I wouldn't called them scrubs, they have some very good unknown talent. Young, good up and coming team with tons of cap space and draft picks.

Again, we get to the FT line more the our opponent.

Matt Barnes channelled Jamal Crawford tonight.

Clips are feeling like a little brother that got pushed around for so many years and now he is starting to defend himself and fight back. Great Team Win! When your other players step up....

What a comeback win by the Clippers after a lackluster first half. Matt Barnes certainly the hero tonight with the absolutely huge 3's in the 3rd quarter. That's in addition to the excellent defense & cutting. If Matt didn't play, this game would have been a sure loss. CP, Blake, & DJ were below par in the first half, but they certainly turned up their game in the second half.

The bench had odd combinations as Doc Rivers seemed be experimenting, so there didn't seem to be too much synergy there. That hurt the team as the Suns bench outplayed the Clipper reserves.

Hopefully granger gets more burn. He won't ever be comfortable without some minutes

It's not a surprise the Suns bench plays well, their ranked 6th best in the league. Our bench, due to injuries and new faces is constantly in perpetual flux.

Not taking away from the rest of the teams contributions, I'm just saying which players stood out to me and without Matt's scoring spree in the 3rd qtr bringing us back in the game and DC defense and clutch shots, it would've been difficult for us to pull this one out.

Also during the game thread I gave props to other players individually for great plays like DJ, Cp3, Blake, etc...

I don't think that's having a terrible mentality or being negative.

I prolly should have re-worded it better. My bad.

I wish blake would crash the boards more - it's not just playing with dj because a ton of rebounds were there for the taking.

He just doesn't seem hungry for them. He should be getting around 10.

I hope Glen has a better game against the Lakers on Thursday. I also hope Danny gets some burn too. If Dudley still has his back spasms, we may see Danny play even more minutes then.

Great comeback win the bench will need more time for sure. Barnes won't give up his starting spot without a fight. If Doc does bench him he will be telling him because we need his great play helping the second unit.

Exactly. We all should pray we stay healthy and the synergy and chemistry is found by the time the playoffs come lol.

I like a second unit of Collison-Crawford-Granger-Davis- And i guess Turkgolu?

^ With collisons leadership and orchestrating the offense, Crawford being that firepower all star, danny granger for great wing defense and 3 balls, big baby for defense and hustle we should be good. Question is who runs the 5? Run DJ for like 35 -40 minutes in the playoffs? hopefully he can do it. all he really does is play defense I don't think that is asking much

I actually thought the Cavs were going to beat the Spurs but a good night overall.

Granger was not that bad. I saw some good defense and he always saw his man and saw the ball! Even tipped the ball away from the guy he was guarding with his long active....

We got the win. great job by barnes. I was going to come on say this was one of those games that we needed a 1st or 2nd string SG but they stepped up and got the W. Pretty amazing how this team can just turn it on and win a game in one quarter.

Talk about the trades that Aren't made, Matt Barnes and DC playing great. I'm haven't heard the :We Miss Bledsoe Talk in a long while.

Man I'm liking the way were playing Defense, both units are playing allot better.

The OKC game saw a new energy level on defense that I hadn't seen before.

I think it was 2nd Half of the Memphis Game. But I still wished they'd Rebound the darn Ball, but man sky's the limit if they keep playing this way. Did anybody notice that Blake and DJ had One Dunk between them, and how's about DJ's Free Throws, I never thought they'd look this good, he sure is improving as the Season's gone along.

by the way collison been playing with the starters, which is great both offensively and defensively. don't you guys think it would be better for him to start as sg than crawford?

i'd rather just have willie start. i want jamal to get that 6th man of the year. collison and jamal can put games away going against other teams second unit

Would be nice to even get Barnes with the second unit. Doc is hoping for health to balance things out because having our best 5 on the floor and then going full bench seems to leave huge drop-offs. Green and Granger may start just for the sake of balance.

Willie's two hand dunks last night is awesome, give him more minutes and he will give you a good result.

Yeah Willie's Dunk surprised me too and that was the only good move by big baby Wink However I think Davis should be at the 4, he can't protect the rim like DJ.

Davis & Hollins or Davis & DJ/Blake.

Hope Granger will play against the Lakers much more. Besides his currently mediocre scoring he's still a good defender.

Willie Green is quite quick and more athletic than I thought he was! Always a pro! Granger showed a lot of flashes in his 4 minutes. When he poked the ball away from Morris it was....

Good win, but can't be too comfortable with the way the game unfolded, it was tight till the end and we needed an unlikely source to go off to pull ahead.

CP looks really rusty, 5 turnovers, he does not look anywhere near the form of last season. I know he is fresh of the shoulder injury and nursing the thumb, but if its affecting his play maybe he should take a few game s off and make sure he is 100% healthy going into the playoffs.

Willie played with more Athleticism when he was in Philly before he injured his knee, He was actually on his way to big things before that too. But he hasn't been the same player since then. Really good to see him get up there again. That was really good play by Big Baby, Blake often has that play but never makes it, maybe this will give him an Idea.

i think he just had an off game. 3 of the 5 turnovers happen in one quarter in less than 5 minutes. it was just a slow start. slowly but surely he'll get back to form. he was playing pretty well the last couple of games. he had like 3 turnovers in a span of like 4-5 games. i think it was just that kind of night

CP3 had 4 turnovers in like 5 games before yesterday, Sun defense was just hounding him, that's all.

He was also pressing too much in the 1st half where he had 4 turnovers. He was much better in the 2nd half.

I think he was trying to prove something to Dragic. He did a pretty good job taking Dragic out of the game. Held him to 14 points. They were pretty much a wash.

DJ since the new year (29 games):

51.8% FT

DJ last 20 games:

51.3% FT

DJ last 10 games:

53.1% FT

Getting over the 50% hump is a good sign

Don't forget that DJ is clutch in free-throws especially when the game is on the line...he puts a dagger right through the heart of every players that dare to foul him...

I'm so sick of stephen a smith saying doc is going to pull him in the fourth quarter:

  1. Doc has shown he isn't pulling him

  2. His fourth quarter free throw average is pretty good and not a problem

  3. He is almost at that magic 55 percent number where you shouldn't hack

  4. Dwight Howard and Andrew bogut aren't good foul shooters, but he doesn't pick on either of them for it. Especially bogut

I agree. Bogut and Dwight are horrific free throw shooters , but no one ever says one thing. Stehphen A Smith and Skip are really getting on my nerves. They are constantly up Lebron and....
