Well, if Blake can't have the MVP.... then neither can Durant. That makes me feel better at least.

He shot pretty poorly during 3pt contest as well, hence the reason warriors are 8th despite all the hype preseason, live by the jumper, die by the jumper

The fact that Blake's so big, strong, and quick, and that he can posterize anyone, makes me think his game is perfect for the All Star games. As everyone already knows, nobody plays defense in these games (who's going to want to get in his way and be posterized or give a hard foul in an exhibition game). All this leads me to believe that Blake's eventually going to win a couple All Star MVPs, for what it's worth. But I think we can all agree that a NBA Finals MVP would be much better.

Damn Durant stole Blake's MVP tonight. Several plays Blake was wide open for a dunk and he chucked up a 3

Well we all know K.love can't even pretend to play defense, so I thought I'd mention it today. In the last few minutes there was an attempt to play defense from some players (not K.love or Harden). Scott Brooks made some pretty biased substitutions and played a line up near the end that bricked so hard you could build a mansion.

Durchoke tries so hard to win All-Star MVP because it's the only award he'll ever win. LeBron will swoop in and take his regular season MVP away just like last year and we all know that the only way he's winning a ring is if the refs give every team he faces the 2002 Kings treatment.

To be honest, Blake always plays well in All Star Games. This is why I think he's ideal for Team USA. He just fits well with others.

I hope fans got their fill of curry in this game and don't vote for him as much next year Paul is perfect for this game and so is griffin. Love was playing team ball so I don't mind, but Aldridge was a dud too.

This is just for entertainment, an All Star game where star player just play offense, nobody do a defense, if you miss your shoot it's your fault. Smile

Skip Bayless wasn't impressed with Blake because he thinks BG had "18 dunks". lol

I mean BG did have a couple of layups and 3 jumpers so...

These idiots just slay me (Bayless etal),if Blake did nothing but shot jump shots they would bitch because he can't dunk. Eff them. I think they criticize more out of jealousy then any other reason. They want to be like Blake.

Soon we are going to hear that he is only 25% for 3 pointers when he shots them.

What's funny is that Skip loved LBJ. What did LBJ do beside dunk on offense, in the game? See how stupid Skip is?

I think that fluid build up is actually better than draining it. It's like a cushion for his elbow.

Hibbert has that also.

I thought CP3 was by far the best point guard out there. He really did try to get his teammates involved. His command of the game was evident. Steph Curry and Damian Lillard, on the other hand, didn't have that overall finesse in getting all teammates involved. Curry had an off night for sure. And what was up with Durant? I'm a fan, but he was a supreme ball hog. He probably wanted that All-Star MVP decal to add to his warmup jacket, lol. Durant and Harden could make a run for Kobe's ball-hogging

Blake should have received that MVP award. He was phenomenal. He's made for this kind of exhibition game and he treated us fans to a lot of spectacular plays.

Gotta give BG props. Even with his own point guard on the team, it is very difficult for a big man to come close to winning All Star MVP...unless he's grabbing 20 rebounds and getting his own putbacks. Because All Star MVP's these days are almost always ball handlers. Guards like Paul, Kobe or Kyrie or ball handling forwards like KD and LBJ. Not everyone can break a Wilt record. Blake really is something special.

I'm not sure why skip is so invested in hating on griffin. I think he was probably always picked last in school for sports and he resents physically gifted players.

I dunno. He claims Blake didn't do enough to help Oklahoma win games, claiming the "book" on Blake was you could knock him around and he would wilt. Even though Blake was only a sophomore and actually averaged 28.5 points and 15 rebounds a game in his last NCAA Tournament run.

He needs to find a new punching bag since he can't attack Lebron and "Westbrick" anymore. Now he is targeting Blake and to a lesser extent Durant. Also said some nonsense about CP3 too.

The thing is Stephen A Smith has been changing his tune lately about Blake, really praising him. However today on First Take he claims BG holds a grudge against Smith because of the whole "soft" issue. Smith once again claiming he was only "reporting" what he was told and it's not his fault and BG shouldn't be so "sensitive". The problem with this, however, is that Smith was PREACHING IT LIKE IT WAS GOSPEL. Completely disregarding the damage such allegations can do to a young player, Smith was really laying it on thick and Blake had to hear that crap all off-season long. Smith even started to agree with Skip that Steph Curry should have been taken over Blake in the draft.

So, I'm sorry Stephen A Smith. Don't give me this horse crap about how you were only reporting what you heard. I'd hold a grudge too. I would have told Smith to kick rocks to his face. And anyone who's prepared to do damage to someone's reputation should also prepare for the resentment that follows.
