I'm a big fan of Tyler Zeller. I think he can be amazing for us. He's on his rookie contract for the next 3 years.

Dudley and a 2nd round pick for Zeller might do it. I would also love a Barnes/Green/2nd round pick for Zeller/Clark

We've dodged two bullets in under 12 hours. No iman trade and now no Hawes trade. Good. He's not going to pan out on that Cavs team, mark my words. Tyler Zeller seems like a great, cheap piece to add who averages about 9/6 when playing 20+ minutes, which I think might be around how much we play him.

It would be smart to trade Bullock for Zeller, but I would be so bummed if Bullock isn't on our team after noon today.

I would give up a future first and second for Zeller and another first for JT if both teams take our expiring and one of Barnes or Dudley. Two future firsts for two young big men off the bench with good length contracts is a steal.

Would rather do something like this...

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ky5yqwn

Cavs might not want to take Dudley's 3 years, but it's a little better than Jack's 4. They get a prospect in Reggie. Wiz get their backup point. Future picks and/or cash to smooth out any rough edges.

I love what reggie brings by that trade would make a lot of sense. Not sure if the Cavs would want Dudley but bullock would obviously be a great pickup for them.

I like that trade a lot. Webster is an instant upgrade over Dudley and Zeller will still be on our team if god forbid we can't re-sign DJ next summer.

That would be the point could trade 2019 and 2019 picks and get young players added in the even years, Don't think Tyler Zeller would fit the need on this team when he would be signed at minimum until 2017? Even more so this would be one and half years to test him out with DJ becoming an expiring. Zeller is well worth a future first and a second for a contender when he is on a good length deal.

As for Thompson I would be more hesitant but if it guaranteed BOTH bigs I would give in a 2019 first with top ten protection. The three team deal would land us two long bigs and clear out some roster wasted space. We need to go all in as soon as we can to win.

Zeller is only 23 and has upside. I am not excited about trading Bullock unless we get great value. Zeller is 7ft, 253 lbs, and is light on his feet. He is not a clodhopper with heavy slow feet. When he receives substantial minutes he has produced. He recently has 18 points and 15 rebounds in only 25 minutes. He also had 13 and 10 in only 21 minutes. Obviously, I would rather send Dudley and Mullins out to get him.

Zeller would be a good pickup. A young productive big who is improving. Supposedly Doc wanted Ainge to draft him back in 2012.

Zeller is the guy if we had to do something for Reggie young, cheap upside/long contract, and floor spacing. Would really prefer to add him with Reggie instead of replacing. Doc needs to keep pushing for the three team deal if we help the Cavs push Jack to the Kings their demands should lower to Barnes and a future 1st. We can send expiring and take JT then everyone wins.

Can someone explain why Evan Turner and Luol Deng aren't valid options in a move? Is it an asset issue or cap issue? Because now they are talking about taking a second rounder for turner and are lowering asks for Luol cause he won't resign with anyone. What would we need to do to lock one of these dudes up at the 3? Add one of them to Tyler zeller and watch out

I believe Zeller can be our Tiago Splitter. He's fundamentally sound, good pick n roll player and he's very athletic for his size.

He's also still developing. Pull the trigger Doc.

Is Zeller any good on defense? BC that's what we need a defensive minded big. I hate to see Bullock go. I liked him a lot, but if Zeller can help on defense then do the trade. We should really get on that Deng trade thoigh

Added a poll- would you do this trade? I wouldn't because the more pressing need is a 3 & D guy at the wings who is better than Barnes & Dudley. Bullock could be that guy actually if given the chance.

Quality big men with contracts like Zeller's are really valuable. I'd much rather have him at 1.6 mi-2.6 million for a couple more seasons than whatever Hawes is going to get. Bullock is promising, but it's easier to find cheap wings than bigs, so if the deal is there we should do it.

Don't get your hopes up for any deals. Everyone will ask for Bullock and that's apparently a dealbreaker even though he never plays.

Get a real GM, because this is a clown show.

Tyler Zeller is worth more than bullock and this is a fair trade. People don't trust doc after he recruited Mullens, resigned Hollins and traded for Dudley.

I like the idea of getting Zeller. He has more value than bullock, and despite some people thinking Bullock is better than Barnes and Dudley, that is irrelevant if he isn't getting minutes from the coach. Zeller would automatically get minutes over our bigs. I like this trade if it was to go down.

Were essentially trading this years 25th pick for last years 17th pick

Yea, no one can blame him for that. Hindsight is 20/20, and yes, if he knew Dudley would regress from about 4 years of consistent production, no duh he wouldn't have traded for him.

We got him to be an average player. $4M is what you pay for average role players, what did you think we were getting when we traded for Dudley? He was an average defender, average scorer (mid teens in starters minutes), average rebounder, very good shooter, that's what he was gotten to be. Any other expectation for $4M a year just doesn't make sense.

If he was playing average, there would be no reason to trade him. There's nothing wrong with average players at all. Problem is that both the SF's are playing like well below average players this season.

If the clippers trade zeller for bullock they will be make the wrong choice! Bullock given the chance can be a great player. Given the fact that we don't know if JJ will continue to be injured, bullock is the right fit to start. Clippers need to start Bullock along with Barnes and give Crawford the chance to help the 2nd unit The only ones who need to be shipped out are Duds Green Mullens

Be smart about this GM. Look what has happened to duds and mullens
