coward team from up north are the only teams that can give us a challenge

In no rush to go against Memphis we got beat up again by their counter big three (Conley, Z-Bo and Gasol) last game against them and that was at home at full strength. Not trying to go into another post season against them when they have even better big man depth than last year and Doc has shown no signs of having interest in a primary third long big man. Let them miss the playoffs or beat up on OKC. Also no I'm not counting the blowout win with no Marc Gasol.

I need to see another regular season match up against the Suns because I think they are a bigger threat when fully healed. Everyone else I think we can take if we go into the playoffs healthy.

I definitely do NOT want Memphis. I'd like our stars to be healthy in the playoffs for once instead of beaten down by their thug players. I also don't want to play Golden State - as much as I hate to admit it, they just have our number. I'm fine with anyone else.

No.1 seed? OKC are winning, winning, winning without their second best player. No.2 maybe!

They're not missing their second-best player - as far as I know, the refs are still perfectly healthy.

That Portland OT loss in December better not come back to haunt us...although I think we will pass Portland either way. San Antonio and Houston may be toughest competition for 2-3 seeds.

Think we have a good chance in any series except against the Thunder, they are the team to beat. Praying for Memphis to take on Thunder in 1st round, Memphis could very well win, or lose and cause OKC some costly injuries.

No reason to be too afraid of OKC, we've already beat them once this year, with Westbrook playing and Barnes only playing 8 minutes for us. They would be favored, but it's not impossible. We've barely had our whole team healthy at the same time the entire season, we are better than our record.

I don't even know why ya'll are sweating Memphis right now. They are NOT NOT in the playoff picture many games behind Dallas. We just have to beat Portland and the way we're playing that seems quite feasible. I want to beat them after the way we lost in OT.

It's one of those situations where you have to find your advantage for them to have to matchup against, but OKC is just very well rounded and I'm not sure the Clippers have any. Their bench is more talented than ours if you're looking overall.

Ibaka can't match Blake, but he produces enough where Blake's production alone can't be expected to make up the vast difference in SF production. Despite all the criticisms we can find, they still have a top level PG. They are a top 5 defensive team. Interestingly, I don't remember Durant specifically having great success against the Clippers, which is obviously nice, but a playoff series is a different story.

Memphis had Gasol and Allen each miss about 20 games. They are like 17-10 (.630) or something with Gasol, a 52 win pace when he plays. Their record obviously doesn't reflect their ability, and Dallas and Golden State are both currently on a 49 win pace.

Memphis is 27-23 (.540)

Golden State and Dallas are 31-21 (.596)

Memphis will need a good run, but they aren't that far out. Either way, I really don't care, lol

I'd like to keep the standings as they are now, with one exception: Memphis gets in over Dallas. I think Memphis will play a physical series with the Thumder, wearing them out, while I think we could dispatch the Rockets pretty easily. Spurs get the Ws, who could get hot and make it a series. Portland gets the suns, who I see as the big wildcard. 2nd round, Portland and Spurs duke it out, while we play a worn down OKC. It'll be a battle, but I like our odds. Spurs/Blazers should be a great series, wearing them down, we get a tired team in the conf. Finals.

We're 1-1 in playoff series against them and last time we lost because we had no clue how to play defense and Blake got injured. Meh, nothing to be scared of really. Not to mention we have a different Blake Griffin offensively.

We barely beat them most of the games in the first series and they kicked our butts four times in a row in the second.

I don't think we match up well with them and to be honest I'm bored of it. I'd rather see another series.

It's unfair to judge based on 1 game. Sure, we barely had a healthy team entire season, but Westbrook's been out for a loong time as well. You can say Blake and DJ improved, but so has REggie Jackson and Ibaka.

Right now if Clips and OKC play 100 times, I say we'd win maybe around 30 times. They can play good defense at every position, we can't.

Chris Paul is our best perimeter defender. best at running through screens. However he's just not athletic enough to keep up with Westbrook's speed. And if we don't get a better defensive SF, I can easily see KD dropping 40 ppg, especially if Dudley becomes starter again.

Not worried about losing to Memphis. Worried about them injuring our players....

Dudley played big minutes both times we played them this year and Durant has averaged less than his season average against us this year. Almost all our best wins this year came with Dudley playing big minutes (OKC, Spurs, both Houston games, @Dallas, @Memphis, Golden State) in worse physical condition than is in now, as much as he's struggled he hasn't really held us back that much most of the time.

I don't know if Westbrook really helps them much this year, he takes shots from Durant and Durant is scoring so well, nobody should take shots from Durant. For the most part they've done slightly better without Westbrook this year. Either way though our win was with Westbrook playing.

OKC is one of the reasons I'd love to have Ivan "the terrible" Johnson. If we can throw him at Ibaka and just make life uncomfortable for everyone that would be great on their team that would be great. I want someone on our team that can throw some weight around. As of right now Blake is the only guy that can do that, you would think Dudley could for as big as he looks; but that's not his game.

A young Barnes like player that pokes and prods players, trying to get under their skin would be nice too. I think Barnes has grown out of that stage, and we got all guys that play in a very respectful manner which is great. I miss having Stak5 too, I think he had a major hand in Blake's attitude change. Blake even mentioned Stak in an interview not too long ago, something along the lines about Stak saying he was unguardable. Wish we could have played Stak into shape, just like we did with Odom last year.
