I lol at the fact that the Warriors are in Eighth Place and Mark Jackson is probably on his way out. And Memphis is right on their heels. Rockets quietly on a 7-game winning streak ,....

Meh, no big deal. We played more games...and we've had arguably the tougher schedule. Our second half is supposed to be a bit easier.

Hey both played like dog meat the last time they played head to head (Aldridge and love). I laugh that david lee thinks he belongs in the conversation. The warriors tears are delicious. We are so much better than they are, clips need to get them out of their heads.

I think our rook played his way into some more minutes. Good job, Reggie.

Best PF's

  1. Blake

  2. Love

  3. Bosh

  4. LMA

  5. Dirk (Almost wanted to put at #4)

Blake has really separated himself from every PF, he's putting up Love-type #'s with Griffin-type wins. Bosh is probably the most underrated player in the league right now which is weird when you are considered part of a Big 3. I would put Dirk ahead of LMA if the Mavs were winning just a tad bit more which they have been doing lately, but soon Dirk will pass LMA.

Don't get many calls shooting 30-footers.

For sure, but don't get too excited. Doc isn't known as a lover of rookies.

Absolutely, man. I don't have the blind rookie-love that some guys here do... (cough... Trey Thompkins... cough).

Portland is the definition of a soft team lol. All night

I was screaming just get physical with them and watch

them start disappearing.

Blake and DJ started getting physical with LMA and he got quiet

as a church mouse.

If you let him stand at 17ft untouched he'll

murder you all game.

Great win for the team. CP3 proving why he is the

best PG in the world, and why anyone that was saying trade

him should be shot.

On a side note. Bullock is looking really good. Might

be time to get him some more minutes.

Stotts seemed to imply it as well. Sore losers, they play the most finesse brand of basketball I've ever seen. Blake is grinding it out In The paint. They sent DJ to the line intentionally at least twice, they need to be quiet

I almost forget about Trey "No Trey Ball" Thompkins. He was our Mullens before Mullens and Brian Cook was our Mullens before everybody.

This was a great team win!

I'm excited to see this team with a healthy roster. Most of these teams are starting to click yet we haven't had a healthy team for most of the season, but are still tied for #3 in the west.

If the defense starts to click by the end of this season I think we have a really great chance to make it to the finals.

That's bogus, obviously there are going to be bad calls in any game, but I didn't see too many bad calls help us. On the other had, it seemed the refs were quick to swallow their whistle against us unless we missed the shot..

They should have been earlier, but as division leaders, we're guaranteed top 4. We're tied in games over .500, but since we've played 2 more games, they have a slight edge in win %

Sure, the choking hurt them, but their 6 point possession really helped keep them in it, it all balances out at some point.

I have been for K'LO and LA as the two best PF in the Game with BG 3rd, but "Man", I just look at BG game as a Whole scoring in the Post, on the Perimeter and on the Fast Break to go along with his hustle points, and I just can't find a more Well Rounded Big Man that's just Beasting at every level like BG. I have to say the Last Month or so he's been the Best Big Man in Basketball and Playing like a top 5 player. I just don't think anybody is better than him at PF or C right now. And I think besides the Hatters, everybody has started to come to this conclusion as well.

This game was a huge telling point for me when it comes to who the best is. Good thing CP3 was back for this one, I was Hopping it would be the Case.

I am still concerned about our small forward/backup big situation. Need to try to make a move at the deadline and not be afraid of disrupting chemistry. like last year. Turkoglu is not so bad but that's it.

DJ didn't do a bad job but a ten foot wall on wheels couldn't have stopped LMA.

What's up with BG? He schooled LMA in the paint. That drive was LeBronesque. Bunny layups? Where did that come from. Every game a new weapon. This guy may be unstoppable by PO's. Also he's getting more calls since he's being so aggressive. Maybe they think he has to earn his fouls like if plays tough he'll get them.

This is great news to wake up to.

I am a bit confused as to why Houston are above us in the standings even though they have a marginally worse percentage and we are division leaders and they aren't?

That's what I was hoping for, and what I heard worked against LA the night before. Perkins bodying him up early and making him uncomfortable. DJ doesn't do this as much as I'd want him to. Which I would think for as fast as he is, he would be more comfortable with doing it than most centers.

I also would like them going to DJ a bit more on the offensive side when guards aren't sneaking over to help. If you are going to throw Robin on Blake then make LA work on both ends. Blake does a better job of bodying up, but LA has pretty good height advantage on him.

Great win, I was frustrated with all the contested 3's they were making. Mo was pissing me off, he seemed to be trying to get chippy with our guys throughout the game. DJ was frustrating me with all the ball watching, but those clutch FT's and the late steal made up for it.

This is how Blake's improved free throw shooting has helped his game A LOT. He is no longer afraid of drawing fouls.

In fairness, it's not just Blake and CP3, Jamal DJ and Collison help us win also especially Jamal and DJ who hit their very important FT to nail the game.

Both Dudley and Bullock put in good shifts last night, Barnes not as much but he had done ok the few games before that. Bullock getting any minutes that would normally go to Green would be fine from here out. Our wing play has some possible solutions without making any moves; worst case we just use Paul-Crawford and one of Collison or Redick late.

Our bigs on the other hand are a mess, I'm fairly confident we'll add one, although I'm thinking a scrap free agent is probably more likely than a trade; maybe a really low end trade like our Bledsoe trade exception for a cheap big could work.

Bullock can't be trusted in the post season - he is a rookie who is barely playing. Barnes and Dudley are incredibly sub par compared to their equivalents on other teams, especially in west.

We can't even use that trade exception unless we send something out. We're within approx. 1.5mil of the hard cap. It's got to be trades or Hedo-type signings. Slim pickings

Our other SF's are not lighting the world on fire. Got to give the kid a chance in real games with extended minutes. Tonight he looked good.

Think the back up bigs played well considering limited play. Hedo did his job helping run the defense and Hollins got a key putback and charge called late in the game. Pefrect situation Hollins would be our third C though. Would be nice to have a third big body big that is why I am for getting Jason Thompson for our bench.

Can anyone tell me out of experience where is a good place to sit for my next clippers game? I was looking at the premieres, which one is better, pr2, pr1, or pr11? If anyone can let me know id appreciate it, thanks.

He is definitely earning and has earned more minutes. He plays more aggressive than and is a better defender and rebounder than Dudley. It really just makes a lot of sense to develop him and bring him in the rotation more. Especially with the playoffs getting closer

I think Bullock be first SF off the bench, to give Barnes a rest.

Man that Reggie impressed me, that beautiful fastbreak contested layup, and the 3 with a hand in his face, he's not bad on defense, I was actually surprised he was taken out rather quickly.

Don't think thats going to happen this season. Next year he'll get more time and be an intricate part of the rotation. Long term he's in the Clippers plans and that's why I don't think he'll be involved in any dead line trade deals....unless something to good to be true falls into our lap.

I suppose, but this game felt very winnable for us. The offense really broke down there at the end, forcing up bad shot after bad shots. Meanwhile, the Clippers got it together on defense and made us pay for our mistakes.
