Yeah, his constant movement made our offense so dynamic.

I'm pretty sure Redick's injury was on the fall against the kings. That cousins' bush league move on him really F'd us up. What's funny is that Cousins is very good friends with Zbo and I remember last playoffs, Cousins told ZBo to make sure they kick our asses. This season, both those guys took out 2 of our players. Cousins took out Redick and Zbo took out Barnes with that punk swing move that messed up Barnes' eye.

Can't stand both those guys.

We need to hard foul Cousins send in Hollins and get that epic knock out or ten day Metta for the elbow.

Hahahaha i like a 10 day for Metta but honestly, don't bother to destroy Cousins, he and his Kings are only fighting with the Lakers at the bottom.

I quite liked the 10 day Metta World Peace elbow idea Wink

I'm guessing that's a rehash of the JJ Adande note from a few days ago. That Adande quote hasn't been confirmed anywhere else and Dan Woike said JJ shot for the first time 2 days ago which, assuming it went well and he shoots again soon, is encouraging

I cannot stand Metta or the thought of him on our tea,but a 10 day for the purpose of clobbering cousins has me on board.

There are no big men (back up center is what we need) left out there anyway.

I really want JJ to come back soon. I like his movement and his shot is so clutch.

Would feel so much more confident if JJ were able to come back. Is there anything he could do medicine wise to fight through and play like a brace and shot into the back? Wish we had a time table for him.

I'm hoping the fact that jj is allowed to shoot is a good sign.

agreed, if he's really that hurt, he wouldn't be out there getting reps in. I think he's closer than people expect.

With JJs Injury the term "indefinitely" is the correct word. Buldging Disc are no fun , but indefinitely just means there is no defined timetable. Honestly JJ could....

We are only at 2 weeks from the 3-5 week original prognosis. Hopefully that talk about the "rest of the season" stuff from JA Adande and others was bogus.

too late they can only help us until the end of regular season comes playoff they will just be sitting in the bench.

I think it's time that we prepare ourselves mentally for a possible no show by Redick for the remainder of the regular season. Clipper*Joe's comparison between Billups and Redick is comingturning out to be quite prophetic. I think we also experienced the same issue with Billups towards the end of the season last year, where the projected time of return kept extending further. Also, like the Billups situation I have a feeling we will keep Redick on the bench and save him for playoffs.

Yeah, now that Barnes is skating on thin ice with the league regarding fighting we would benefit from an enforcer. I would have loved to hold on to Stephen Jackson for that reason alone, but I understand why we let him go.

I know you're all prepared for the worst (and I don't blame you, considering the Clippers's history), but I still think JJ will be back a game or two before the playoffs. That he's shooting is a great sign.

Here's a good article by Steve Perrin on what a bulging disk (video) actually is and what types of excersises JJ (another YouTube video) is probably doing to hopefully alleviate the necessity of surgery. Good info. I think he'll be really for the PO's.

Feel like JJ is our x factor this year. When he plays well seems like we play/execute well as a team resulting in wins

I'm starting to fear there's a 50-50 chance JJ's out for the season. Doc wasn't optimistic at all about JJ today, said it doesn't look good, anything can happen.

As a Lakers fan rooting for the LOS ANGELES Clippers to win it all (I will be in Vegas next week and will put a hundred down -- hopefully at 12-1), I can tell you it is hard to change your mindset that is built up over years. Yes, we still think Tiger will win the Masters. That the Yankess will win the World Series. That Tom Brady will win the Super Bow.l

But reality does bite. Things change. The past is not a foolproof predicter of the future.

Face facts. The Lakers suck. The Clippers are on the verge of greatness.

And this will likely be the shape of things to come for the next five years or more,

Enjoy the ride, I can tell you it is fun.

And the twelve hundred bucks I will win will be FUN. FUN!!!!!!

I don't think they are at12-1. I put $100 at the start of the season and they were a 10-1. Sucks if the odds are even better now.

Might have gotten longer with JJ's injury and LeBron's 61 point game, making the Heat prohibitive favorites in the Vegas oddsmakers eye. I get there Monday. It might change either way ya know.

Big shot was old, too old to expect a come back from an Achilles tear. JJ will be fine. But to be honest, Doc's quotes are the biggest non story in this whole thing. JJ was up and shooting and moving around and he doesn't know if that's good news are not? and expected JJ almost back by now. All I heard from those quotes is that Doc isn't sure yet.

^ I think Doc is letting the team doctors dictate when JJ is ready. The original diagnosis was 3-5 weeks, I think we still have 2-3 more weeks left on that timetable. A lot can happen by then. I'm sure Doc wants JJ back just as much as we do, but Doc isn't the kind of guy to show his cards number 1, and number 2, he doesn't like getting peoples hopes up. If these comments were made in a week or 2, I'd be more worried I think.

I don't want jj back unless he's 95 or better. Even if it it means no minutes UNTIL the po's start. I'd rather he come off the bench then, than come out earlier and....

I'm actually thinking that JJ is a better fit for the bench when both 2s come back. Ball dominant Collison and Crawford didn't seem to coexist well in the short time we saw them together. I think Crawford is a great scoring option in the first unit, and Paul moves the ball well enough for that team to succeed together. If we can get Granger to be that 3&D guy we'll be really tough to stop with our first team.

Crawford and collison played a lot together as starters and were totally fine. Jj if healthy should start because his off ball movement spreads the floor better than Crawford does.

Can we buy him out?

So messed up to see him this way.

Why would you buy him out? He's a very good Shooting Guard in this league and has the chance to be a break out guard in the playoff or next year. He's basically Ray Allen. You don't buy out a guy like that.

And we have him for 3 year.
