MWP is getting old and not as great of a defensive player as he used to be. Granger is lengthy and a good 3pt shooter/scorer in general. Granger is also good with moving his feet. Better pickup than MWP, at least I think.

I think he should hold an hour long special and at the end say he's taking his skills to south central and put on a Clipper hat lol

I just think we have always settled for low levels of chemistry and team play which is then exposed in the playoffs. Right now there are big gaps and we are playing well amidst those gaps not because of them. Davis fills one big gap and granger fills the other

Not sure if anything is eminent with Danny Granger but I can say this. If the #Clippers add him they'll be the deepest team in the #NBA

Los Angeles Clippers

Granger's father lives in L.A., and so does his younger brother. So, if Granger is mindful about transitioning his family life - he's also a husband and father of two twin babies - the quickest and easiest adjustment would be to sign with the Clippers.

Here's the setback: Granger's greatest attribute (his shooting) - the Clippers already have in spades.

Los Angeles ranks sixth in the NBA in overall shooting percentage (47.3) and that standing improves when factoring in free throws and 3-pointers. This season with the Pacers, Granger did not exactly have a hot spot but he launched 93 3-pointers (and an additional backcourt shot), far and away the most of any shots he attempted while on the court. Granger was accurate from the corner 3 (12 for 18 for 42 percent) but struggled everywhere else, hitting just 19-of-66 attempts from long distance.

But once again, an injury can lead to an opportunity for Granger. The Clippers' best shooter, J.J. Redick, is out indefinitely with a bulging disk in his back. Although Granger hasn't been as accurate as Redick this year, he can still offer the threat on the perimeter and make defenses respect his touch. Besides, who doesn't want to play with a point guard like Chris Paul? Cliff's twin brother makes the game easier for all around him.

With his dad and brother living in L.A., having a home here, chances are pretty darn good. Don't want to jinx it, but getting excited.

For me, Big Baby was the one that mattered. If we get Granger, fine. Better than an empty roster spot, but I think CTB is looking at him like he's our savior.

There may be some disappointment coming.

Why do people feel the need to say "two twins"? ...kinda redundant. It's not like anyone would think he was the father of one twin or three twins.

I'm not thinking of him as our savior. I just don't want to see dudley get minutes. Granger is another body that can help during the playoffs and defend other PFs if needed.

Danny would be a help and a sore if injured. Come playoff time we need everybody on board and not M.I.A..... Glad that we got Davis and can't wait to see him in action.

They could be Bi-Paternal Twins, which means they are twins that have different fathers. That would be an awkward situation if I've ever seen one.

I don't think too many people are thinking granger will be our savior but exactly what you are saying. Less Dudley = very positive and Barnes really shouldn't be a starter

Savior? No. Difference Maker? Yes. Upgrade? Yes. He could very well be the missing piece to this team. Not that I expect him to drop 25/6/3 every night , but I said the key to the....

If we signed Granger, we will try to make up our mistake almost 10 years ago when we draft the Russian kid instead of this stud. 10 years too late, maybe. But hopefully he will take us to the championship.

If he can just annoy Durant the way he annoyed James in their series 2'years ago, then I'll be satisfied

Is that even a thing? I mean, I know it's possible... but are they still considered twins or just concurrent births?

Just heard on espn that Spurs want Danny as a stretch 4, I think he'd like to play his natural position of a 3 plus there's all the other bonuses that were mentioned, just wanted to add to the list...

I just had a stupid argument with my brother who is a former laker fan now bandwagonner pacer fan.. He said that Danny Granger was a dead weight for the pacers, can't shoot 3's anymore and can't guard no one anymore. What got me even more mad is that He said that Dudley is far better than Granger right now.. Dud shooting .442 and Granger .359

Was Granger really that bad playing for the pacers this year?

If you have the like of g.paul taking over your team, yea it would trouble how you play despite injuries. Yes, Danny has said he doesn't mind his role but I doubt he really accepted that in his heart.

His numbers are similar to Barnes this year, bad shooting, fairly good rebounding. Dudley is shooting a good amount better than both of them for the year and has a lower turnover rate, but they both have rebounded much better. The Pacers played very defense good when he was on the floor this year.

I just hope Granger's healthy and prove everyone wrong when he signs with our team.. If Granger plays with us do you guys think Doc will start him or keep Matt on the starting line up?

They're both veterans, so Doc will probably start whoever is better. I think he would try starting Granger for a couple of games and see how it turns out. If it works out, great. If not, he'll put Matt back in the starting position.

The only problem right now for me is matt barnes who is playing terrific for us hitting 3's and grabbing boards but his attitude about getting traded is kinda bad, kept saying that his days for the clippers are numbered and bringing Granger in might affect him bad.. Matt coming of the bench again might frustrate him

The reason he is coming would be to start. That is what has been reported. If he is going to ride the pine he will sign with San Antonio. I doubt someone of his stature would be cool spelling matt barnes.

Maybe he also wants to here because he thinks we have a good as chance as anyone in the west, plus his family's out here. I think he'll get his minutes but I don't remember Doc showing his hand. I think he's smart enough to know, especially with his past injuries, he has to earn that spot. This isn't the Granger of 2009/10.

I had a bad feeling about this game as I was afraid the rockets might get the win and look to Granger like the better destination. However, this game, regardless of the outcome may very well illustrate why we would be the better fit for him.

With Crawfords injury Granger will be getting more minutes than anywhere else. He will sign here...especially if we win tonight. Mark my words!

If you heard Doc's pregrame presser. He sounded pretty confident Granger was signing.

I think that Danny will sign with us. We proved we can win tonight, and he will get the most PT and a prime destination for living here. May consume Crawford's minutes as well, assuming he won't be back by then. Hopefully, though, that is not the case for Crawford.

Granger can certainly have at least the minutes Turkoglu, Bullock and Green played tonight.

I would let Barnes rest his hand if Granger signs and use a SF rotation of Granger/Dudley against the Pelicans.

I think we have the best shot. We offer him the most optimal role as a team. In addition, we won't pressure him that much to score as long he can defend. I believe both Granger and Big Baby will be our X-factor. I will be foaming on my mouth if we get Granger.

Granger is our missing piece. We got a big who can defend, rebound, and shoot from mid-range, all we need now is a 3 who can shoot, rebound, and defend at a solid rate. If we pick him up, Doc plugged our 2 holes for Antwan and Mullens!!!! Gm of the year!
